I really want to like this place. We were given a *huge* room with terrace and comfortable beds, and the staff is nice and professional, but the place is just not being kept up although it's very busy from tourist groups, close to the rail station and the walked city, etc.. fwiw, It feels like it's a front for a money laundering option.... Slight sewage-y smell in the carpet near one of the bathrooms. Permanently broken AC. Pool is permanently out of order. Very nice breakfast served by very friendly people. Otherwise very clean.

I would have given solid 5 stars as the hotel is well placed and not too bad a price. The supplied breakfast was excellent also. But one has to get a good nights sleep and the aircon was pathetic! Even sleeping naked on top of the bed, it was still too hot. Sadly often the problem with big hotels not having separate systems for each room.

well placed hotel beside train station. Very pleasant and helpful front desk people. Quiet room. Room cleaning and quality of the breakfast are borderline.

Air conditioning doesn't work. It was so hot! Unbearable.... my only star is for the staff. They were very helpful and got us fans so we could sleep. The furniture is also very old. The decoration in the room dates to the 90s. I dont recommend this hotel, nor will I ever stay here again.

We had a really lovely experience at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a garden view suite. If you have a car, as we did, you can park nearby in the St Charles underground car park. Speak with the hotel as they can arrange a discount for you.

The superior double room it is like a Junior Suite in other places. Very good quality for the price.

Room in need of many updates. Located outside of the walled city, but you can easily walk into the walled city. After staying in many hotels in the region, this one does not seem up to the **** rating.

The rooms were actually nice and the location was good as well. The biggest issue we had was that the first two nights we were there, the air conditioning was not working, or rather, it was shut off. The rooms were stifling hot, so we opened the windows, which would have helped, but mosquitos came in. So we had to close the windows. The third night, the air conditioning was turned back on, which made it far more comfortable. The breakfast was pretty mediocre as far as what we got at other hotels during our stay. The high light about this place was the front staff. They were so helpful and friendly. They helped with reservations and great service the last night or group was there.

The air condition in the room was broken. They should not provide this room to customers, even through with cheaper price. It’s like deception! The hotel only set a movable machine with weak wind and loud noise.

The hotel is in a very good location. At our arrival the lady at the front desk was not very welcoming. She just handed over the keys and said nothing, we had to question her to find out breakfast times etc. On the contrary the staff during breakfast on the second day and also at checkout was very friendly. I also liked the provencal atmosphere in the rooms. However there are a lot of hiccups such as run down bathroom etc.

Great location near the old city and restaurants. Hotel showing its age but clean with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast selection is excellent with large sitting area for dining. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. When checking in park in the empty lot adjacent to the front glass doors and then proceed to underground parking. Only negative was advertised air conditioning that wasn’t. Hotel policy starts a/c at a certain date, as most of Europe probably does. Would have been nice if the hotel stated the dates as rooms were very stuffy and warm when daytime highs reached 27. First world problem for sure. Will stay again.

Good and clean but no parking options. The underground was full and no other possibilities available. Why not organise a shuttle from the outside of the center?

Great moderately priced hotel right near the train station. Room was clean and comfortable despite 100 degree heat. Breakfast was adequate but the service from the manager and especially Pauline was five star.

Didn't have hot water! None showed interest to solve the problem, or any kind of discount was offered. So payed full rate for a room with only cold water to have a shower.

Nice and clean. Very dated rooms. Probably original since last renovation 40 years ago. Like a timemachine to an era you do not want to go to.

A modern hotel very close to the central station and ideally situated to walk into the historic town centre. Rooms and beds are unusually large, and very comfortable. Our room also had a small lounge area. Breakfast was well presented and tasty. There is a small gym, and a rooftop pool.

Foreigners/ Tourist beware. I wish I could give them zero. Me and my family stayed over for one night and had takeaways from McDonalds. After eating we placed it back in the bag (that’s what any civilised person does). Now they send me a picture of food laying on the carpet saying it was us. What’s funny is the take away bags isn’t even visible. I have never across such fraud from a hotel. Trying to charge us for it. Been all over Europe and this tops it as the worst.

We took 2 rooms for families it was the room with no air conditioning room on the 14 of august for a night but we got bitten by insects because the window was open, the air conditioning mobile was connected outside the window, we didn’t report at the reception because, the appearance was tiny and it wasn’t noticeable but later on when we took off in the evening it was worst, itchy and swollen and also bumpy, for a 4 star hotel it is not great and not appropriate at all. I wouldn’t recommend the no conditioning room to no because insects will bite you.

Great location, great quality/ratio, great breakfast. Parking garage right below and easily accessible from the hotel. Perfect for a 1 night stay over

We had a big room on the second floor. The air conditioning sounds like an airplane taking off and was far too loud to use during the night. The bathroom is decently sized but there was black moisture spots around the shower. The rooms clearly need a refresh. The breakfast was basic and lacking choice. The cheese looked like it had seen better times. The location is good but there are other hotels nearby, which have a better price quality ratio. We did not use the swimming pool, as we arrived to late. 179€ was clearly not worth it.

Very enjoyable. Even though at times there were minimal staff, those who were there made our stay a pleasure. Well done

Good and bad at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only meal available is breakfast, the usual hotel buffet. Small swimming pool on the roof, with sunbeds around. Would not go back.

Great Location and big room. Very easy to park if you drive to there. The room facilities are a bit old, other than that everything is good.

Very large room. Had an issue with windows not locking that allowed road noise to be a slight problem. Helpful staff. Very easy parking underneath the hotel and access to the old town across the street. About a 1km walk to Palais de Pap. Very comfortable stay.

Perfect location, the hotel is nice and people at reception very friendly. Two issues at the hotel. Biggest is breakfast. The choice is very very limited. One piece of Ham, a bit of cheese and industrial fruits salad. No hard egg possible, no nice French Charcuterie no fresh yoghourt. For a four star, this is not acceptable. Second issue is that personal at reception is also playing barman job. They were very nice and doing their best but no stock of drinks (one bottle of gin empty, no extra, no piece of lemon. Again not acceptable for a 4 Star. But super gentle personal.

A business type hotel, good location to visit the old part of town. Spacious room and bathroom but the air conditioning did not work properly, it was noisy but not cooling at all. Our bathroom was handicapped suitable, which we did not request, and did not have a hair dryer.

Excellent hotel, well located with all amenities you can expect. Room was in good condition as well as the beds. There was a separate sitting area, like a suite. We stayed for the week and enjoyed the garden view. Breakfast is great and staff welcoming, I can only recommend it. A/C was working well.

Very spacious rooms and located right next to the train station (note local train station not TGV). Not so close to the attractions though, so there is that tradeoff. The air conditioning blew out warm air no matter what the temperature was set to - with outside temperatures up to 37°C this was unbearably hot. Though I notified reception, this wasn't rectified during my (short) stay. The common areas of the hotel were also very warm. The staff are friendly and helpful (a few don't speak English but we always able to find someone that did). Rooms are a little dated (without having a really classic look). Hard to recommend during summer unless the air conditioning is fixed! (Would be 3 or 4 stars if they did)

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and really well designed with double sliding doors to the bathroom. The beds are superb. In room breakfasts also, with amazing croissant and fresh bread, a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts and freshly pressed orange juice! Little details however are a little disappointing such as the shower door that doesn't close, no biscuits with the complimentary tea bags, only water in the mini bar. However 24/7 room service. A very pleasant stay. Useful tip: the public parking saint michel is under the hotel

This is a great hotel located next to the station (but not disturbed by rail traffic) and just and few minutes walk from the town centre. 6 minutes by local train to the TVG station for Paris and the south. Small but lovely rooftop plunge pool. Their family rooms are delightful and very comfortable. Excellent and professional staff.

Our stay was not good. The air conditioning does not seem to work. I found my room on the 2nd floor with the windows open and a portable air conditioning unit in the room with the hose sticking out the open window when I checked in - in the afternoon. Arriving back to the room in the evening around 9 PM the room was still very warm. We left the window open with the portable AC still running into the night to cool the room down. Bad idea on my part, the next morning my credit cards were gone. Shane on me. BTW, no room service at night either
