The three course meal option is a superb value and the food is delicious as well. They have great indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth it over a lot of the other restaurants in town.

What a place for someone with celiac disease! Most everything was gluten free, and if not labels were super clear. Same for vegetarians and vegans. Tasty Italian foods, plus wine and GF beer!

haven’t quite seen any french restaurant so fast like this. I think eventually faster than Mcdonalds I guess. not a big fan of MW. but love the bright atmosphere, & surely will come for cold drinks or coffee.

On our last night in Avignon, we didn't feel like a full, formal dinner. So we opted to grab some casual food in Vivotto, which had a nice display of items in glass jars. This is a self-serve type of food place, which was perfect for what we were in the mood for. The lady working there spoke good English and was very friendly and helpful. She patiently explained the various food options and gave recommendations. The selection also had many gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options, so this would be a great place for those with dietary restrictions.

Fantastic option for quick fast food that is healthy! Vegetarian menu, hot and cold options, and three courses with drink for less than 17 euros. Great value.

We researched this as I need gluten free. A novel concept. The food was pre cooked and in individual jars in a cooler. You help yourself and take to the till where they heat up the main meals and soups. It's all fresh and most of menu is gluten free. At €10.95 for two courses and €13.95 for 3 courses including chilled sparkling water it is great value. I didn't expect much but it was just what we needed. Worth a visit. We paid the same for one course in a restaurant the day before.

Just to set expectations, this is not a restaurant. They have pre cooked items that you can buy but no options to heat them. Don’t expect to sit here and eat. Maybe good to take with you to your place

This place is entirely self service. The meals come in jars which you pick up and pay at the counter. The quality of the food is actually quite good and the setting is nice. A couple of vegan options.

Amazing gluten-free place. Best food I had in France so far, literally. They make eating easy, something hard to find for a celiac in this country.

Unpretentious, cute little place to have tasty lunch! Good value for money, gluten free and vegetarian options, great atmosphere, tasteful interior, nice wine. I had a butternut squash soup, vegetarian lasagna, red wine, carafe of sparkling water and tiramisu, all for 13.95€.

Excellent experience. As a Celiac, I was so happy to come across this gem in Avignon. Almost the entire menu is gluten-free (sans gluten). When you walk in there is a large fridge where the meal options are. The gluten-free options and ingredients are clearly labeled. You pick what you want and bring it to the counter for them to heat up. They also do take-away. You can eat inside or outside. The wifi is great and free. The girl at the counter was very kind and helpful. Recommend!!

I am so thankful I found this place! I enjoyed a gluten and dairy free dinner and dessert. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. Allergy-friendly meals have been hard to find in France.

What a creative and clever idea for a cafe! The dishes are already pre-made, so minimal waiting. You serve yourself, so no need for additional wait staff. This was right up my alley, and the food was excellent, vegetarian, and well priced to match. Kudos to the ownership.

Great concept. You simply pick the courses you want direct out of the fridge. If warming is needed the waiter heats it for you. Great, as in G R E A T value for money. Best glutenfree place for me till date, and I am not the person looking for glutenfree, but my partner. However I found it great without any reservations. Bravo.

It is exactly what you expect when you see the food inside when you pass by: premade food is in the fridge in glass jars. We got a “formula” which is a starter, main, dessert. Everything was delicious (of course it wasn’t cooked to order and I didn’t expect my penne to be al dente). The waitress was helpful with recommendations, explanations of each meal/ingredients, spoke good English. She offered to heat up our mains. I recommend this place for a quick bite which was perfect for us because we didn’t feel like a full sit down and wait-to-be-served dinner. Also, there are many vegan and gluten free options. P.S. I cannot believe some bad reviews that say it wasn’t properly heated up (I mean does your microwave at home heat up everything evenly? No it doesn’t) or some reviews from cheap people who expect to get a Michelin dinner for 10€.

We LOVE the concept of this eatery!! Sustainably minded, nutritious, affordable and served by friendly staff in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere (indoor and outdoor seating available) A wide range of food types with plenty of vegetarian options too - a rare find in France! The meal-deals are VERY good value with chilled-water (still OR sparkling) on-tap something that other places could really learn from. We’ve visited twice in two days and would return AGAIN if we weren’t heading home tomorrow… 😉

Thank you very much Vivotto for this yummy dinner. This place is definitely good for people on a budget who also care about regional food and reduced packaging. I do however have some improvements I cannot stay silent about. As you can see in the picture, the bowls need to be placed on trays which are lined with a paper. As always I refused this single-use (and really unnecessary) item. Sadly I got told off by the waiter for doing so, since it’s company policy to use them. He explained it’s because they don’t have time to clean them. This is a very lame excuse, I’m sorry. I even offered to clean it myself, but he said he didn’t have soap. It’s obvious that the owner of this restaurant cares about reducing waste. My recommendation is to wash the trays and not to offer any candy wrapped in plastic (...don’t get me started on those).

Good enough for us to have gone there twice. It's quick and simple healthy fast food. You choose your meal from the chiller and pay while the staff heat it up within 45 seconds... Just in time when you get your change. Tried the chorizo rosotto and meat lasagna and both were solid and unpretentious. The lady behind the counter was nice enough to point out that we need not buy the sparkling water as they offered that for free from a dispenser. Nice touch and environmentally sensible.
