An amazing Restaurant & Wine Bar. Impressive wine menu. Friendly staff guide you through choosing the right dish and wine. Wine selection is nice. Atmosphere is quite cool with good music. Would recommend to any one and make sure to maybe make a reservation to sit outside if possible, very nice alley/street.

We stumbled upon this restaurant last minute after coming to Avignon and it exceeded expectations. I guess it wasn’t surprising to later find out it was a 2018 Michelin rated restaurant and still served up some wonderful French cuisine. The service was great as well and we will definitely want to come back the next time in Avignon.

Update: this restaurant was so good that we went for a dinner for a second time within the same week. We had an amazing culinary experience at this restaurant on a Saturday night in early May 2018. We ordered cured/aged meats chacouterie as a starter. Then the main chicken dish (very good) as well as the salmon pasta with vegetables and cream sauce. The pasta was very fresh and the salmon was unbelievable - appropriately seasoned and tastefully smoked and salted. Wine menu was impressive. Also... For dessert we had the pavlova. Oh my god. So good. The pavlova is made with fresh lemon and hard on the outside yet chewy on the inside. Then, it is topped with whipped creme and fresh strawberries. Moreover, the service was very good - warm, friendly, engaging. Would definitely eat here again :)

Was looking for steak tartare during our visit to this beautiful city. I was pleasantly surprised to find this off the beaten path café. Although I didn’t realize the menu changes, so no tartare but the food we did have was absolutely delicious. I had the mussels and pasta, and my girlfriend had the Capacio. Came with a side of fries homemade of course all of them were amazing. For app I had the escargot and it was absolutely amazingly delicious, best I had all week. I can’t tell you enough how great these flavors were across all the dishes and the price was right. The service was great, with a smile and was very helpful. Spoke English so he could help us decide on a good wine. Which was amazing a nice white Pape, try it very rare. About six tables outside, and plenty of seating, along with a bar on the inside. This place is easy to walk by surrounded by souvenir and clothing shops.

The food is not bad but not very delicious as I imagine when i saw the pictures from the google review. You get what you paid. It is a good place to rest and have late lunch because they seems offer never stop service even in the afternoon.

I’m probably just upset that what the kids ordered, the duck, was so much better than my entrée. Helpful and friendly staff. A good choice for dinner.

I saw the Michelin sign on the front door. But it’s just mediocre tourist food. If you are looking for good French food, this is NOT the place. But the server was very nice. Starters were from charcuterie and fromagerie, nothing creative.

Absolutely amazing. Impecable service, wonderful food, wonderful wine from mainly local vineyards, had our best meal here from our stay in Provence. Not for those fine dining folk, but everyone else will enjoy for sure. Reserve a table though, very popular now.

Lovely little place with great food. The seafood is fresh and skillfully cooked, the dishes are creative and well balanced, and the different flavors really shine through. There are also plenty of wines available by the glass. Finally, the service is exceptionally helpful and friendly . You can't help leaving in a good mood. I'll definitely be returning if I'm ever in Avignon again.

A hidden gem - a fabulous restaurant in every aspect! The waiter took the time to go through every dish on the menu, and as he promised, everything was super fresh. We weren’t surprised to find out that the restaurant was on the Michelin guide in 2018. Highly recommend if looking to escape tourist traps.

The crew at Le 46 is top-notch! The waiters are not only friendly but also know their stuff. They made us feel right at home. And let’s talk about their wine selection - it’s like a treasure trove for wine lovers! Food is also damn delicious! Kudos to the team at Le 46 for giving us an unforgettable dining experience. Very friendly service. Great wine list with good pricing. The food is bistrot fair, prepared perfectly. The skin on the duck breast was prepared beautifully. We would definitely go back !

This was our best meal by far in Avignon. We tried several other high rated restaurants on Google that were barely mediocre. Not this one, it was AMAZING!!! Atmosphere, presentation, food quality, and service all top notch. Reminds me of high end food I have eaten at up scale San Francisco or NYC restaurants. Don’t miss out on this place.

The best restaurant experience we had in our 3 days in Avignon. The service was extremely kind and attentive, the food perfection and great selection of local wines. Superb!!! Don't skip the dessert!

What a find! We googled places that served Frogs legs & escargot just to try and didn’t really have a clue that we’d booked such an amazing restaurant. The service was immediately warm and so friendly and the staff were attentive without rushing us. The food was DELICIOUS - we had tempura frogs legs, butternut soup, duck & a cheese plate followed by chocolate mousse and pommels caramel and I’ve got absolutely nothing negative to say about any of it! We only wish we had another night so we could go back and sample some more!

Pork is tender and flavorful; mashed potatoes have a very smooth texture and are delicious. The speed of serving can be improved. The food was so delicious that I didn't have time to take a photo.

Nice place, next to Palais des papes. We had the eggplant caviar, fish and house fries. Food was very good. Service was a little slow. But I will recommend visiting this restaurant when in Avignon.

The best food we had in Provence was in this restaurant. Few meals on the menu, big enough to satisfy your hunger. Two out of four days me and my family had a lunch here. Great main courses, wine and desserts. Staff was very polite and friendly. There is a cat walking around as well. Would definitely go back if I ever happened to find myself in Avignon.

Good value for delicious and well presented food. A small menu so that each dish is entirely fresh and using in season produce. Good atmosphere. Two very efficient and friendly waiters keeping an eye on an almost full restaurant in case anything was wanted. Knowledgeable about wine too.

A hidden gem located in a residential setting behind the palace. We had just arrived in Avignon and didn't have a booking but we were able to get a table outside shortly after 7 when they opened for dinner. What a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided an english language menu. My need for a gluten free choice was happily and easily met with everything either gluten free or easily adjusted. A small menu of seasonal ingredients including meat, seafood and vegetables. And the opportunity to drink a glass of wine from the local area Châteauneuf-du-Pape. There was also a little amuse bouche served to start. Just fantastic! We will return.

Fresh ingredients, cooked and seasoned just right. Friendly and gentle service. The recommended wine is also very suitable. Overall, it was an experience that exceeded expectations.

It was so delicious, we had a couple of entrés and the carpaccio, the highlight was the melon soup! Very nice rose wine.

We were a little disappointed. The service was pleasant but intermittent. We didn't get our drinks until after our food arrived. I ordered the pork and it was overdone and chewy. The environment was pleasant and relaxing.

The meal was truly delicious; a symphony of flavours that made us think we had wasted our previous meals eating the generic tourist offerings elsewhere. The wines suggested from their extensive range beautifully matched the courses we chose and we had delightful service with a smile from Marc. We returned for another excellent meal rather than risk disappointment elsewhere.

Best restaurant ever ! We loved this place so much and they have great wine ever ! We went there two days in a row ;) If I have another chance to visit to Avignon, I'd like to go there one more time for sure !!;)

Amazing food and service with a smile. The staff are very friendly and speak English if you’re foreign. Location is on a low traffic street so you can have a conversation with your table. Would recommend reservations, unless you get lucky.

Wonderful scallops. Excellent duck breast. Small menu resulting in excellent quality and service. Very good wine list. One of the best meals we’ve had before n France.

A bar which offers great wines, delicious food, nice atmosphere, confortable table and good service. It makes Avignon even more attractive. We had a great time here and will definitely come back when visit South France.
