I go here for convenience at lunch. Everybody is friendly but it's over-priced. The men's locker room is not cleaned well or frequently enough. They finally changed the shower curtains but they are too small. Basically people can see you shower. The lockers look nice on the outside, but inside needs work. The gym nautilus equipment often has several machines down. The free weights are dated. The dumbell handles are filthy. I clean them myself before and after use with a sanitized wipe. The wipe is dark brown with dirt from other people's hands. The cup holders on the nautilus equipment frequently have dirt and used sanitizing wipes. I like to stretch before my workout but there is no dedicated are for stretching. There are rooms with weighted bags i would like to use to practice e my martial arts because it give a good cardio workout but the lock the doors and won't let you use them. I don't like to workout before or after work. My lunch hour at work is perfect for me and this place is close. I could get a membership at a much nicer facility for half the price. If it wasn't for the convenience I would not go here and may stop if they don't clean it up. The staff are very friendly though.

I love the Hollywood YMCA! I enjoy the classes (particularly spinning), the weight room, the pool and the private classes. I have been training with Lissandra Pearce since 2020 who is fantastic. Always positive, correcting my form and ensuring I don't get injured. She's a remarkable trainer with an outstanding work ethic. Always on time, professional and highly skilled at what she does. My three kids (young men) use the Y weekly and it promotes a sense of community and involvement in sports that's important for life. I highly recommend the Y to my friends and family!

Outdoor pool is nice and y membership gets us into all the y’s across the country which is really nice. There’s no towels here though and no adult locker rooms with things like a sauna but great outdoor pool area and that’s really all we wanted to have

I use to work out at my office, but after working remotely for over 2 years and not having a gym to go to i signed up for the Y. I am new to the Y but i am so happy with the variety of classes and times available that i have no excuse not to start taking care of myself again! So glad i made the commitment to the Y and to myself!

The Y is a friendly place with a lot of activities & special events! It’s almost always open. I like the lap pool best of all & swim there every day!

My kid is attending day care in YMCA and believe me this is the best place for kids ever!!! We’ve already tried 2 more day care schools before but the only one place that my son loves and wants to go to is YMCA! Teachers are open, friendly, helpful and full of love, they totally understand what kids need❤️

I enjoy swimming laps in the pool. The pool is kept clean and sign up for lap lanes is organized. I enjoy using the gym which is very clean. The weight machines are kept up. The Y is a nice place with a friendly atmosphere.

Everyone is so nice! 😊 We as a family usevthe swimming pool, the Gym, and my daughter is in Gymnastics class. Affordable and we enjoy it very much.

Positive environment and good, competitive games! The coaches go above and beyond helping the kids! Happy we found this basketball program for my son!

My family and I have been members at the Hollywood YMCA since 2017, our kids have enjoyed a variety of kids programs from daycare to basketball, gymnastics, swimming, Jiu Jitsu and summer camp. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. The gym facility is a little small but still a great place to get good training done. Most recently they have added a game room with table tennis, foosball & air hockey. My kids love spending time there. I highly recommend this location.

I had left a review before.... it disappeared! Well, I really love this place. This place offers a variety of services. I take advantage of the pilates classes and preschool/summer camp. The pilates instructors are prepared, aswell as engaged and truly care; my 2 y and 4 y are very happy, and love their teachers, and I am confident they are taken care of, respected and learn having fun. They often ask to go to preschool also on the weekends, and they miss their teachers. They just redid the pool, and it is brand new, but I didn't have the chance to use it personally. My children do swim class there during their preschool schedule, and during summer camp. Some things could be improved, the structure is old, the playground is rotten and dangerous in some areas, the gym is old and dusty. It isn't a "fancy place " but still I am grateful we have it in Hollywood, and they offer well needed services for our community Thank you

Told me to cancel my membership in person and I went in and canceled but they never actually did it. When I called they said I needed to come back in and cancel it again. Makes no sense. They are doing their best to not lose members and the cost is extremely expensive. Make sure if you cancel you check they actually did it.

Greatvplace and staff. Rowing ergs need updating and maintained, but generally very happy with my experience there.

Appreciate being among all ages and generations. Staff is always friendly. Facility is clean. Fee is affordable. It is close to home. New classes/options are added frequently.

I love this place. The staff are kind, warm, accepting and thoughtful. I am so lucky to have them in my community and as my neighbors. My children never complain about going to the child care while I workout because they love the staff there and always make friends.

The YMCA in Hollywood has an outdoor pool with a zero- entry. This is great as it allows my friend who is in a wheelchair to enter using the PVC Wheelchair (provided by the Y) and walk laps/exercise. This permits him to work on regaining his balance and strength in a safe manner. Also a shout out to Rodrick, one of the trainers at the Y. He has been instrumental in William’s rehab- he’s patient, extremely kind and shows William what he is still capable of doing but also what he can regain. He gives him Hope!! Thank you YMCA!!

Group fitness classes are great! Also love the pool area.

The camps and sports programs are second to none!! They make every teammate feel accepted and accomplished!

I have been going to the Y since I was 6 years old. I learned my love of travel and discovery during my summer at the YMCA. I learned how to swim and made a lot of friends! I like that the programs are family friendly and specifically targeted to get a person in shape no matter where they are in life. The trainers are very helpful and so is the staff. They have always reached out to me in a friendly manner in regards missed appointments or payment. I enjoy my neighborhood Y, and I would recommend this place to those that are new to the neighborhood looking to make lifelong friends, or just a place for you and your family to stay active!

Love this place. It is super clean and I feel safe. Group classes are just what I need at the dates/times that suits me. A great place to work on your wellness without the extra pressure of a regular gym!

We love the small town connection feel we get there! Gymnastics is great. We love coach Paula! She works hard to make the girls learn their routine and be the best they can be. We are very thankful for her. Alex is a great trainer/stretcher - I have become more flexible and intune with my body since I have been using him. Lisa a a great greeter to have at the front! I don’t know his name but the white haired gentleman at the check in is such a sweet heart! He welcomes us by name now. So cute!! I need to learn his name!! Thank you for all the hard work you do!!!

Only use the gym. Gym is good. love the cardio machine. Wish they had curve treadmill, better leg press, add kettlebells, have true stretch station golf because the one on the gym is not comfortable and doesn't provide good stretch.

I love going to the YMCA. All the different classes keep me active!! The teachers are awesome as well!!
