We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Location can’t be beat. We had a view of the palais from our room. The room was clean and comfortable. Large bathroom, large fluffy towels. Only complaint is that it was quite loud on our side of the building at night and early in the morning, but it only added to the lively atmosphere. I would confidently recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Avignon.

I definitely loved this place, especially my room number 1bis, a mazing, so beautiful... We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel, both service and food were very nice I wished I would have stay an extra night! everything was according for us to get a great experience and a awesome stay, I'll recommend.

I used the restaurant and it was really nice. Honest food, good service and great location for a quick meal while visiting the area.

I wouldn't stay here again. The location was great. Right by the Papal palace and their outdoor dining areas were great. The rooms were pretty standard. No complaints but nothing special. My issue was the breakfast. Ten Euros for a croissant and cafe au lait and an orange juice. There was a small fruit salad too. All sugar. No protein. No eggs, no ham... Just sugar. The service was bad too with the waitress just taking forever to bring the fruit salad and no refills of the cafe au lait. Honestly I think we were the only family actually staying at the hotel (as there was only one table set for breakfast when we came down to eat in the morning). Sorry to say it but I would not stay there again. That breakfast experience was just that lame.

ABSOLUTLY TO AVOID!!!! In this hotel they don't respect anything. They don't respect the hygiene measures at all.At breakfast they gave us dirty dishes, the waiter brought us 4 glasses(after 30minutes of waiting the water)by holding one finger in each of our glasses. To arrive at the terrase where they serve breakfast, the guests pass trough the kitchen. They do not respect that in a double room you are not aloud to put more then 2 people and even if we told them we are 3 when we called to book the room,we arrived there and the surprise was big, when we had the smalles room ever. When the elevater didn't worked and I went to the stairs to the 3rd floor,I thought it is normal to tell at the reception, just to check the elevater. And if you dare to complain to the lady at the reception ,who is the owner of the hotel, you will have the surprise to see her completly going crazy, screaming and beeing very agresivly verbal, telling you that she will call the police and throw you away of her hotel, because she has the power there and that she doesn't want to hear you complaining about anything anymore. This lady is so unpolite and has the worst attitude you could ever imagine with the tourists.I read some other reviews too and aparently it's not unusual for her to scream and agress verbaly her clients and then to scream that she calls the police.just because I didn't played her game and I was not screaming back, because it was obviously she is mental disturbed, she was screaming that I don't say anything anymore because I'm afraid of the police. It's unbelievably that she is aloud to keep this hotel open for tourists, behaving like a psihopat and without respecting a lot of basic things.for 3 days we had the right to have just 2 small bottles of showergel for 3 people, one toiletpaper and the bedloundry had holes in it and the room was smelling from the canalisation. I'm a frecvent travler, normally I don't complain for small things at all,I just enjoy my holidays, but this experience was so low and the owner of this hotel so unrespectfull and unprofessional, that I had to share it.ABSOLUTLY TO AVOID!

This hotel is exactly what we wanted. It is not fancy or expensive, but it is clean, the rooms are small but nicely fitted with nice tile and a few elegant touches, and the location could not possibly be better! It has charm with internal stone walls and exposed wood beams, an elevator if you need one, and the view from our window is of the front of the Palais des Papes. You could fall out the window onto the square in front of the Palais! We can walk to the clock square and to virtually every restaurant, not to mention the Pont of Avignon and there's literally ice cream and multiple restaurants within yards of the front entrance. I really like this hotel. But you should not judge it by the entrance or the reception desk. The doors are plastered with unnecessary stickers, and the reception area decor made me think we were entering a brothel!

Right in the town centre outside le Palais des papes. Great location. Lots of things to do and see nearby. Very friendly hotel staff. Very clean room with towels and soaps/ shampoo. Hairdryer in the room too. Would highly recommend.

Directly in front of the Palais des Papes. Easy to reach by car. The parking area is under the place in front of the Palais. We had a big room with view to the Palais. But the water pressure in the shower was not good. The staff was nice and friendly.

Very bad breakfast experience: dripping roof, disgusting table sets, old and hard bread, no orange juice, dirty cutlery, expired yogurt, part of the menu not served. Nice lication but generally very disappointing!

I don't care about anything else but the air conditioning and there is absolutely none. It is impossible to sleep when there is no air conditioning. Nobody likes to sweat when they are trying to sleep. And I'm not gonna open the window cause then it will smell like cigarettes. Someone PLEASE fix the air conditioning.

Amazing location -- when you exit the front door, you are in the square of the Palais des papes. We picked this hotel for its location and convenience, but was pleasantly surprised by a very friendly staff and a charming room! The hotel felt historic which was beautiful, but it also came with an important modern amenity — air conditioning! We were thoroughly happy with our stay. Thank you!
