Terrible everything - food, staff, service. Take heed of the reviews and look elsewhere. Muscles - terrible, mostly closed. Bread - hard, terrible. Lasagne - not a lasagne. Salad - not too bad. Service - abysmal. Toilets - terrible. Service - terrible.

warning: DO NOT EAT HERE! The owner or manager will welcome you to sit down but after you’ve ordered - you are nobody! Is there a rating less than 1 star? Their waiter Morgan is Rude. So stressful to eat here! Holiday dinner failure!

Say it as I see it, I thought this place was fine, more than fine! Our food was great, crepes and salad, with coffee and drinks (lunch) all told was 61 Euros, not bad. It's right in the square, great for kids and the staff were lovely. Could see it got a little slow as they got busy but otherwise no issues. It's a tourist spot, you expect gourmet, especially with a lasagne or something, prob a bit silly. But the food we had was huge, lovely and came out promptly. Service was lovely, got a little slow as they got busy, but nothing else.

The food is good, the prices are reasonable. The only problem is the small number of waiters. They are in over their heads with work and this makes them angry and mad at each other. Don't ask for bread, they might flip on you! 1 star because the waiter was rude to us. We weren't even thanked for paying, it seemed like it annoyed the waiter more than anything..

Desperate waitress ushered my group into sitting, got microwaved beef lasagna that was not worth the price as a result, and it was scalding hot. A tragic excuse of a salad with nothing but lettuce. What makes it worse is that the place is surrounded by great-looking restaurants. Don’t go to the place where no one is sitting.

Very disappointing. Would not have visited had I read previous reviews. Surly waiter, very poor food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Don’t let that two star review sway you. This is a zero star restaurant. Disgusting low quality food. The waitress was twisted drunk. Both our meals were laughable.

Horrible service, wait 40 min, nothing arrived. when asking, nobody replied. Avoid that place ... salty plizza, microwaved dishes, grilled beef was awful. Tartare not prepared without sauce ... terrible !!!

RUN AWAY! Worst food of my life. While we were looking at the menu, they lured us to sit down. We walked around Avignon and chose the worst option. The waiters are messy and dirty. We ordered two pizzas, one worse than the other, as if a bunch of ingredients had been dumped on the frozen dough. Coca cola from a can. I called five times to pay to leave as soon as possible, but we waited 20 minutes for someone to come and charge us. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before, but I definitely don't recommend it to anyone. Waste of money and time!!

Truly awful, what a mistake going here for what we thought might be a quick bite to eat. Service was slow with agitated waiters shouting at each other. When the food arrived ( sorry no photos) salad of just lettuce leaves and tasteless Provençal tart. Then to pay the bill took numerous request not allowing me to escape this misery. Avoid

We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at Le Forum; friendly lady front of house, kind enough to help us with the menu and made suggestions, service was quick and the food was tasty. Great overall!

Great food: snails. The rest of the food we ordered was good. Service 2-3 stars. We could see our server rolling his eyes at our requests. Average price ice per person 20€. Just OK overall.

Without a question my worst dining experience in France. Painfully slow despite multiple kind requests for menus, water, to order, next course, bill, etc. Interactions from wait staff were standoffish & dismissive. Terrible all the way around.

Terrible food. Dirty place. It seems the food have already been eaten when it was served. I don't recommend it. There are other good restaurants for the same price in the same street.

Well I've just guzzled a half a litre of beer and had a fantastic Forum pizza in just under half an hour so this is all going well for me. I don't speak French but the staff seem friendly and happy to help out and tolerate my language difficulties. I came here back in 2019 and the food and service was just as good.

While looking for a place to eat dinner and celebrate an anniversary, we were sort of lured in to Le Forum by a friendly waiter, who assured us this is the best restaurant in town with the best food. He was so wrong! He said the plate de jour that night was good - a steak with salad, fries and a desert for €17. We should have noticed there was no one else there - now we know why. The steak was a thin piece of hard, unchewable, inedible leather. The salad was a bit of lettuce on the plate. Instead of fries I ordered vegetables- what came was a small scoop of mush. After one bite of the leather, we returned it. They were shocked. How dare we? Manager came, took back the food and said choose something else from the menu. My wife chose a salmon dish, I chose an entrecôte done medium. It came raw. I asked for it to be cooked more, manager came and argued that that was medium. Really it wasn’t. We didn’t get the special prices, no desert, no apology, no one checked on us during the meal. What a very disappointing experience of French gastronomy in the heart of Avignon, steps away from the Popes Palace. I would never go back there again. We are sorry we wasted our money.
