THEY MAKE THEIR OWN CORN TORTILLAS AND SALSA! In 15 years of expatriation this is *the only* authentic Mexican food in France (so far). And, by the way, I’m an American from Chicago and a lifelong eater of Mexican food. I’ve been living in France most of my life since 2007 = not a tourist/not passing through. The staff is nice and friendly and the food gives a satisfaction I may never have had in Europe before today. Asada today was so good, I’ll be back for pescado mañana! Thank you, El Taquito!

Average mexican food. We ordered Tacos but quite overpriced. Moreover, the Ceviche is not tasty at all and pricy. Staff really kind and at least the tacos are prepared and served in the moment.

El Taquito is excellent! It saved me as an expat living in France. The food is rich, savory and gloriously textured. Do yourself a favor and come here for a meal during your visit!

What a freakin gem in Avignon. We found it a bit difficult to find food we really liked in Avignon as most places are bad tourist spots. El Taquito is a huge exception - absolutely spectacular food. We are originally from Arizona, so Mexican food holds a special place for us and we are very critical, but this place delivered beyond any expectation. I wish we had found it sooner.

Delicious! This is the best Mexican food we've found while traveling Europe and it can be spicy if you want it to be spicy (just add yummy homemade salsa). The owner is very friendly, and lived in Mexico for some time. Definitely recommend!

Hospitality was lovely. My brother and I ordered the guacamole to share and he had 4 tacos and then I had 4 of my own tacos as well. They were so delicious, they were gone in minutes! Food was delicious and tasty. Service was great and staff super friendly. Highly recommend.

This is the best Mexican food you will find anywhere outside of Mexico or the US hands down. I lived in the Taco capital of the world (Austin,Texas), and I'm telling you this place has the BEST fish tacos I've probably ever had in my life. What a find! Do yourself a favour. Just do it!
