Awful staying. Couldn't sleep the whole night because of the noise of the electric cables coming from the walls. Shower wouldn't drain, causing awful smell and flies all over the room. No facilities at all, barely toilet paper. Dirty and noisy, as if windows didn't exist at all.

Book only if desperate. The hotel needs a deep deep clean, and a bed bug de-infestation; our room had holes in its wall, which the management had “cleverly” tried to camouflage by placing furniture over them. The walls were paper thin and you could guess one’s neighbor TV show while at the same time guessing what temperature the neighbor’s AC is blasting at. It’s a hotel though; you have a room and a bed, and you can sleep there, among bed bugs.

I saw the bad reviews and just wanted to prove them wrong. Unfortunately the hotel did not give me any reason to give a high rating. With one handy man and a bucket of paint, tools etc. and some decent cleaning and maintenance the job would be done. For what it is, completely overpriced. One extra star for the location.

Cheap or not, I probably wouldn't have made the booking today. I am not sure if it was actually a hotel or also doubled as a dormitory? There was an odour of oil and garage in the corridors. Bedsheets seemed clean, but found black marks in one of the corners. The room itself was very basic - bed, table, closet and a zink. There were bedlights, but they appeared to only have a decorative function, cause despite close examination and trying every switch in the room I couldn't turn them on, leaving me with the overhead light and a light above the zink. The toilet in the corridor could use a proper cleaning. The shower was also in the corridor - on third, whereas I was staying on first, and there was only one shower, though I have no idea how many rooms we were sharing it. The two showers I had, I only had cold water, which I didn't expect on a hotel in Western Europe in 2018. And no lights in the shower cabin. At least I know where everything is. I will though give points for finding the bed quite comfortable, despite having wobbly legs. Location is central in Avignon - 2 min from the station and 5-8 min from the Palais des Papes. And I liked the staff who seemed smiling and friendly.

Central and for less than 60€ it is a good deal. The night I stayed there were no WIFI and the guy at the reception had no way to arrange it since he could not enter in the office. So I would not recommend it if you need WIFI otherwise it is okay. Not in its prime but quite reasonable. The rooms and small and clean even if a bit dated. The owner is here during the day and he definitively seems to care. The guy at night seems to care less since he did nothing for the WIFI but he was still sympatetic. If it were not for the lack of WIFI I would give it 3 stars.

Friendly staff, very close to city center at a dependable price. Terrace view across the park is a plus. Not great in the summer because there's no air conditioning and can be noisy if you have room next to elevator

I was satisified with the room. It was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was good. The pillow is a bit too big to sleep on and it's not perfectly insulated from noise but overall it was a great stay. The personnel was very friendly. Location is top.

I rated this based on what it offers: for a cheap hotel, it was very good. Much better than you would get for similarly priced hotels in the US. Helpful staff, fantastic location. The room was simple but fine. Everything you needed. Most importantly, given the bedbug epidemic in France - no bugs!

The hotel is in the city center and the caretaker is nice and helpful. But it is very dirty, old and untidy. Not recommend.
