Eduardo's Mexican Food

Restaurant Mexican restaurant Latin american restaurant

👍 If you want classic Americanized Mexican food, then you will probably enjoy this place. I wouldn’t call it authentic Mexican food, however, all our food came out hot, service was good, and my Tamarindo margarita was great! 🍹 Chips and salsa were perfect before our meal! 4 out of 5 ⭐️s only because... People often mention good, Mexican, salsa, time, service, great, meal, rice, lunch, ordered,

I punched in “Restaurant” and this was one of the five that popped up near me, and I was in the mood for Mexican, because when you’re this close to the border you gotta eat Mexican, it’s just a rule. Follow the rules. Being from San Antonio, I know a good tortilla, and these ones were not what I was expecting, but to be fair, were probably the best version of their tortilla type. It was carefully double wrapped in paper and was hot, just like everything else. Say what you will about authenticity, but for an all-around excellent meal in a very irie atmosphere. It’s Cal-Mex in Arizona… Zona-Mex? Either way, it’s a solid 5-star dining experience. I ordered the Machaca plate with flour tortillas (I recommend trying their corn, I bet it’ll be delicious). The Machaca was flavorful on the spicy side, but not overbearing. Really tasty. The beans seemed homemade and fresh and nicely topped with some cheese. The veggies were fresh and delicious, the rice fluffy and good with the beans. The one basket of complementary chips with salsa were also very good with the salsa giving you some idea of medium heat. Also fresh and delicious.

This place is a great stop to eat in the historic downtown area of Yuma. The place has a cool beachfront front vibe with great ambiance music in the background that's not too loud and allows you to converse easily at your dinner table. The dining room has good lighting and very clean. The tables and chairs are comfortable with assorted condiments at each one. We were greeted by our waitress Divine who was very pleasant to talk to and actively engaged in our conversation to give us a run down of the drinks and food on the menu. She promptly brought out our drinks and recommended the Chile con carne which was very good. Divine made sure we had a very good dining experience. There's plenty of items on the menu to choose from but not too cluttered. The menu was short and sweet, which means that what's on there is done very well. The plates, silverware and glasses were clean as well as our table. Our bartender Alli made a wonderful mango margarita that was delicious. The beer was cold and the vibe in the bar area was very inviting. We had the pleasure of meeting Bill the owner and he made sure we were well taken cared of. Even though the place was quickly filling with dinner guests he took the time to give us a rundown of the history of the building as well as the renovations made. His family has been in the restaurant business for years and the appearance, quality and freshness of the food at Eduardo's shows it. Wont be the last time we stop by but glad we did, truly a wonderful time of good food, music and drinks!

Please... please, please!!!! Save your money! I ordered through Uber eats this afternoon and first, they marked my order as accepted and being prepared but didn't actually start it until a first driver showed up there to confirm my order. It ended up coming 1 hr later than originally quoted. Then I open the packaging and the food is cold, sloppy, and disgusting. I've NEVER had such poor quality Mexican food in my life. The best item I received was probably the flour tortilla that I requested as corn because I'm gluten intolerant.

Food is great, only thing I notice is maybe the fry oil could be a bit hotter. The folded tacos and chips took on some extra grease which happens during a lower temp longer fry. Outside of that, textures and flavors were on point.

4 of us are from out of town, stopped there for lunch. All of our meals were excellent. So was the salsa. Outstanding. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. 5 stars from all 4 of us. Thank you

Friend's birthday lunch. Meal was wonderful. Love, love, love the soup. The 4 item $9.99 lunch special is awesome. I selected the tostado, the enchilada w/beef, soup, and rice. The margarita was the cherry on top of this most excellent meal. Loved the open-feeling of the restaurant. Nice bar as well. People were super friendly. Win-win.

Horrible!!!!! First of all I ordered a rice bowl and was charged .75 for every topping on the bowl that is advertised to have toppings included. I asked with tomato, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese and it DIDNT have lettuce or sour cream even though I was charged for all these toppings that were supposed to be included. The only reason I didn’t go back is because we are on a tour bus so we ordered our food to go so we can get to our next destination. The rice is extremely salty! And I can’t even enjoy my meal! HORRIBLE FOOD! Definitely washed up “Mexican” food. I think I rather have Taco Bell and I would never eat there. Extremely disappointed!

Absolutely AMAZING food, super inexpensive, and GREAT service! I visit here because of work every year, and I am NEVER disappointed! There are so many authentic Mexican restaurants in Yuma, but Eduardo's is constantly my FAVORITE!

Great food and service, our waitress was amazing. She did it all: hostess, waitress, bartender, cook. She made best margarita I have had in a long time.

My husband and I are new to Yuma. We were looking for some good authentic Mexican food and Google this place. It didn't let us down! I got tamales and my husband got carne con chili verde. It was very tasty and filling. The only negative things that could be improved is the time it take to get your food after ordering that took a while and the regsweet tea tasted like dort water there wasn't much flavor. Over all the food was amazing and well definitely come back and recommend to others.

I had never been here before so I was excited to see what make this place great. The waitress brought us chips and salsa and they were delicious. I mean, the salsa was exceptional. We ordered drinks and I got a large Chavela. It was a wel prepared Michelada and it was excellent. I will be back just for that one thing alone. We finally got to order our food and they brought two more baskets of chips and more salsa to the table. There weren't a lot of people in the place for a Friday and 15 minutes later the waitress came back out and told us the kitchen was out of some meats. I wanted the machaca burrito, but that was on the list along with two other plates at the table. There were 7 of us. Finally the food came and it wasn't what we wanted. Never seen a place run out of menu items on a Friday night a 6p.m. nothing got comped. Figure we'll see if there are drink specials one night this week and go back for a retry. Can't be like this all the time. My friends that have lived here for all their lives said it isn't usually like this.

I gave them 3 stars because of price. The food was good, margaritas were good but they charge for everything separately. Tortilla that should come with a meal that cost $14.00 but they charge extra for a Tortilla. It seemed as though everything thing that should come with a meal was charged extra. Service was good but $70.00 for two for lunch especially for Mexican food was way out of line.

Place was fairly busy when we arrived but the hostess seated us (4) quickly inside. We had to flag someone down to get waited on after about 15 minutes, after that food and drinks arrived quickly and servings were good and plentiful.
