Really awesome market. It’s well organized. Come here on a weekend to feel the town enjoying the market or come on a weekday if you want less crowds. You can order food from multiple places and eat them at once from one spot.

A big indoor market which sells fresh sea food, fruit, veges, bio, pattiseries, Italian, Greek and spice shops. There were also a number of restaurants and cafes. Toilets on site were handy! We found an amazing seafood restaurant and ordered their seafood platter consisting of prawns, oysters and sea snails. It was very fresh, simple and yum! My kids had fish and chips and calamari and chips - both of which were super fresh and very tasty! lovely wait staff who spoke English but were also willing to be patient and allow us to practice our French.

Need to go to watch and taste several foodies places. Special attention to some oysters bar where you can eat and drink white wines. Of course you can do your food shopping in groceries, bakeries, butchers, etc. And it is open on Sunday!

Avignon itself, the old town, is just a huge tourist trap, so Les Halles was on par and a disappointment. Thank goodness for the Asian stand selling samosas. Everything else looked below average. The market itself is probably good but for lunch, meh.

Superb selection of food and drink to suit all tastes. The living wall is worth the trip alone, the pictures don't do it justice.

Marvelous indoor food market. Open limited hours so plan accordingly. Be sure to have lunch at centr'halles with chef Jonathan chiri or take a cooking class. The best meal I had while in france was his duck, which he cooked at our rental house.

Nice market that opens at 6am but most of stalls open after 8am. A few places for your croissant and coffee.

Well maintained market hall. Looks like a block from the outside, but definitely have a look inside. You can enter from the green natural façade facing the square. Diverse offering of stalls: bakeries, fishmonger, vegetable, meat. You can come here for groceries, buy your picknic, or lunch at a stall. Some stalls offer to cook your groceries for you on the spot.

Another lovely market hall. Such places are still one of my favorites. Here you can find everything of your daily “food-needs” 😃

Food market with excellent choise of products: meat, poultry, fish and shellfish, cheeses, breads, vegetables and fruits, a good choise of wines. You can pass a whole morning here. Feasting your eyes and if you start getting hungry there are some small restaurants to taste some of the products you have seen. A Must for good lovers.

Very cool modern, french provincial Farmers Market. Plenty of fresh produce, fish, cheese and baked goods for breakfast or a week's shopping

Great 'living wall' on this building. It must be well over a metre deep. Must weigh a huge amount. Really interesting. Excellent market too (with several bars 🍻).

There are not enough stars. If there is a gastronomic heaven, this is it! Best terrine on the planet, amazing selection of just about any kind of fresh food you can think of.

Beautiful market full of merchants selling fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, cheese, and breads. I purchased one of the best Roquefort cheeses I've tasted at this market, as well as some of the best nut bread. Really enjoyed just strolling through the aisles. Don't miss the spice aisle; it's a treat for the senses.

A really nice indoor food market. As you enter you are hit by a heavenly mix of smells from all the different foods on offer, with everything from Hong Kong style roast duck, French pastries and savoury treats. The selection of goods on offer was very impressive and even the fish counter had everything you could want, all freshly caught. I've heard it's worth heading down early as the best goods can sell out fast, we certainly couldn't find any croissants at 10:30 so it seems to be true.

Nice selection of local olives, garlic, fish, meat; we did a cooking class at the restaurant which was informative but more passive than actively cooking. But inside is dark and low ceilinged, mich nicer to spend your time in outdoor markets around Provence

We stopped into this market twice for a light breakfast and coffees. We also enjoyed all of the market items available for purchase and take away.

Glad we did not miss out visit. Lively market with beautiful fish, tapenade, fougasse, and produce. Lovely vendors. Great fun and a nice way to get a better feel for Provence.

We loved our visit to this covered market. We bought quite an assortment of cheeses, breads, olives, pasta, and seafood (e.g., fresh fish and shrimp). Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Prices were fair and everything tasted great. We went on a busy Sunday in early May 2018 (plus the market is closed on Mondays which increased the busyness) which ended up being a good idea. We basically just gravitated to wherever the locals swarmed! People led us to the city's favourite vendors.

Decent selection of food stalls, food shops, bars, places to manger sur place etc. Some seating not tied to an establishment so you can sit and eat stuff from the places without seating would be great.

Second time visiting here and I remember exactly where the spice shop is. Wish I had more time to stop and eat in one of the wine bars there. I guess I’ll have to got back!

An indoor market with a good selection of different foods to purchase. Some of the vendors have space for you to sit and consume your purchases, otherwise you can take them away. I arrived just after 12pm, and it was pretty quiet by then. I would definitely like to go back earlier in the morning, when I can imagine it would be extremely busy and full of life.

What an amazing place! The front wall features live plants and shrubs. There are stalls inside with vendors that offer pastries, vegetables, meat, fish, spices, and many other food items. We thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the market.

Borough Market in miniature! Excellent fish, shellfish, meat, fruit & veg, cheese, bread, patisserie and a host of other interesting products. We popped in for a quick look, spent over an hour, and had to buy a bag to take home all the stuff we couldn't resist. Highly recommended.

It was busy and the place was quite alive. Enjoyed that part but it wasn't very clean, they were selling fish and had bars just a few feet apart. It was difficult for me to digest that but otherwise I liked the place and most of the products that they sold were nice and weren't that expensive.
