Okay, so the rooms might be in need of a little TLC, but I actually really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are basic (you get what you pay for) but I’m not here to spend all day in my bedroom! Considering it’s a budget hotel my room was really spacious, and I didn’t notice any issues regarding cleanliness. The towels are a bit ‘tired’ and could do with replacing, but other than that I was very impressed. Each day my room was cleaned, and fresh towels were left. My room was comfortable, and quiet. Although there’s a lot of construction work going on next door, I was never disturbed or woken by the work - and they’d often be onsite around 7am. Location is really good: less than a 10 minute walk from the train station (the city one, not the TGV station). 10 minutes to the Tourist Information Centre, and less than 20 minutes to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Avignon. All the restaurants are within the city walls - 5 minutes walk to the closest ones. Though if you’re desperate, you can have a pizza at the hotel. It’s a microwaved pizza, so nothing special, but it’ll do if you’re hungry. Breakfast was really good value for money: a great selection of continental style breakfast to choose from. All the staff I encountered were lovely too - very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again.

Good service, the location is really nice, close to the Main train station and to the city downtown, you can go by walk. The room was good enough and the bathroom and toilet were clean.

Good value for money and great location for sightseeing in and around Avignon. Room very clean, bed super comfy, air conditioning a blessing. Lovley big shower - very happy 😃

Clean and small rooms, free parking close by. Ideal place to stop to sleep and have shower and keep on enjoying other things. Fantastic service. Jeremy was very helpful at all times.

Good price for a convenient location - less than 10 minutes walk to the city center. Helpful team. Paid parking space available if necessary. Breakfast is convenient. Not the cleanest room though, and it was not cleaned while I was there (I asked for the room to be cleaned once during my stay, and left the door sign twice, all in vain).

Room was not very clean, the were hairs in the blankets. Room was noisy. Bed was for 6+ yr kids but ours is 5, so it felt a bit unsafe.

A good inexpensive hotel in the city center. Free parking nearby, which is a rarity in the city. The sheets seemed clean as well. And what else does a normal person need?

Just fine for what you can expect from a budget hotel. Staff is friendly, but do not ask them to call a taxi for you. For a 10-12 euro ride on the meter of an official taxi to the tgv train station, we paid 20 euro and even 30 euro another time. I suspect a kickback scheme of the staff and befriended drivers.

Good value for your money for a short stay. Service staff are very friendly and helpful. Bikes can be park safely in the back garden. Fresh croissants and baguette in the morning for breakfast. Max. Parking height in the area is 1.9m. We had to park in the parking lot located at the ferry wheel, which was cheap, first 4 hours free and from 17:00-9:00 is also free.

We stopped overnight here and quite frankly, it was very poor. Aircon was terrible, room was extremely basic and overall, it was a terrible overnight experience. I was genuinely jealous of my dogs overnight stay at the kennels. However, if you must stay overnight here, there is underground parking a short distance away St Charles Parking.

In the same location, there are 2 ibis. I went to the red one and was directed to the blue one. Before check-in, park your car in front of the red ibis and unload luggage as there isn't parking in front of blue ibis. Check-in was fast. No room key needed, use code instead. The hotel itself doesn't have parking. But the nearby roundabout has one free and one pay lot. Parking the car in the free lot is safe. Ibis is close to the wall, the pope's town. Enter the wall, walking 900 meter, there is the pape's palace, a main attraction. The King's Avignon is on the other side of the river that requires car access.

Excellent value for money. Room is basic but comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a good rest. We stayed in hotels/airbnbs in other cities in France that were 2 or 3 times the price but not as good as ibis. Did not feel cramped for 2 people. There is a stretch of road about 5 cars length to stop your car to unload luggage right in front of the hotel which was very helpful, and hotel has private parking for 10 euro a night in a nearby Carpark, while overnight Street parking nearby was 25 euro! Will look for other ibis hotels in the future, very good experience overall.

The best! They have a bagage storage for only 2 euro a day. Very niece pwople in the recepcion desk.

Correct price, you can park for free at walking distance of the hotel. Employees are great.

It's the typical ibis budget, the rooms are very basic, we didn't even have an hairdryer or a kettle. However, it has two big advantages compared to the standard ibis budget: 1) it's not in the middle of nowhere, but just outside the city centre, close to the railway station 2) The toilet is a real one!
