Great monument to visit (I actually work at reception) this place has a very rich history and it is really nice to see how much shows are made here (it is also an artist residence)

Excellent way to spend a couple of hours. Lots to see and a nice little cafe for a cuppa. There is also a restaurant in the open air. Use the map of the building to find your way around as it's easy to miss parts.

Worth a visit - hardly known AFAIK - first Sunday of the month it's free. Usually Euro8. Really beautiful and no crowds in on a June weekend.

A beautifully preserved and restored monastery with interesting tidbits of information and facts from a guidebook and the attractions themselves along the way. I visited in low season and had the entire monastery to myself. The lady at the reception is as kind as she is beautiful. I only wish my French is better so we could have a longer conversation.

From the public parking lot, we took a while to understand where was the entrance. The visit worth it, there weren't a lot of visitors inside the chartreuse and the place is vast: a lot of remains and green areas to see. The chapel with the frescos was stunning. Maybe a little bit more written explanations ?
