Many good aspects and a few not-so-good. Good: - location (although a bit of a walk into town) - pool (although the gradient from shallow to deep is too steep and very dangerous) - breakfast - gardens - value, overall was good Not-so-good: - receptionist was quite rude to customers and not very friendly or welcoming - rooms were not very clean - room we had was generally not as nice as advertised - no fridge in the room to cool water. Reception seem to make up the cost for cold bottles based on their mood. 3euro per 50cl bottle was added to my bill. Overall, I would still probably recommend despite the negatives.

Great hotel! I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Avignon. It has a lovely setting with a great restaurant menu if you want to eat at the hotel. Pool is nice an big and the rooms are spacious with all the amenities.

Beautiful hotel and garden, very friendly staff and good location. The only downside is that it’s not a 4 stars hotel as advertised. There is no minifridge in the room and we did not even have bottled water in the room. The concierge could not recommend any tours/activities for our stay. I would in say it’s rather a 3 stars hotel in terms of services.

We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel. All in all it was a really nice stay we had. The hotel is beautifully located in Villeneuve, a far more beautiful part of Avignon than Avignon itself (btw you don't need to go there). 😉 The rooms were clean and flawless and had a (visually) old kind of interior charm. Only thing that could be improved or redone was the bathroom. It still was clean and everything at all times though! Pool area also was relaxing and calm. The exceptionally friendly and helpful staff was definitely a standout !! 👌 The only remark we have is, that it was all a little chaotic when it comes to the staff. At breakfast e.g. you always had to ask for something that was missing and they were a little all over the place in situations sometimes. 🙈 Also not every staff member was speaking English. We speak a little French but some guests struggled a little. But since we're all suffering from post corona staff shortages these are all small things at least we could overlook.

A truly marvelous hotel, the setting is magnificent with the most beautiful garden to relax in. Service was second to none by all of the staff with exceptional attention to detail. We would definitely stay there again. A magnificent hotel close to a beautiful village centre, yet far enough away to be in quiet paradise! Thank you to all of the staff Ian and Sally

This hotel is a little slice of paradise located in the charming village of Villeneuve. The city center is only a 10 minute walk, and has several nice épiceries and shops. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet (herbal fruit salad, bread and pastries, fresh cheese and yogurts, jams and honey, variety of juices and coffee, and an "English" selection of eggs, meats...) every morning on the terrace. The whole hotel has beautiful and rustic Mediterranean decor. Our room had a spacious patio complete with lounge chairs-- bring mosquito spray in summer! Garden and pool were also charming and relaxing. My only area for improvement is that the bed/pillows are not so comfortable, but we slept fine. Also you must uber/taxi if coming from the train station.

A lovely hotel, beautiful gardens, nice clean pool, good standard of service. The food was really good quality, albeit a limited menu. Staff friendly but aloof, one particular chap was however very attentive and kind, forgot the name but nice guy! For a 4* it feels like the paint is peeling a bit, just needs some closer attention to detail.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful hotel with lovely terrace and gardens. We stayed for five nights and didn't want to leave. Staff very professional and friendly, rooms clean. Short walk into Villeneuve for dinners and shopping.

It’s wonderful hotel imbued with the spirit of Provence and real 5-star service. I have not met such polite and responsive staff for a long time. The aesthetics of the hotel are captivating and you don’t want to say goodbye to it.
