The worst service in Avignon. We paid for the ice cream and sat down at a table. We started to be expelled, said that if we ordered only ice cream, then we should eat it on the street. Then we ordered coffee and tea at 18:00 and cakes. We brought cakes and tap water. And tea and coffee said they changed their mind and did not sell, as this is not the time for tea. We did not want to eat cakes without tea or coffee and then they started screaming at us. We said that they deceived us. And they in reply told us that this is not Spain and that only pigs drink tea at this time.

Although the quality of the cakes seemed to be good (but expensive), the service was dreadful. The waiter was extremely unpolite and addressed to us disrespectifully since we entered the place. Therefore, we stood up and leave 10 min later.

Food was good but we got ripped off by the waiter who just appeared to pull a number out of the air and charge us that for 1 pastry, a coffee, a juice and a croque monsieur. There weren’t priced listed anywhere either so we couldn’t argue but definitely not the cheapest place to eat in the area. I will be avoiding in future. Would not recommend.

The worst of the worst in Avignon. Incredibly rude staff, charged 12 euro for 2 cappuccinos and rushed us away. Prices are not displayed anywhere so I think they charge different prices to tourists. Avoid like the plague.

We were in Avignon in May for a few weeks and stopped by this local place on Revolution. We typically had espresso, pastry cafe au lait. Many locals frequent this shop. A place to relax and people watch. I would think if you’re here during June-August it would be crazy busy in this spot on Revolution. We didn’t have any issues. Many pastry and ice cream choices.

Dirty glasses, with stains of somebody's mouth and pieces of food! All three of the glasses were dirty. We asked the waiter to change one of the glasses which was dirtier than the others. After a while he finally brought another, which was dirty as well! Completely unacceptable, especially for a place with such high prices (26 euros for three scoops of ice cream, banana split and two espresso coffees). Moreover, one of the scoops of ice-cream came completely melted, like they used leftovers from someone else. Avoid this place. Don't make the same error as we did.

Price: Cappuccino, Croissant & Croque monsieur 9 Euros. Review: I was very surprised to see such bad reviews. I think to an extend it is a touristy spot but for simple breakfast I really liked it. Overall I loved the cappuccino with cream and the croissant was fresh. Recommend you to just order simple things for a quick breakfast. The waiter did forget to order my orange juice but I also ordered it later. He didn't charge me for it. He also forgot to bring us water.

Shocking service! We arrived and waited, as is polite, to ask if we could have a table for a coffee. The waitress proceeded to say in French (we are bilingual) to state she will not serve us standing up-sit down! Then when I went to the ladies, she demanded an order from my husband who asked if he could wait for me. She told him, in no uncertain terms, that he could not eat any outside food at the table (he was sitting with a bag on the table which was not boulangerie). I returned and ordered a fresh orange juice of which the glass was barely half full. This is the absolute worst service and attitude we experienced after one month in Avignon. Avoid at all costs!

Service is very poor. 10 minutes sat before waiter acknowledged me, and I asked for a menu, which arrived after he finished serving everyone else. So everyone has their food delivered for a breakfast order before he has even returned to take my order. After 25 minutes I left.

The worse experience in Avignon. Food and drinks are expensive, and horrible. We were charged 17.9 euro for just 2 cappuccinos and 3 normal bread (croissant). Cappuccino is way too sweet with too much cream on the top of it.

🫤 Keep on walking. We unfortunately ended up here after my wife cancelled our booking at a nice restaurant because it was "too long to walk" 10 minutes. Everything else was full and this looked the best of all the bad choices in the square. I braved the Pad Thai. Artistic licensing on the name as it w...
