We had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at le Clos Saluces a wonderful 5 star guest house located in the old town of Avignon. The guest house a perfect balance of style and warmth is owned by a lovely couple Jacques and Benoit, who upon opening us the front door welcomed us into their home. A renovated house built in the 1860's with an interior courtyard/garden where we enjoyed breakfast as well as aperitif. Our bedroom the 'Jasmin' one of three bedrooms was beautifully appointed with a view over the garden, air conditioning and a flat screen TV and an attention to detail and comfort. We look forward to staying there again. Thank you

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Jacques and Benoit are amazing hosts. The welcome was though and efficient. They are both delightful and helpful and willing to assist with everything and anything. Always willing to provide ideas on where to go, what to do, what to see, and how to get places. Breakfast each morning was a delight, always something home made on offer as well as a hearty continental breakfast. Fresh fruit, fresh crusty baguettes, home made jams and more. The rooms were amazing, the bathrooms immaculate and the bed like a cloud. The garden a quaint paradise away from the heat and hustle and bustle of the town centre. 6 days here didn't feel like enough, and I didn't want to leave. Through the stress of travel, these two amazing men always put a smile on my face. Cannot wait to come back. ❤️

I had the pleasure of staying at Le Clos Saluces this past week, well located within historical Avignon. From check in, I knew I was in very good hands. Benoît & Jacques are exceptional hosts & it was an honour to spend the week in their beautiful home, which they’ve designed & restored with the finest of taste & unwavering attention to detail, creating an escape to paradise. Always making me feel welcome & helping with day tour & dinner suggestions, they’re attention was greatly appreciated. Thanks again, I’ll most definitely be back!

We stayed at Le Clos Saluces for two nights in late August 2023. We were blown away by the beauty of this property and the hospitality from Benoit and Jacques. Le Clos Saluces, located centrally in historic Avignon, is a haven amidst the tightly packed town. Very romantic for couples!

Le Clos Saluces is exceptional. Benoit and Jack are exceptional and provided us great suggestions for touring and dinners. They have lovingly and perfectly restored this manor home. It is one of - if not the - best BnB's we've experienced. The decor is lovely, grand yet comfortable and not cluttered. The shaded gardens are beautiful and perfect for an afternoon rest or aperitif - you would never know you're in a city. The continental breakfast includes fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurts, croissants, and Benoit's sublime fresh-baked treat; the chocolate chip muffins are nothing like you'd get in America! Quiet neighborhood and just a few minutes' walk to just about anywhere. We rented a car and easily parked at the Palais des Papes parking garage just inside the walls (it was May, so plenty of parking there). Provence has many wonderful places, and Le Clos Saluces is the cherry on top! We hope to be back again!

Myself and my daughter stayed at this beautiful B&B in April 2019. Excellent choice. The hosts Benoit and Jacques are very helpful with great tips on restaurants and how to get to places to see. Absolutely adore the big, spacious rooms and breakfast. Not to forget the breathtaking gardens at the property. Highly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful gem of a place. Benoit and Jacques have created a small oasis. It is clean, stylish and peaceful. But the best thing there are the two hosts. I am certain we'll be returning there in the years to come.

This was truly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in. Made to feel so welcome by Benoit and Jacques, nothing was too much trouble for them, we were guided around Avignon with excellent suggestions for restaurants and tours to make. The decor of the maison makes the whole experience perfect.. Sadly we live too far away to make this our regular haunt

This B and B is truly a hidden gem. It's the kind of place for the perfect long weekend escape from reality or, if you can, even longer. I was only able to stay 2 nights and I regret was not planning a longer stay. The hosts are helpful and genuinely kind, they also serve a delicious fresh breakfast. My bedroom was clean, crisp, and looked out over the gorgeous gardens. The decor of each and every space in the entire home is full of taste and historical charm. I will be back!

Gracious hosts, Benoit and Jacques, made our stay in Avignon the highlight of our trip to France. They helped orient us to the city; served excellent breakfasts, which included a different, delicious homemade pastry each day, along with fruit salad, croissants, fresh orange juice and other items; and in every respect went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our beautifully appointed room was spacious and impeccably clean. In sum, Les Close Saluces is THE place to stay in Avignon!

From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew we were in good hands with Benoit and Jacques! What an absolutely immaculate and beautiful place. We were in France for two weeks and the two nights we spent at Le Clos Saluces were our favorite. The room was perfection and quiet. Each morning we were served a continental breakfast with homemade baked food. You are truly cared for by Benoit and Jacques!! I highly recommend this gorgeous "home" and we hope to someday return. Thank you Benoit and Jacques!

This B&B is absolutely charming! Benoit and Jacque are such welcoming hosts and have thought of every detail for a fabulous stay. Breakfast in either the dining room or serene garden court included delicious lattes, fresh juices, homemade pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurt and cereals. The hosts are friendly and helpful in offering excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do. The location was quiet yet a short fun walk through the quaint streets of Avignon to dining and sights. So hope we are able to return for another stay! Merci to Benoit and Jacque!

This is an absolutely amazing place to stay, with beautiful interiors and a stunning walled garden. Benoit and Jacques were the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were superb too! A fantastic experience from start to finish – highly recommended.

This is a beautifully appointed and comfortable place in the heart of Avignon. The hosts cannot do enough for you. The breakfasts are divine. The decor is right out of an article on Provence in Architectural Digest. I don’t believe you could possibly do better anywhere else. Of course, you must book months in advance.

We had an amazing time at Le Clos Saluces and didn't want to leave. The house is so beautiful, nicely renovated and decorated. You can feel that the hosts put a lot of attention to details. The room was clean, spacious and absolutely beautiful. The garden is lovely to sit in. The breakfast is delicious with fresh local products, homemade jam and everyday new pastries made by Benoit in the morning. The absolute highlight are the hosts Benoit and Jacques. Both are so friendly, welcoming, funny and they make sure you have everything you need (Incl. restaurant recommendations and reservations). We miss having them around already. Thank you for the unforgettable stay. It was a pleasure to meet you and we will definitely come again when we are In Avignon. Merci!!
