(Translated by Google) Spending our holidays for years around Avignon, we knew this address without ever having had the opportunity to take advantage of the place and the infrastructures offered. It was the name change with La Vie est Belle and the arrival of the friendly bakery that led us to take the plunge. 3 pools (50, saltire, children), lush vegetation, a friendly catering proposal and reassuring MNS surveillance in a rejuvenated, refreshed place: this is the setting that is offered to spend a beautiful day with the family with deckchairs and umbrellas at the edge some water. We were afraid of frequentation, but ultimately the place is large and everyone finds their place. To try ... And when you leave, there is a beautiful view of the Palais des Papes! A tenter... Et en sortant, très belle vue sur le Palais des Papes!

We had a great day at la Palmeraie. We paid 40 euros for a family of four including sunbeds and a parasol - the pool is beautifully clear and if you get there early (11am) it was practically empty, started filling up from 3pm. Food is ok, no food allowed to bring in, but fine. Gents - make sure you have appropriate trunks (no shorts or board shorts)!

When it’s hot in Avignon you can get some fresh air and water for 10€. Also fries are delicious !

Had mixed experience. The pool is beautiful with a lot of open area to lay in the sun. The main pool is great. Diving pool and splash pools are good too. However, even in 90 degree Fahrenheit weather the water was extremely cold. I could only muster up enough courage to jump in once. Also, they made me buy speedo style swimming trunks before letting me in. They told me the shorts I had with me are unhygienic. I asked them why is that? They told me because some people wear those kind of shorts all day long and then come to swim. Fair point but I had just changed into my shorts and I pointed that out but they wouldn't budge. So I asked them, I could wear speedo style trunks all day long under my jeans and come for a swim, how would they figure out that I wore them all day long? They had no answer...

(Translated by Google) Expensive entry. We wanted to take a deckchair during the day. My buddy went to pick up two vacant ones. A customer was offended that we only paid after and not as soon as we entered. He went to "report" us to the beach attendant who was happy to come and remove the deckchairs even though we had paid for them. Customers and staff. Not one to catch up with the other. In short… we pass 🤣 (Original) Entrée onéreuse. Bref…on passe 🤣

(Translated by Google) Nice place, nice setting. The staff is friendly and very welcoming, right from the security entrance. Admission at €12 + €5 for deckchair per person + €3 for the parasol. 2.5€ for a small bottle of water in the pool snack bar. The bakery makes good pies with peppers (7.5€) (Original) Bel endroit, beau cadre.

Nice pool, was pretty empty until 3pm. Was a nice way to cool off in a very hot day. Kids loved it. Not cheap but worth the price.

Warning - men and boys mandated to wear tight swimming trunks for no good reason at all. Even by admission of the pool staff, this is a stupid rule. Makes no sense at all and was told after entry. My husband and 3 year old son had to buy swimming trunks from the shop. It was a real shame because it was a nice pool and setup otherwise.

Wonderful 50 meters pool and pool compound. Wonderful site with splendid trees in the island in front of Avignon Pope's Palace. They have a two hours schedule and low prices for swimmers. The food is good

Read the other reviews and also check tripadvisor. We had a similar experience. ‘Hygienic’ (pretentious and illogical), ‘relaxing’ (empty because people do not visit twice). There is a long list of rules and many of them seem designed to trap visitors into spending extra money. Why does Avignon tourism tolerate this place leaving a poor impression on visitors?

The staff and lifeguard all extremely friendly. I came to this pool for diving specifically, so this is the review. There is a 3m springboard and a 5m platform. The 3m springboard is very old, painted multiple layers and the fulcrum locked at #1. The 5m platform has some fencing blockage to prevent "running" so cannot do a traditional approach, but enough room for a single skip jump. The staff all very welcoming for traditional dives, forward, back, twisting, even some inward dives. Good to come for some mess around but not for practice. Rest of the facility looked very nice also but I didn't use outside of the diving area.

Good pool, but expensive and messy shower facilities. Also they close at 18h30 not 19… so feels I got cheated, paying €7 (to arrive after 17h and then be told at 18h30 they are closing).

Lovely pool however be warned men must wear Speedo’s to enter the pool! They didn’t make us aware of this at all until we paid and entered the pool. They then forced my fiancé to get out due to his shorts. It was 35 degree heat and he had to sit in the shade as he was unable to swim while I enjoyed the amenities. If they had told us on arrival we would have saved money and gone back!

😠 We ordered 3 drinks, wine, water and 3 deserts. They just told us they wouldn’t do that for us except if we also paid for an entire meal. This place is located in the center of Palais des Pâpes, don’t expect to get a drink here, not even a desert. Unless if you’re planning to also buy their ridiculo...

🫤 The prices are excessive, and not consistent with the quality of the products. Not mediocre but very average. Home to see again. Ps: when we want to drink coffee, we go to a café, when we want to eat pizza we go to a pizzeria. Each his trade..
