This was a cozy little place with great cheese and charcuterie. The owner was so nice and passionate about his craft. Will be back!

Definitely a nice place to chill with good wine and cold cuts and cheese.. Pleasantly surprised with the wines served and always welcome a little cheeky running around.

A newly opened wine bar, with a great variety of french wines. Very comforting service and great recommendations. The perfect place for a casual evening in Avignon. Try the rosé "Gourmandise" and the Châteauneuf-du-Pape "Mont Redon"! And if you're lucky, the owner will tell you anecdotes from his acting career.

I like this place ! Laura our waitress was lovely, the boss too. The wines are wonderful and they allow you to choose with tastings, the saucisson ´ à la truffe ´ is WOW, at 11€ it’s accessible and perfect. The small cheese platter is small…but otherwise highly recommend !!

Great place to explore wine from Rhone. Patrice has a nice establishment and runs it with his partner in crime a French bulldog named chickee. Thank you Patrice.

Nice wine bar in the centre of Avignon. They don't have a wine list per se but select a glass/bottle based on your preferences. This can put a few people off, but it works and it keeps the selections fresh. Service was strained at times, but that reflected the volume of customer arrivals which seemed to occur all at the same time (everybody must have had the same idea for a few drinks). The planche mixte was very good indeed and their terrine au poulet is sensational (I normally dislike terrines but this has opened my eyes). Would happily return.

Patrice is the consummate host. A friendly face with a hell of a lot of wine that he can’t wait to share with you. My stay in Avignon was bookended by two trips to Patrice’s Palace of Vin. Get into some meat n cheese as old world bottles flow into bubbly new and exciting pet nats. If you like wines and good times…go to TAPIS ROUGE. Oh and he has a sweet dog!

We stopped by for a glass of wine. We stayed for two. And if it hadn't been for the fact we already booked a table elsewhere we would have stayed for some food and more wine. We're already planning to come back for that bruscetta I saw there.

This was a very nice and cozy place. The wait staff was super friendly. They had a huge selection of wine and their beer was nice and cold. They had a good selection of cheeses and meats to snack on. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a small and cozy place with some character to relax and have a drink.

For exceptional wine experience in France, in Avignon, this is a place to be. Prices are very reasonable, you can have a glass of nice wine for 7-9 EUR.

Excellent wine bar, with a focus on Rhone varieties. Very friendly staff who will simply provide some options and samples to find you a glass that'll suit you.

The atmosphere is great here and the wines just as good. Patrice made some great recommendations and the cheese to match was delicious. Highly recommend a visit to this rare gem of a wine bar
