This basilica was very beautiful and worth the visit. Centrally located in Avignon. Many different alcoves with religious art and devotion.

Great views, all free. Highly recommend. This might be the only good place to visit in the city :)

the facade is really beautiful. the interior is not bad but it’s been greatly altered with baroque additions. greatly recommend passing by atleast to see the facade. if u see the door open do go in. PS the doors at the main facade were closed so if u want to go in, go around and you’ll find a small door under the big belfry

Took us a while to find the entrance at the side. Once you're inside, you'll see it's beauty. It's very dark as well.

Never made it inside, but this photo of the basilica helped me to see why so many great painters came to or originated in this region. The light!

What a stunning church on the outside this is , unfortunately on our visit we didn’t get to look around on the inside which is a real shame . I was blown away the doors to the church the wood carvings were just Fantastic, it’s great that we can still see these beautiful buildings . Avignon is a great place to visit you won’t be disappointed.

Such a beautiful church, shame it is falling apart and in much need of repairs and uplift.
