The original house is not more there, but you can recognize the place from the railway bridge, still in place. Hey, but this is the spot where the great V.V. Gogh was once, and the magic is still in the air. A pad advice about the place.

Apart from google there is no sign or anything to indicate this is the yellow house from Van Gogh’s painting! There is a nice cafe there, though!

Nothing left of the original structure but a photo and sign to remind you it was there. We had coffee at the place next to the location. It’s nice to visit if you have enough time going around Arles.

It was fun to see where Van Gogh's house was, but because it was destroyed in WW2 there isn't an actual house there now. There is a sign showing his painting, however, to help you imagine.

It is exciting to be here even Het gele huis was gone. See the street and Imagine Van Gogh lived here.

Not much to say about this, other than the bldg is yellow, that Van Gogh had in various paintings to do with how light had different effects. It is now a restaurant but we did not eat there. The town itself is much more interesting to see in my opinion than this and a few other places to see that has ties to Van Gogh - Van Gogh to me isn't the attraction, but rather a diversion and waste of time and money to key on him, when the real beauty is the town, people, and many narrow streets with shops and history to get lost in and explore while enjoying your day!

The sign is across the street yet the house is not so hello after all ( it’s understandable cuz it’s been 100 years

Come here for the sake of saying you were here and it’s next to the train station but note that there’s only a sign here. There’s nothing remaining of the original yellow house

Unfortunately the Yellow House where Van Gogh used to live is no longer there. You can however imagine where the house was and line up the distant railway bridges with the painting. It is also close to a very nice cafe/restaurant - nice coffee. If you head across the grass towards the river you will find the Starry Night painting.

If you go expecting the Yellow house, unfortunately you won't find anything.

For Van Gogh fans. But the reality is very different from the painting: uninteresting sandstone building, with lots of traffic, electrical poles, and street signs.

👍👍 The park is charming. Did you know that Van Gogh painted 187 paintings in Arles. And there is no wonder why. The city is full of inspiration. Every street you walk, you get to feel more and more the spirit of this place. Do not miss out Van High’s paintings throughout the city where he painted them
