In the gallery you can see some (not so many) works by Vincent and read about and admire the painting van Gogh was most satisfied with: “Sower With Setting Sun” which is quintessence of his style. There is also a fantastic exhibition of Niko Pirosmani, who was inspired by Vincent. From the terrace on the roof you can enjoy the beatiful view of Arles. If you expect Fondtation Vincent to be a gallery like Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, you will be deeply dissapointed, but be ready for a unique experience at a price of 9 Euro per person.

Superbly curated gallery in the heart of charming Arles. Don’t listen to the naysayers, anyone with an ounce of culture will love this place. 7 Van Gogh originals - more than enough for one day - are complemented by an arrangement from Laura Owens, including some of her own artwork, much of which has been inspired by Vincent. In addition wallpaper sourced from Winifred How, a little known art student from early 20th century London, and even soundscapes. Make a beeline for the hidden terrace on the rooftop which affords scintillating views of the town.

Very clean and organized, but has only two of Van Gogh's masterpieces. Worth the visit just to see them, specially Poppy Field... you can get really close to it and see how impressive his painting was! At the way out the is a nice store, but the attendant was not polite at all...

I really liked the architectural style of this one. The exhibit inside is very interesting and deviates from but also takes up van Gogh in some way. I appreciated the distribution and elegance of the exhibition, so I recommend anyone to come here.

Good exhibition space and facilities housing 5 of Van Gogh’s paintings along with many others depending on the show curated at the time. Air conditioning and locker facilities, as bags not allowed. €10 entrance (concessions available).

Such a special experience in Arles, to see Vincent's painting in the town he painted them, to learn about his life, his method, his craft, to get perspective from other artists. What a treat!

The place is quiet close the everywhere, and this museum part of some Van Gogh’s work also got extra exhibitions for the young artists

Really enjoyed this exhibition. I struggled with the abstract works but overall it was really worth checking out. Bags should be placed into lockers, free to use. Wheelchair accessible. Toilets on site.

An interesting building with some Van Gogh pieces. Not many of his works are there however, so we did not spend much time there.

Lovely quiet and contemplative space in Arles, 5 of Van Gogh s tableaux plus other expos. If you are in the creative arts just mention that and you have a free entry.

You come for the Van Goghs, which are wonderful, but stay for the exhibition of women abstract expressionist painters, who are a revelation. Highly recommended.

Lots of modern art, we just came for the Van Gogh paintings which they had only 5. Still worth a visit.

Didn't expect many Van Gogh paintings but the link with the other works on display (June 2023) was tenuous.

Beautiful works but Van Gogh and other artists. While the Van Gogh pieces may not necessarily be congruent with those of the more recent artists, they are individually quite fantastic.

Nice venue with some interesting pieces when we went (April ‘23). Staff came across a bit snobby but once you’re past the ticket desk it’s fine.

Pretty museum, but a bit small and at the time of my visit the exposition felt a bit disorganized. The continuity was difficult to follow.

Only one Van Gogh painting and three Picasso drawings. The rest is rotating exhibit, Nicole Eisenman not my kind of enjoyment.

Beautiful muzeum, interesting collection, but if you expect to see Van Gogh's works, you will be disappointed, as there is only one painting. The roof terrace is stunning!

Some great paintings by the master here @addsomeglamour

Van Gogh's work is some of the most beautiful art work I've seen. Well worth the visit. Plus the foundation featured another artist whose work was absolutely stunning.

👍👍 The park is charming. Did you know that Van Gogh painted 187 paintings in Arles. And there is no wonder why. The city is full of inspiration. Every street you walk, you get to feel more and more the spirit of this place. Do not miss out Van High’s paintings throughout the city where he painted them
