Had lunch today with a friend. We had the lunch specials which were excellent. I had duck breast with potatoes carrots and asparagus in a tasty sauce which was delicious. Friend had a fish in a bouillabase sauce with mashed potatoes. Also delicious. Dessert was unusual and delicious. Would eat here again. Lunch with 1 dessert and coffee was 39 euros.

Great service and food. We enjoyed eating in the square near Les Halles. The other restaurants on the square seemed like tourist traps. We especially liked the formula meal.

A great location on Tour Saint Jean and an excellent spot for food, drinks and people watching. We were warmly welcomed by Quentin and sat outside for dinner. A local beer and gin and toinic started our evening. We had Homemade Foie Gras, Marinated In Cognac, and served with Caramelised Onion Confit and salad to start - a generous portion and served with fresh bread. For main course I had the Warm goat cheese salad, ham, caramelised onion confit, honey and walnuts which I loved and my husband had the bacon Classic Burger, Charolais Steak, Cheddar, Grenaille Potatoes which he thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent and attentive. And, great prices.

Great spot for lunch. Goats cheese salad and steak & roasties, beer and wine. €59 Good service. Laughed when waiter returned saying chef couldn’t cook the steak ‘rare’ - so settled for ‘medium’ - still lovely and rare.

Food is stunning. If it’s not a brasserie, it would have got Michelin star for sure. The staff also incredibly nice. Definitely a must try if in town!

Good food, even better service. This is a cool/ hard rock kinda place, didn't expect it to be child/baby-friendly...but the waiters melted when they saw our baby-girl. We had a great experience!

Beautiful outdoor setting, lots of menu options. We were hungry for a snack, so we ordered a fromage pizza and were very pleased.

Avoid avoid avoid. Highly undertrained staff, lazily prepared food, and long waiting times. I can’t believe it even has 4.2 stars. Edit since you’d like more info. For a €38 charcuterie board I would expect a bit more than some sloppily put together meats and 5 mediocre cheeses. We weren’t given any plates when we were served, due to poorly trained staff (I don’t want to blame the waiters, just the management) Shrimp risotto was just a tasteless rice porridge poured over with a fish concentrate (shrimps we’re good though). The linguine alle vongole was dry, bland, and had absolutely no mussels. The veal (although it was cooked well and had good color) was tough and inedible. And finally the fruit salad was straight from a can and even had the canned syrup that it comes with. For all of this pathetic food we paid €180, this is why you should avoid this place at all costs.

We went here on the French Revolution day, this year there was a big bush fire near by so the sky was dark and even ash fell down. We sat outside, nice seating area but the door was unprofessionally held open by a fire extinguisher. It felt two times :). The service was friendly, good in English and always kind. The food was sooo delicious, we really recommend the tuna Tatar (starter and main), which had a fantastic dressing. The whole combination with the toppings and nuts was fantastic. For the main courses we had the salat with the bruscetta, pasta (too much cream for our taste), the beef Tatar and one burger. The burger was just perfect, nice bun and good beef quality. There could have been a bit side salat. For my mother the beef Tatar was missing some spice and her salat was too oily. To summarise the food was very good and we recommend it!

If you don't speak french, avoid. The food was great but the staff doesn't speak English and the waiting time was insane. We ordered the menu of the day and had to wait 2 hours. In the end, after que complained, the owner gifted us the desserts, which was a nice gesture. Edit (since I can't reply): we didn't arrived at 6, we arrived at 13:00 and the terrace was half empty, with lots of free tables. We even sat at only 2 tables in order to not occupy more. I don't see how reservation might have changed the fact that we waited 2 hours for our food since we ordered the daily menu. We almost miss our train due to this.

It seems a new, not qualifiet cook prepared a cod with lots of bones left in the fish 10x. Not spiced at all The Linguini the same, no taste. The "Cafe Complet" a joke. The Service, slow and not well coordinated. Monday Service, Staff? The worst "Restaurant" the past 4 weeks on our tour de France.

The food is decent, but nothing worth reordering. It was an enjoyable experience and the waiting staff was friendly to us even though we don't know French. Presentation of each plate was rather nice.

Everything was excellent. The tomato appetizer was flavorful and refreshing. The best dang burger we have ever had. And the veal was so good! Definitely a must try here!

Very good bavette for 12,50 € (see my before/after pictures). Very popular with locals.

This has become one of my favorites in Avignon. Delicious canard, risotto, Rossini, wine. Waitress Morgane is FANTASTIC and also she makes great cocktails - not on the menu but she knows them well. If the weather is nice to enjoy outside, it is a beautiful area, but inside is one of the most beautiful places around too especially the downstairs bar.

After struggling to find real vegetarian / vegan food throughout our trip to France, it was a welcome relief to find a vegan labelled meal on a menu. What arrived was a plate of "proper" vegetables, consisting of new potatoes, cauliflower, artichoke, carrots, lentils and sweet potato puree. Very tasty and very filling. Fast service from friendly, English-speaking staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Wow. Awful service. Very rude. If you’re American (and a very experienced, kind diner) DO NOT COME HERE. The manager Madalena is beyond rude and the the server voiced she was scared of her, which must explain her pretending to not speak English once problems arose. If you have any allergies, don’t come here. Thank god I have an epi pen, they thought it was funny to ignore my dietary allergies, also to ignore every preparation instruction given. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed as a guest in my dining history.
