The food was DELICIOUS! Good portions but the quality of the food was incredible. Great wine to accompany. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant is situated on a quiet street corner.

Great to appreciate some Corsican charcuterie and cheese with a bottle of Orezza. Love it

Terrible food. Burger took Over an hour. Fish bounced back if you threw on floor. Warm rose served. Staff apologised with some terrible ice cream And we had food poisoning all night. Eat at your own peril. 🤢

Excellent food and wine. And Lucy ist very friendly. So I can only recommend to go There and to taste Corse and French cousine. Close to place Pio and just opposite Laverie Chapeaurouge. So also nice for a coffee or wine while waiting. Merci beaucoup, Lucy!

It has a nice vibe in general, the staff are friendly and always seem to be smiling, but the food just isn't at all good, I mean, the presentation is pretty good, but the quality isn't (exception for the patatas de maison which were pretty well done). I tried other dishes on my table, and they all tasted bland.

Wonderful food. Americans, the burger is delicious but get clarification on what it is before you order, it’s NOT what you’re expecting. The veal was amazing and service was great.

Had dinner here tonight, exceptional food and very friendly and helpful service. The beignettes were sublime. Boar as a main course was utterly delicious! Highly recommended.

We ordered the lamb and took a long time to come. The meat was a piece of the leg and extremely hard and rubbery. The accompanying sauce and potatoes were better but not much flavour. The waitress was this rude girl that stood by and didn’t utter a word looking away, just waiting for us to order very unfriendly. Overall experience very poor better to spend my money on a macdonalds burger. Do not recommend this place

We were looking for a place for lunch on a Sunday after 2pm, near the market. We stopped by this restaurant to try their Corsican cuisine and it did not disappoint. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the food was fresh, tasty and made of high quality ingredients. We especially enjoyed the little fried farinata (chickpea flour) disks, which reminded us of home. And the Corsican chestnut cake was simply superb! Five starts to Mamma Corsica!

Charming little restaurant in the centre of Avignon. The patroness was very kind putting up with my karaoke-level French (although she also has an excellent command of English). My recommendation is to go for the cured meats, which sadly I only sampled a portion of, and which are quite unique given the corsican style and are delicious. Would happily return on my next visit to Provence.

I was looking for a good place where to eat fish in Avignon which was not touristic and still open after 2 PM. I saw the great reviews and the place didn't disappoint me at all. Nice atmosphere, fresh fish and delicious combination. Even the salad was original and with unusual ingredients. I Absolutely recommend it. Besides the waiters and the owner kept me company during the lunch. I highly suggest the cream brulee. The best I have ever eaten.

The service was good but the food averrage. The place is not so clean, they were cleaning the windows and mirrors while we were waiting for the food. It was a smell of all kind of cleaning products. I will sure not come backq

Excellent food. The veal is outstanding; cooked in a country gravy. (You can’t get this in the US!). Lovely small salad. Bon Appetit!

Great casual atmosphere, good for and service was good. Right after we sat down the place got swamped and the staff handles it well

We have been in France for a week, starting in Paris and this was the best meal that we've had so far. Fantastic flavors and textures. We had the perch, the veal, the burger and a special dish with sausage. It was all fantastic. I would give the service a 6/5 if possible.

We were visiting from Canada and found this place at the end of a long day of tourist activity. Everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was charming in that hole-in-the-wall way that makes you feel like you've stumbled on a hidden treasure. We especially enjoyed the stewed veal and the roasted camembert, and nearly every dish included these wonderful little roast potatoes we couldn't get enough of. Order a few things and share them. You won't be disappointed. We'll be back next time we're in Avignon!

I’m still dreaming of the food there: very cozy restaurant with amazing food and nice staff. I strongly recommend!! The restaurant also inspired a trip to Corsica 🌼

Everything tasted fresh and delicious! We ordered the beignet salad and veal stew, both of which were exceptional. Great service too.

Mamma Corsica is fabulous! I had dinner here - a delicious salad with herb and onion beignets, and a tuna steak that was perfect. The owner, Lucy, is very friendly and the service was great. This little restaurant is right off of Place Pie, near Les Halles, and the outdoor patio is quiet and comfortable. Skip the touristy locations and check out this spot!

From the start we were made feel very welcome by witty waitress Hibat, who explained the menu to us. My starter, of deep-fried cheese with salad, was sheer delight, a wonderful blend of flavours. My wife was equally pleased by her generous and varied portions of charcuterie. My main course was grilled salmon, served with a really delicious sauce, while Tess had sea-bass , cooked to perfection. The roast potatoes and salad which accompanied both meals were also delightful, as was the Corsican wine. Having no room for dessert, we finished with a few glasses of Limoncello, a perfect ending g. The ambience through the restaurant was young, and lighthearted, due in great measure to waitresses Hibat and Lucy, making it a most memorable resta night.

Still a good place to eat. Went there pre-covid and pleased to find it still up to scratch. Good simple Corsican food. My only gripe is that the wine was a little warm. But i took a jug rather than a bottle and it was 36°C that day. Ate the fried cheese fritters with salad then the veal stew. Very good. They found us a place rapidly and service was good and fast.

Food is unique and delicious. There were a wide variety of red wines but more limited white wine options. Although it was an incredibly busy night on Easter weekend our waitress was so friendly and attentive. I would go back anytime I was in Avignon!

The most wonderful little restaurant in Avignon run by one of the most wonderful people we met on our trip to France. The owner, Lucy, was extremely caring and went out of her way to ensure we had plenty to eat as vegetarians (not as easy in most French restaurants). The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Highly recommended!!
