We found this restaurant in a rush from google maps’ foodie list. It turned out to be very good. We can see that the owner and the chef are very passionate about their restaurant. They put effort in making the dishes. The appetiser is very very appetising. Mains are a little filling. Great small restaurant of Avignon!

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Really enjoyed it! We had a set lunch of the day together with an Avenio set lunch. The food is good quality. The foie gras and the grilled seafood that came with the Avenio set was excellent. Generous in helpings and flavourful. Dessert was pavlova which was also great! There was a fruit sorbet hidden inside which made it really refreshing!

There are 2 choices of menus. 3 courses for 39 or 49 Euros. The food quality is excellent and a good choice of wines which are priced fairly as well as the degistif and aperitifs. The service was very good but a bit slow

Really great food, but the service could be improved. Transitions between courses were very long and it took an eternity to get our bill as the waiter seemed more interested in flirting with his colleague than tending to his clients.

Ultimately wasn't impressed with anything they did. The octopus was ok but luke warm . . . Like, is it supposed to be cold or hot? I literally almost choked on the chuck steak so definitely don't order that. There's barely audible music, strangely intense lighting and just awful decor. There's a painting of Beavis and butthead. Really not sure how this made it into the guide.

We did not have reservation, but we arrived early. The food was excellent and the service perfect. The prices are very accesibles . I recommend 100%.

Okay food. Had the truffle risotto. Was told a truffle risotto with some chorizo on the top. Came with zucchini, peas and corn. I don't eat corn. Not ideal when you might have an allergy or aversion. The eggplant starter was okay too. No identifiable flavours and everything pretty mushy other than the prosciutto. One credit was that it was all seasoned well. The wine was delightful.

This restaurant is highly rated on TripAdvisor and has a Michelin pre-star rating. I have no real complaints except that the food didn't live up to my expectations. The tuna and pâté starter used what was in my opinion poor quality tuna that was very grisly. I ordered the shrimp main course which tasted fine covered with a thin doughy phyllo/strudel, but it was only lukewarm when it was served. The brown bread did not taste as fresh as I've had in other restaurants in the past few days. I did enjoy one of their sweet wines. And the prices were not outrageous. My wife insists that I report that her meal was good. And I confess the mango coconut coulis for dessert was tasty. But to be perfectly frank, I would not choose to return again.

food was good!! Worth the money, although it took a long while until we got our dessert (tiramisu). waitress was apologetic and offered us coffee to make up for it.

This culinary experience was best described as balanced. The flavors, aromas, textures and colors all came together delightfully. The truffle risotto was particularly enjoyable. The service was solid, and the location is ever so adequate. Avenio is well worth a visit.

Highly recommend well executed and affordable 3 course meal. Choose the Avenio menu with incredible foie gras, scallops and st marcelin cheese for dessert. Fantastic !

Excellent, excellent experience! On our first night in Avignon we managed to stumble upon this beautiful restaurant and to our luck we even managed to get a table here. The food was exquisite! From the wine selection, to the dessert and the flavourful entree and main - everything here was perfect. Lovely, courteous staff! Thank you!

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Avignon. From the helpful and attentive staff to absolutely delicious food presented beautifully and served with helpful descriptions. The wine selection certainly allows you to match your choice to the food. The service and all the staff were excellent and we'll be going back there again next time we're in Avignon.

not as good as we expected. the starter was crab with grapefruit and avocado . It was bland and lacked flavor. . We then followed with a cod dish that was adequate but underwhelming and the pigeon was the same. the dessert was quite good a pineapple dish that saved the dinner . not a bad place just a bit underwhelming

Delicious food, and great service. Staff were friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable of all dishes and wines they offered. We had people in our group who had gluten allergies and other allergies, and they were happy and willing to adapt all dishes to accommodate us. They even brought us a separate basket of gluten free bread. Highly recommend!

It is a great restaurant which I'd recommend wholeheartedly. The taste of the food is perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English. You can also choose a mixture of the menu with a fair price. Would be very happy to come back again.

Outstanding food, fair prices, and friendly efficient service. They even played along with my mediocre French, though they also speak English and have an English menu. What more could you want? I agree with the others who called it the best meal they've had in France. Bravo.

Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. I really liked all dishes in the 3-course meal. The main I had was the pigeon with a strong jus, it is very well prepared with a lot of skill. The pigeon was cooked to just the right level inside, moist and juicy but with yet a slightly charred and fragrant skin.

The best restaurant during our trip in Southern France. The pigeon was cooked to perfection. They have a very good value children’s menu - 12 euros for a main, a drink and ice creams. Both kids finished the cod dish with all the vegetables- a miracle! We had a very enjoyable meal since we didn’t need to worry that the kids didn’t like their food.

Best meal I’ve had in France, hands down. Compared to an American restaurant with what you’d get for the price, it is legitimately unbeatable. Not too expensive either!

Love this restaurant. We walked by and stopped for dinner. Love the ambiance and the dishes. Will recommend to friends!

Me and my partner visited this place couple weeks ago while staying in Avignon. The place had well selected menu which was very well priced considering its a Michelin star restaurant. The stuff was well trained, topping up the water and bringing bread throughout the whole dining. I had a foie gras and my partner had crab dish, both super tasty! The main course was super special, we both had monk fish with chorizo and it was absolutely amazing. Both agreed it was probably the best fish dish we ever tried! For desert I had cheese platter and my partner had chocolate mousse. We also got recommendation to pair desert wine with it and both wines were really well selected by the staff. However considering we were in France and also in a good restaurant, I did expected a better selected and presented selection of cheese in my opinion. All cheese were quite blunt and very similar in taste. To add this up, it was served with bread, which we got served for starter for main course and also for desert....I would like to think the cheese platter would have a blue cheese as one of the types, served with oat cakes or any type of crackers...Maybe frozen grapes? The platter was a bit of a let down, however could be simply modified and improved;) Also would be amazing to see that the restaurant make a simple swap and serve their drinks with paper straws rather then plastic. Overall we had a great time.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while taking a stroll in Avignon. The service was with a smile and very pleasant. Staff spoke good English. The food was very tasty and presented beautifully. The chef made dessert from scratch for our two kids. It was a wonderful surprise. An absolute must if you are visiting Avignon.

There is a reason this restaurant has been Michelin rated every year. The food and presentation are fantastic. A unique combination of flavors makes each plate so delicious. Desserts combine herbs and fruits. The restaurant itself is very inviting and the staff are excellent. They speak English fluently as well.

Decent foods but average service to a solo diner. I was given a corner table even though I have booked in advance and arrived early for dinner and the place was still empty. I also had to wait 15 mins just to get the bill because apparently the staff are too busy serving other crowded tables and didn’t have the time to let me pay (I ate alone and only had 2 items on the bill). I have been to other restaurants which were as busy and as crowded but never felt neglected like this. Foods are OK. I had the haddock and it was nice but not super impressive. I may be too disappointed by the overall experience because fine dining shouldn’t be just about the foods. The staff who in the end let me pay at the bar counter was apologetic, but it was too late. I had enough time to write a full review while waiting for them to take the time for me.

For the price, one of the best michelin star restaurant I have been to. Their lunch menu was my favourite. Their dinner was also amazing.

Had items from the set menu. Scallops and fish are highly recommended!
