The hotel is in a super great location to go exploring the old city of Avignon just walking distance. Outside the walls however just in front also next to the TGV train station. If you arrive by car you have parking, if you arrive by train the hotel is just meters away. The hotel is behind another building and however the entrance does not promise much after you make your way you’ll end in a nice interior park. You can park there also. The weather didn’t invited us to have breakfast outside but it is a possibility! After breakfast 10 minutes walk to the main gate of the walled city of Avignon. The breakfast is great for starting your day however not being luxurious. You will have a great night sleeping to recharge batteries (we arrived previous day after the trip directly from Paris) in calm, quite and nicely decorated and comfortable rooms. Our biggest surprise? The owner is a retired professional diver! As a family of (recreational divers) we loved this! And have a great time during breakfast talking about professional divers. Managed by his son I have to say that the hotel is run with diving precision and cleanliness and it’s owners and “crew” make you feel at home.

Secure parking in the cortyard is very good option if you arrive with car. This is the best thing about this hotel. Service was nice, friendly and quick. We got all the information about Avignon in the blink of the eye. And it was all accurate. Room was clean. There is lovely wiew of the courtyard from the balcony of the superior room. Bed was comfortable to sleep in but pillows where not nice, looked very old. I'm happy I had my own pillow with me. Some train noise late at the evening, but it did not bother us, as it only lasts for a second, if even that.We stayed in the superior room, but it was very small. The shower is so small that its really unbelievable! Breakfast was not a buffet, like on the foto, but served to table. Typically French with bread and butter and jam. Bread was not very good, but croissants where really very nice and fresh. Coffee was good and breakfast was not bad overall, but breakfast room was smelling wery strongly of cat urine, so it was not a good setting for eating. The price of this hotel is too high for what you get, but because of location and parking combined it's a good option if you are on the road trip. If you don't need parking, however, then stay someplace else!

Small family room, we were 4. Manageable but tight. Close to everything by foot so no need to drive. Convenient parking on site. Decent little continental breakfast.

Lovely! Upon arrival, June 10th, we received a warm greeting by the host. He immediately produced a map and gave us a briefing on Avignon and it's highlights. All in a short walking distance. We had the roof top room 11, it was so cosy and comfortable. The breakfast had a delicious selection of treats and together with a coffee, we started the day in a beautiful garden. And by the way, parking is also available. Wow, how lucky can you get!

Overall a good stay. However unprofessional behaviour on behalf of the male receptionist. My friend and I both 21 stayed together at this hotel. The receptionist was informative upon arrival and helpful. However on day 2 of our stay I received a message from him on my personal number asking me out on a date for drinks and food. This was completely inappropriate as he obtained my personal information from the business which should be confidential. Additionally he seems much older than me by at least 15+ years. I felt very uncomfortable and did not reply to the message. Later on in the day he then proceeded to message me on WhatsApp asking me if I had received his first message and then asking if my friend was free to go out with him. We felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe and had to resort to using a portable door lock for our room to sleep at night as we were scared he might come in. Additionally our room was very dirty when we first checked in. The throw pillows and seat cushions were so dusty and visibility stained, the towels and linen were very old and we only had half a roll of toilet paper which was stamped to make it look like it was a new one. The body wash bottle they provided was half used by the person before us. The positives included great location and great breakfast, the older man serving breakfast was pleasant and very sweet.

I would stay here again if I had the chance to visit Avignon again. Great location right outside the old city walls. They have a parking lot which is great if you're traveling with a car because the city is a good base to make day trips to other regions of Provence. Included with the room was a nice cold breakfast. The staff were very friendly and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the area.

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of the town center. Very clean and modern inside.. Parking free to Residents. Varied buffet breakfast. Very comfortable bedroom, best to stay facing the Courtyard, and not the nearby (150m) rail line.. Only 2-3 trains passed during the night which I can remember... The hotel has some Apartments adjoining for longer stays and families.

5 minute walk to the walls of old Avignon and Gare d'Avignon. Rooms are large. Shower water may leak out. Good service. There's parking and also a shared outdoor patio. The best part is the free buffet breakfast, which is excellent with a variety of food to choose from.

Conveniently situated to stroll into Avignon. Studio Chocolat has a comfortable mattress but the rooms also have a bad smell, especially the bathroom. Maybe the other rooms are better but you should proceed with caution

Loved it here. Very welcoming, friendly owners. Staff speak English. Lovely breakfast in the courtyard. Just a few minutes walk from the walled city which has plenty to see and do. Highly recommend!
