An old wooden structure based on the original bridge in an industrial area; you don't have to see it. If you have the opportunity, you should see the oil painting by Van Gogh e.g. in the Kröller-Müller Museum (Otterlo, The Netherlands).

Nice authentic bridge in Arles as how Van Gogh painted it. However at the time of our visit, there were three motorcycle wrecks lying beside the bridge. Probably pulled out of the canal, but should be tidied up.

We drove here from the downtown for about 10mins. Very peaceful. Tried to imagine Van gogh walking to come here and painting the bridge about 100 years ago. The bridge isn't the one actually he painted though.

Rode past here while doing the ViaRhona. There is a copy of VanGogh's painting to see how it appeared in his time (1888). The bridge has not changed since and it's nice to compare the then to the now. There is a more modern bridge next to it that many people take photos from. Worth a visit if you're in the area and an art buff.

It is the original place painted by Vincent Van Gogh. You can follow His traces all over Region, as you can find notice board s at many places he painted. So also in Tarascon, arrival of Stage Coach (Just at Theater at Southern Gate) or at Yellow House at Northern edge of Arles old City Well preserved, and well sign-posted, either by road and by ViaRhona bicycle Route. Also access by 3 Bus lines, I Just got No. 6 and 10. There is a beaufiful Graffiti Just near the Bridge. I added the Photo, as real fine Graffiti Art should be welcomed.

Very cute bridge, and a sign showing the painting of Van Gogh. Only wish there was a sign showing how it worked!

I walked to the bridge from the center of Arles. Lovely walk along a canal. So glad they kept Van Gough’s little bridge for us art lovers.

Worth a short visit if you know the painting. Not crowded.

👍👍 The park is charming. Did you know that Van Gogh painted 187 paintings in Arles. And there is no wonder why. The city is full of inspiration. Every street you walk, you get to feel more and more the spirit of this place. Do not miss out Van High’s paintings throughout the city where he painted them
