First, I hope my shopping experience was an isolated incidence not a habit. When a customer walks in a store, offering a greeting to him/her from a salesperson is a welcoming and necessary gesture. But when I walked into this store and I was the sole customer but the salesperson kept chitchatting on the phone and our very first interaction was five minutes after walking in as she hung up the phone. That was a bit upsetting. Amongst other signs, chocolate (un)freshness can be sensed from the nut chocolate. When the nut loses its crunch or becomes rancid, the is ominous. The pistachio one I bought was a bit soggy and obviously rancid. The non-nut chocolates were alright but not spectacularly tasty.

These chocolates are not good they are exceptional and exceptional products you must expect to pay a little more for than just good products. Well worth a visit - be indulgent and treat yourself!

Nothing to say about the shop itself, rather pretty and pleasant in fact, nor about the friendly and professional welcome... no, but the chocolates on the other hand... Given that my usual suppliers (Joël Durand in St Rémy de Provence or Hawecker in Chateaurenard) were unable to supply for various reasons (Covid, the Christmas rush, etc...) I said to myself why not try other chocolatiers in the area. After heading towards Aline Géhant (another Avignon chocolatier) and the sight of a queue of around ten people immediately discouraged me, I decided to test Puyricard Chocolate. So I took a 375g box of assorted items for €38 (I think). Total disappointment...too sweet, random taste, whether black or milk (apparently Valrhona according to the saleswoman...even if strangely it is not mentioned anywhere in the store), at no time do you say to yourself " hmmm you can feel it when it’s artisanal anyway!!” I should have picked up a box of Lindt in a supermarket...it's not that great but at least it's not expensive. In short, run away! Unless you have no palate, in which case go for it, the packaging was pretty!

Hum!! What a welcome ! The manager is smiling and very attentive, super professional. We thought we were going into a jewelry store as the presentation of the products is magnificent and neat. Everything is tempting and just waiting to be tasted. A great time spent in this shop. Very good advice and explanations on working with chocolate. Thank you so much. Fred and Martine.

Renowned chocolates that are always a pleasure to be offered! Certainly the price is not cheap but it is an artisanal chocolate factory and the quality will always be there! I come back from time to time for my sin of absolutely delicious beggars

Chocolates that we won't forget! I'm used to tasting chocolates in the biggest Chocolatier boutiques, and Maison Puyricard has its place there. For me, it is one of the best chocolatiers in Avignon. A must-see address!

Good morning Your chocolates are delicious and there is nothing to complain about these candies. On the other hand, regarding the welcome we received in your Prado store in Marseille, everything needs to be reviewed, the saleswomen are unpleasant and even aggressive. We spent €250, we were not offered to taste a piece of candy, we were neither told Hello when arriving nor Goodbye when leaving. Sincerely Alan

😠 The store “closes these doors at 7:30 p.m.” and the security guard does not allow entry at 7:10 p.m., scandalous. Especially when you cross the whole city to come, you have to change the times and not put 7:30 p.m.

Always ready to help, open to discussion and above all they know their products they know what they are talking about. Customer service is a 10/10. A must in Avignon, do not hesitate...

👍 Wonderful service and very friendly! My only negative is that after discovering other places I realised that their honey was extremely over priced. Otherwise it’s really a lovely place with excellent service!
