A little overrated in my opinion. The room or hotel is cute and authentic at first glance, but unfortunately not really clean. Even the baseboards were dusty. But the worst thing was that there was old chewing gum on the bed linen. It was too stupid for me to go to the reception again for just one night in the late evening. Definitely too expensive for what it offers. Unfortunately... you could make so much more out of it.

We stayed one night in the Hotel Central in Avignon and we had a whale of time. On our arrival at the hotel, we had our first drink on the magnificent patio as we were waiting for our room to get ready. The staff was really friendly and polite and even gave us some free snacks to nibble on while we were waiting. However, to be honest, the room wasn’t that great. Even though it was clean, it was roughly the same size as a doghouse. We even had to struggle where to put our luggage because there was so little space. Still, as we were only staying for one night it was okay. What really made this stay unforgettable was the time we spend in the city Avignon. I loved it right away with its beautiful old streets, the picturesque alleyways and the fact that the city was completely surrounded by the lofty walls of the fortress. We were even lucky enough to be there while the night shows were taking place. Nevertheless, I would advise you against this hotel if you were to stay for a longer period. If you only stick around for a few days, as we did, I think the Hotel is good enough.

Had a wonderful stay, the breakfast was very good and convenient, just a bit expensive. Our room was very nice, clean, modern, and very quiet. They had a laundry service for 20€ I believe and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Review for Family Room (Chambre #1). Can understand the smallness, but this room was incredibly humid and smelled of mildew. All the bedding was damp and remained so for our visit. The fan in the bathroom did not appear to work and there was mold in the shower. Mosquitoes throughout the courtyard so opening windows was an issue. Hotel service was fine and the breakfast was serviceable. The lower floor rooms can be loud at night as they overlook the courtyard cafe.

This hotel cancelled my reservation, which I made well in advance (5 months), over Christmas weekend... Less than a week from my stay. They told me it was because of covid and they would be closed for a week, yet offered no alternative and leaving me to try and find something else last minute when I was already in country with absolutely no other alternative. I am very disappointed in the customer service received and the lack of any other help in this matter. To slam your doors on someone on Christmas eve/weekend, offering zero help, is just a new kind of cruel. don't blame covid, you could have at least tried to find me accommodations to replace your cancellation

Very clean, but very bad service. (After i wrote this i found a pair of dirty socks under the tabel, and we left the hotel short after this.

The stuff is really nice, breakfast is good. Excellent location in the center of the city. But the room needs to be renovated also it smells like dust and the shower is connected to toilet it creates a lot of humidity all over the room. WiFi signal is weak, only could connect my phone, not a laptop.

-very small room -a horrible persistent sigarette smell in the room - dust and dirt everywhere and mosquitoes splashed on the walls and door -no elevator available -no working wifi -prices of a 3 stars Hotel and the conditions of a 1 star Hotel

Nice and clean rooms. Nice staff. Yet Airconditioner was not functional. We told the receptionist who promised it will get fixed. We went out when we came in the evening, it was extremely hot and the Airconditioner did not work. I told the receptionist on check out and all she could say that it should have been fixed. I understand that air conditioner can malfunction and it no one personal fault, yet the management should offer a form of compensation for such events if they do happen at the end of the day the money used to pay the stay had its full value.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Avignon, walking distance from the station. Quiet place. Nicely renovated room. Excellent breakfast! Lovely patio to have breakfast in the morning or to relax with a tasty cocktail in the afternoon / evening. Very friendly staff!

Very friendly hotel. Rooms are not big, but clean and relatively updated amenities.

We had a lovely comfortable stay here. We felt safe and secure, reception was always helpful whenever we needed. I would say one less star as the bathroom could’ve been a tiny bit cleaner. But nothing drastic, and nothing that put us off. Our room was nice and cool for our summer stay also. And great spot in the town. Thank you!

Great location and nice outdoor area. Rooms were basic and smelled a bit like smoke but good for the price!

Room 47, is located on the second floor in front of the building, yet no road noise or evening rockers to bother you. It's most likely one of the largest rooms because it is handicap accessible for wheelchairs right off the lift.

I have to say that it’s not really a perfect stay at this hotel. We were delightful that we got a room on the rooftop and it seems to be nice at the first glance. After we checkin the room and ready for our exploring in Avignon, we found the door can’t be locked successfully. We requested the lady in the reception for help and she couldn’t make it as well. Therefore, she told us that she will close the rooftop bar and only the guests on the rooftop can access. She assures us it will be fixed tomorrow. In the second day morning, we told the reception again and the other lady assured us that it will be fixed or they will help us changing the room. When we came back on the second day afternoon, the door still NOT FIXED. It just stuck inside the door side hole. The third lady tried to help us and seems that we have to make a huge force from the inside to close the room. However, we can’t close the door from outside. The lady explained it the problem of humidity. Though the hotel staff were all nice in helping us, I still want to point out that the following issues: 1. The security issue: We are two female travellers and the security is always our first concern. Sleeping in a room without lock, though they assure it’s safe in town, we still felt worried at night and can’t have a good sleep. It not only endanger our belongings but also our lives. Should the hotel put our lives in the first concerns? The lady closed the bar for us might be safe for certain hours, but it’s never told whether there will be other things happened. 2. It is said the door is fixed. However, the fixer might only use his force to push back the door. It’s not really fixed. Only looks like it’s fixed but not. Hope the hotel can take a more progressive action to solve this problem. 3. Last but not the least, there is no compensation after all this. We spent our money and time here but didn’t get a equal payback. That’s really a disappointment!

Even though check-in was late due to flight and train delays, they responded kindly. The staff is very kind, and the room is spacious and clean. The location is also close to the station. I highly recommend this accommodation!!

Location is nearby everything. However the room has one small window for natural ventilation and the bathroom has no privacy especially if you are staying on the first floor facing the hotel entrance yard. Service was fair but wasn't very helpful when we asked them about parking options.

Location of the hotel is perfect to visit the city. Hotel is clean, staff is nice. Sheets were clean and shower was modern, however only negative point is the killed mosquitoes on the wall not cleaned. Apart from that, very much recommended.
