Overpriced, mediocre food and awful service. The food is not good and when you don’t eat it and complain, they pretend not to understand you. Service is terrible.

My Niçoise Salad was pretty good, as was my wife’s pasta. Service, however, was not good. We asked for bread twice and never got it. The waiter said “yes” to our requests, then ignored them. Our friend’s tuna, was not very good, small and dry. The waiter never came by to ask if we needed anything or how we liked our food (and two of us speak good French). We waited a while after we asked for our check, too. There are lots of better options in Avignon.

Fantastic food, poor service. They put ice cubes into orange juice (which we specifically requested to refrain from) and when claimed, the waiter poured the glass with water to make it look full. Then brought the juice in terribly dirty glasses. Fortunately another waiter (an energetic and speaking well English girl) manage this properly at the end. Merci!

This restaurant is a tourist trap. You pay over 15€ a meal for microwaved food, that is being sold as ”home made“ and tasted terrible. The bottles are extremely dirty and all drinks are mixed up with water. The waiters are unfriendly and it seems like hygiene is not needed here. It’s disgusting. To be honest, this was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in.

Now I know why people commented this whole street is a tourist trap. I ordered mussel pot yesterday and dined in alone, when my mussel came it’s flavourless and didn’t taste great. THE WORST part was I found there are 10+ flies and also bees all over and ON MY FOOD, which is absolutely disgusting… complained to the waitstaff I couldn’t continue eating, flies were literally on my food! Eventually paid the bill in full and left without finishing it. My upmost disappointed meal in this trip.

I think the low ratings for this restaurant are very undeserved. We were staying on the Place de l'Horloge and we liked this brasserie so much, we ate there twice. The staff was friendly, including our "singing waiter" the first night. The greeter by the menu board remembered us when we came back two nights later. The setting in the middle of the square was great, across from the Hotel de Ville. It was a nice place to relax and sit while having dinner. Our first night, my wife and I both had the Royal Paella which was fantastic - and reasonably priced! On our second visit, my wife ordered the "large" Orangina soda. Be advised, large - which is labeled on the receipt as "formidable" and clocks in at 12EUR! - is LARGE. I had the escargot which were average - not the best I have had in France, but good - and the tagliatelle bolognaise, which I really enjoyed. My advice is to ignore the low ratings and give this brasserie a shot if you see something on the menu you like!

Don't eat here. Dont where a guy tries to guilt trip you into eating, my elderly parents felt for it and I could not talk them out of it. Paella is reheated frozen stuff from the supermarket, mussles are okay at the very best. Huge disappointment. At least we were not the only ones, two large families shared the misery with us. Whole street seems to be like that.

We went there for lunch today after the chef kindly informed us about the dishes without being pushy. The food came very quickly and was very tasty! The paella was with fresh seafood and the fish from the daily menu was also very well prepared. Overall, the cost of the food was reasonable and you also got fresh and delicious baguette and water. All in all, the restaurant was very good and a nice change in Corona times.

Very poor food quality, table cloths filthy. Paid for meal but did not eat. Service also terrible.

Starting with advanteges - we have tried salads and moules. Food was apparently fresh as caused no stomach upset. However all dishes were entirely lacking the taste, subtlety, beauty of French cuisine. Spicy and greasy roasted potatoes do not match moules well. Moules perhaps need more wine, garlic, etc. to have more aroma. Salad needs some good dressing etc. etc. And last but not the least, waiter should not scratch under armpits while standing by. In summary - not this quality food and service, in such a place, for such a prize. 3☆ as I think that this place still has some potential...

I took black rice paella and there was plastic tags for the clothes. I told the waiter and he said "incroyable" with no appoligies and he threw the tag without even informing the kitchen.
