The walk to the top is 15mins and quite steep but totally worth it. The view on the Rhone is impressive. The structures of the abbey are unique and the guide is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the place (he has been a guide for 40 years on this site)

Really interesting place. Lots to wander round looking at. Good little guide leaflet in several languages. Make sure you climb up the higher, neighbouring hill for some excellent views and more signs of habitation. And maybe the host will be there. He was very take and let me pay him.

Lovely little site. The view from the terrace was worth the entrance fee alone. I don’t know what people expect for €5.50 these days.

One of its kind, my first time to see something like that. Must see.

Nice walk to the abbey. Fantastic view at the top. There was very friendly and knowledgeable guide who has been there for 40 years who gave an amazing history of the region.

Beautiful place to visit, if you’re driving and you happen to be in the area. It’s not as popular as other tourist destinations in the area but is quiet and clean. The place closes early way before sunset in the summer months but the neighboring hill is open to the public without any time restrictions

An interesting site ... ok with kid's but be aware it's not the safest place on the planet. From the parking lot it's a good walk up to get to the site. And at the site itself there are stairs, ladders, steps, ... you get a good idea when you check my pictures. I had no trouble with my 4 and 8 year old just keep an eye on them.

Very unique place. Recommended bringing a little big spray for the walk in if mosquitoes like you. Pretty easy paved walk up

Something atypical, an abbey dug into the rocks. Don't expect any specific religious display as this is a troglodyte abbey. The rooms are impressive and the roof is filled with tomb hole in the rock. The place is small and there is a 10-15 minutes walk from the parking (at the bottom of the hill). But it is a rare sight.

A walk to the ruins can be difficult for people with disabilities. But so are the ruins itself. Nice view over the area on top of the abbey. You keep wondering who they were able to live there hundreds of years ago.

Beautiful and interesting place. Information is available in multiple languages. The road to the parking lot is a bit difficult (lot’s of big stones). The way ip by foot is easy (paved).

Interesting abbey with the best English language brochure of any sights I have visited during my solo 2-week road trip through Provence

Very impressive archaeological site; you buy tickets at the top for about 6 euros pp and you get a booklet with a map and info about each section and the overall timeline. Great views from the top and quite a beautiful site to see. You reach up to the site with a walk around 10 minutes from the closest car park.

Great parking, great path. Watch out its last entry 12.30 before re opening after a long lunch. We unfortunately didnt get to visit due o this passing through, but it looked interesting. Also better to drive into the car park from the west past acre fruits as there is a narrow bridge you have to go through approaching from the east.
