Having been to many Michelin star restaurants I would rate Le Restaurant at La Mirande as one of the best one star Michelin restaurants that I have been to & would happily go back there. Had the set menu worth 150 a head and it was amazing with amazing top notch service Can’t fault the place ! A solid 9/10 Budget- expect to pay 200 € a head with 1 glass of champagne each ..! So it’s quite expensive but if you are a foodie and love expensive restaurants then it’s a great option

this the best lunch ive ever had in my life... truly. the atmosphere and the views are beautiful and added to the whole experience. everything seemed perfect and carefully thought out in this restaurant. the dishes were very experimental; many of the ingredients there was something we have never tried in our lives. But we enjoyed it so much regardless. the staffs were very knowledgeable in their field and were very polite and almost playful with us. we felt that they all had a certain charm to them. we were introduced to the dishes and were given information on their quality and origin before eating. i think it made for a more memorable experience. i do recommend the wine pairing as it fit so perfectly, but there is a non- alcoholic version as well. the non- alcoholic drinks are much more interesting to me; it's usually made from the main ingredient on the dish its paired with( for example: cucumber beer?). the drinks were extremely clever but the wine was obviously lovely as well. overall, hands down definitely lives up to the michelin star (and dare i say maybe even two?). we had a lovely time here:)

There are two restaurants within the La Mirande hotel...we elected to eat at the more "casual" La Salle a Manger (versus the Michelin starred Le Restaurant). The deco is warm yet elegant, done in a 18th century style. For dinner, the menu is not extensive but they were able to accommodate us by adding a salad (which was not on the menu) and adjust the risotto to suite our tastes. Overall the good is excellent with very attentive and considerate service...all members of the team made sure our visit was absolutely enjoyable. Following the main course, we asked to have dessert in main atrium area which, in one part at least, has a wood burning fireplace...an excellent experience for a cold December wintery day. If you have the chance, visit La Mirande while you are in Avignon.

Definitely a good Michelin experience. Hotel is right next to Pope Palace. The lunch set menu is well worth the price with nice presentation and taste.

Amazing restaurant: the place is beautiful, the food is creative, the service was exceptional. Only complain is that it is very expensive.

I spent 2 months traveling around France and this meal was a definite highlight. The atmosphere and service deserves at least a 10/5 🌟. Such an incredible yet intimate and private dining experience. The setting of the table makes it easy to socialize and meet other diners. The entire night is curated so gracefully and the chef truly enjoys what he does.

Everything was amazing. They had many little amuse bouchées which was amazing because i personally love them and the food was so nice. They also brought us to the kitchen, and when they did, gave us little things to sample and the sweetbread inside the rye bread was surprising and nice.

Very cozy atmosphere. Elegant and great location. Impeccable service. The food wasnt quite to the standard you’d expect for that price point. Some of the ingredients were over cooked. Others were slightly underdone. One of the appetisers was warm on the outside and cold outside. The focaccia was like a porra.

Exceptional experience at the Chef’s Table. Three course Cod, duck, and fresh fruit dessert were exceptional. Highly recommend!

Had a great private meal with the chef and staff. Memories for sure! Great flavors, but too much to list here.

We did not stay at the hotel, but had dinner at the restaurant. While the food was generally excellent (pigeon was phenomenal, while desserts were 1-dimensional and overly sweet), the service left much to be desired. For instance, I had rhubarb thrown all over my sweater and pants, which is excusable as we are all human, but the server didn't even tell me! Luckily I realized and quickly cleaned the sauce before it soaked through my sweater, but had I been wearing anything but black I would've demanded to be compensated. I expected to at least have something said to me, but the server was young and this was at least the second stumble of the night, as one group left angrily after waiting over an hour for cheese. I doubt he wanted to lose his job. Ultimately, if the atmosphere is stuffy and posh, as it is (which was expected), then everything must be perfect. Our experience was far from that.

Beautiful space. Sat in the garden at the foot of palais des papes. Food was gorgeous and I enjoyed the use of local ingredients ... approach is to provide 3 or 4 components for a dish and you bring them together or eat one after the others. Reflect the training of the chef. Staff was on the younger side ... professional enough. Tasting menu only during week ends. À la carts available at lunch during the week.

Absolutely stunning location! Excellent service with the upmost professionalism. Even if you do not stay for a night, definitely take advantage of the delicious cuisine. They have a calendar of events that offer authentic Chef's table experiences, a must do for really enjoying Avignon

Beats me why this isn't a two star. Truly the most exquisite meal we've had in France. Don't believe anyone who tells you that the French can't cook anymore. Really outstanding.
