Excellent food - the salad at lunch with sardines was exceptional, well conceived and executed. Beef tartare and shrimp "burger" well done and delicious sides. Service - not so much. Waiter mocked us for getting English menus then served two tables of French clients seated after us first (we had ordered bottles of wine and water) My colleague speaks fluent French but writes food and wine reviews for an English publication so always asks for an English menu to see how she is treated. Our first course was served - only after we did not touch it for at least 5 minutes did he bring the wine. Ignored us the rest of the time - we poured our own wine, etc. The setting was comfortable. 5 stars for food, 2 for service only because the person busing tables was courteous and another waiter had mercy on us and brought our check.

Very nice cosy local place with great entrees. Very reasonably priced wine list and the most amazing dessert bar. The set menu at 29 Euro is a really good value. The roast chicken and duck are standouts.

Very good restaurant with very high quality cuisine and original recipes. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Very quick and efficient service. Good wine. Menus formula is the best value for money option, still however expensive (within the range of a 1 star Michelin but without the star!)

This restaurant is really something special. The service is incredibly kind, and the food is just outstanding. When we arrived, a very friendly waiter brought us to our table. Initially, there was plenty of space, but as time passed, the restaurant started to fill up. They offered two menus, one for 35€ and another for 59€, and we all decided to go for the 35€ menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice. For starters, we decided to try one of everything, and I must say, the Caesar salad stood out as my favorite, followed closely by the sardines. The main dishes, featuring succulent beef cheek, were nothing short of fantastic. They were rich in flavor, and the portions were quite generous. By the time dessert rolled around, we were quite full, but the sweet treats on display were undeniably tempting. If you ever have the opportunity, I highly recommend paying this place a visit. It's an experience that's truly worth it.

Possibly the best restaurant in Provence is in the heart of St. Remy. L’ailse ou la Cuisse presents a surprising broad menu in a beautiful outdoor setting. Servers are affable and accommodating to dietary menu amendments, something many other Provence restaurants discourage. We dined there twice with consistently impressive results. The menu is diverse by Provence standards, where many restaurants offer two or three main courses. There are two can’t-miss menu options that should be on every diner’s table: (1) the lamb shoulder, which cooks for seven hours and can be separated with a spoon; and (2) the Asian marinated pork ribs, similarly cooked for five hours until it simply falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. Somehow, even with these delicacies, the desserts steal the show. Guests are invited to the dessert display to select their meal’s final course. Make sure you leave plenty of room and order several desserts to sample.

Food was great. We ordered the lamb and vegetable gyozas. The dessert selection was quite large, we had the recommended mille feuilles framboises and it did not disappoint. The service was friendly, however it was slow. Would recommend.

Very interesting moment which I did like a lot is when you are invited to choose a desert. It’s a nice experience at the end of your launch. There is a wide range of beverages and for sure it’s delicious.

This was one of the restaurants that was recommended by the front desk at our hotel. We had a group of seven people that they were able to accommodate when we called to make reservations. The food was very good and the service was outstanding.

What an amazing experience! The service is incredible, the food is absolutely delicious, and the restaurant itself is down a cute, quiet, and quaint little alley. This restaurant is a must visit if you are in the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence area.

Elegant atmosphere inside - outdoor terrace looks lovely but too chilly at night so it’s not in use! It was quite busy but that had little impact on the service. Service was attentive and friendly and accommodated us with the dogs ! Food has a choice of set price menus or a la carte. We selected one of the set menus - it was very good value! Difficult to find any issues to fault - so I won’t get picky!! Enjoyable evening and good food!

Amazing food, fun service. Not to be missed

Disappointing meal. The food was served almost instantly and did not taste like it was cooked on site. We suspect that the food was prepared industrially and reheated in the restaurant, based on the homogeneous taste and identical appearance of our dishes, the unusually quick service, and the fact that they declined to substitute the sides that came with our meal. So disappointing for a meal that was over 100 euros without drinks. The food was edible, but disappointing.

Most of the food was very tasty! Dessert service was fun, but the majority of our party was a bit disappointed with their dessert. Having smokers next to us who were constantly smoking also brought down the mood a bit.

Found it on Google Map, has good reviews, and tried. Indeed it worths the stars, it's a very good restaurant, almost fine dining, therefore a bit pricey. The 3 course menu was 35€/pers, kids menu 20€ (1 dish, 1 drink, 1 ice cream). We had one of the last table, so better to book in advance. Food was good, service perfect.

Wow!!! Chicken with fois gras sauce. Get it! Mas de la Dame wine to complement.

Fantastic food. Extremely well presented. Good attentive service with very friendly staff. The only disappointment was at times it felt as though we were being rushed.

Overrated. Dinner was good but nothing special or remarkable. Music was terrible and dining experience wasn’t nearly as good as other restaurants we ate at in st. Remy. Customer service was very good though.

We had dinner here a few weeks ago for our last night in Saint Remy. The food was very good - my veal chops was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly, quick and efficient. We were seated in the outdoor patio which had a warm and cozy atmosphere although I think the tables were a bit too close to each other. Overall, we would come back again.

An amazing staff with exquisite dishes. I highly recommend making a reservation before going there, it is usually crowded. We had a reservation for the 4th May and we were lucky because it was full. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, they have a delicious selection of desserts and a very nice coffee as well as tasty wine, we enjoyed a bottle of Pinot noir. I highly recommend this restaurant in saint Remy de Provence.

L’Aile ou la Cuisse - 11 Nov - 3 people - Dinner. This place is a must in St. Remy. The place is beautiful, the service is wonderful. We ordered a Gravlax Salmon starter to share. As a main course we all ordered the same dish: Cocotte de poulet (chicken casserole with potatoes and mushrooms). We were blown away on how delicious it was. To drink we had some water and 1 bottle of Domaine d’Eole rosé wine (very good one and affordable). Our total bill for 3 people was 145€ including tip. 100% would recommend coming here, must visit while in st remy.

Outstanding! Packed on a February evening, reservations are a must. We sat out in the enclosed patio. Food was incredible, this is by the owners of ‘Gus’ also in town. The name translates to ‘the wing or the thigh’

Best restaurant in town. Great quality and service. The ambient is quiet and the decoration is sober. We had a menu of three courses for around€30 and a foigras. The entrée was a cold soup vichyssois which was smooth and fresh. The meat as a main was perfectly seasoned and sided by smashed pumpkin. As a dessert you can pick any of the assorted pastries of the window. The service was kind and gentle by Florian and the maître. Highly recommend this place.

Reliable spot for a tasty meal, scrumptious desserts. Friendly staff and online booking for those who don't like calling in French.

Food was ok, in my case the starter and dessert were better than the main. The staff was friendly and the experience was nice (you go pick your dessert from the pâtisserie), but more expensive than the quality justifies.

Really enjoyed our meal. Delicious starter and main was good too. Lost a star because I thought the desert option of pre-prepared cold deserts was a bit of a cop-out.

Amazing experience. Outstanding service. Waiters really took care of us. Food is super, and the cheaper set menu for 35 eur is good value for money.

The Daily Menu, which includes Gazpacho soup for dinner, Mole fish in Provencal and a cake of your choice, is really light and great. Be careful with ordering wine, the price on the invoice can sometimes be different from the one on the invoice. Check before paying that the restaurant does not steal the "wrong bill", because the billing machines are said to be strange creatures ....

😠 We were quite disappointed with our experience at this supposed Italian restaurant. After requesting it three times, it finally arrived, but by then we were almost d...
