It is a great natural museum at Avignon, which exhibits a wide variety of displays including, among other things, animal and mineral skeletons. The museum consists of three major collections: a zoological collection, a botanical collection and a geological collection. This museum is especially recommended for those of you who are interested in the natural world or for those of you who come as a family with children, who like to explore their surroundings. Admission is free. Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00, 14:00 to 18:00. How long should you visit? Between one and two hours. Distance from the previous point: The Rakin Museum is down the street, about 50 meters from the Kalba Museum.

For non French speakers, there wasn’t so much to learn. There are many other nice things to see in Avignon.

Fun museum for family. Quite an old fashioned display, with a somewhat overwhelming volume of stuffed extinct fauna, but some nice touches included in the information, and even some local traditional poetry thrown in.

This is a quirky little museum with an extensive fossil collection including one of the best T. rex skulls I have ever seen. Certainly worth the visit and admission is free.

I enjoy science museums but my French was not quite up to the job here. Take Google Translate with you! Strangely, not air-conditioned..

Amazing little museum with real history. Perfect for a 15 minute family exploration.

Free museum that's very enjoyable. Only negative thing is that the information boards are only in French so some things are harder to understand as a tourist.

Good museum of natural history that's also free entry. I think the highlights are the T-Rex and stuffed animals.
