My family had a wonderful lunch here today sitting outside. Service was efficient and friendly. We were the only Americans. Mostly locals here. Their plate of the day was roasted chicken falling off the bone with delish mashed potatoes. The green curry was beautifully presented and yummy. The quinoa salad with avocado, pomegranate seeds and a light dressing was another winner. Prices were reasonable but not cheap. We paid about 14 euro per entree. Worth it for a relaxing, wonderful lunch. We are already planning to go back while we are here.

At first we were denied a table, beauce it was full. We asked again and we had a table in 15 minutes and it was worth the wait. The service/owners were super kind, the food was amazing (Asian inspired) and the atmosphere is just great. Would come back 100% with a reservation next time :-)

Charming and pretty terrace in a museum. Menu is surprisingly fusion. We had both good and so so dishes.

Le Violette is an excellent restaurant. This chef really enjoys his work and it shows. I own an AIRBNB and my guests go there, they love the place, it is not a tourist trap, people go there to eat and enjoy wonderful food at reasonable prices.

Absolutely outstanding from food to service to location. Friendly and helpful and truly a wonderfully relaxed dining experience and probably one of, if not the best, meals of my life. Go and enjoy.

Unique place with an amazing environment and atmosphere. Eveything we tried was tasty with the exception of a pasta dish with tomato sauce which was lacking sault and generally taste. Strongly recommended if you are in Avignon and look for a cozy place to have dinner.

This restaurant is completely different from the reviews. Even if you order two dishes with the same sauce, the staff will not follow up on you at all. Closing work begins even though customers are eating. The owner was working on his computer even though he was aware we were leaving the restaurant. For the first time, I met a shop owner who never said ``Welcome'' or ``Thank you.'' My last meal in Avignon was ruined.

Splendid venue in the heart of Avignon! Kind of a twisted fusion French/ Asian cuisine. The eggplant dish was outstanding Apérol spritz well done Restaurant a bit pricey but ok Staff could smile a bit more tho

A beautiful restaurant set in the ambience of the Collection Lambert Avignon museum. Surrounded by plane trees in the courtyard and away from the tourist hustle and bustle of Avignon. A very attentive service. Our wine Chateau Des Tours was very tasty. We had the aubergine caviar (with garlic, but a bit bland) and Dame of Shanghai ( very good chicken salad) as starters and Argentine shrimp in coconut curry (sovereign, but not outstanding) in the main course, the crying tiger (beef with grilled potatoes with chillie mayo) was ok, slightly burnt. Conclusion: Restaurant in a very nice ambience. Very good wine. Food so 4,5.

Such a great place, the food is excellent, Asian inspired and so tasty. The outdoor space is not sunny and they have high baby chairs. I recommend the eggplant as starter and main dish the zucchini. But all dishes including deserts are good so no risk.

Recommended restaurant from Rick Steve’s Provence and French Riviera travel book. We didn’t have reservations but were fortunate enough to get a table for dinner ! Everyone seemed to have reservations with multiple people turned away. Staff was incredibly friendly and a beautiful hand written English menu board was brought to our table ! The menu was explained when we had questions and we didn’t get any attitude for speaking minimal French. We ordered a lovely French wine and our main entrees . Both were excellent and so fresh and beautifully presented. The flavours developed into wonderful flavours with every bite ! I had the fish with chutney and peas. My husband had the ribs with exotic salad with rice. The cheesecake dessert was the best cheesecake I have ever had! The raspberry sorbet on top put it over the top! We sat under beautiful chestnut trees in a quiet courtyard away from the hectic tourist streets! Familles enjoying a lovely evening ! Highly recommend !

Delightful experience at Le Violette for a leisurely lunch today. Very friendly and helpful service, a unique and sophisticated Asian inspired menu and refined surroundings.

Wow, I’m so happy we found this place and it was open. The food was the best we had in Avignon. Every dish was creative, well thought out and wonderfully executed. Each dish was amazing and delicious. The cod with coconut curry was sublime, the Risotto with ceps was savory and perfectly cooked, the duck with confit was sweet and yummy. We finished with 4 different desserts, all wonderful. You cannot go wrong with anything you eat here, and Nikola (the owner) is very sweet and accommodating!! Thank you Nikola for creating this beautiful space and wonderful food!!!!

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is unique and well prepared and the service is perfect and the outdoor atmosphere is excellent. No rush. Perfect end to a busy day exploring Avignon. Smiles all around.
