Chef Jonathan’s cooking course was awesome but I am still waiting for the email with the recipes which he promised us!

An amazing chef and incredibly attentive service. The service is 5 stars had the Foi gras and the salmon entree. Could be the best I’ve ever had.

Everything about this place is remarkable, if you are in Avignon and want to have a meal that you will remember for a very long time, this will be the place. We were travelling from Nimês to the Verdon and decided to do a quick lunch stop in Avignon. We ended up find this restaurant during our wondering around the market. We liked so much the wait everything was setup that we decided to give a go, and I don’t regret a minute. The food is flawless, cook with perfection and flavoured to the right point. I must say their onion bread is to die for, so fresh and so much flavour, I could eat just that break the whole day. The chef is one of the best, very friendly and easy to chat with. He does everything on the restaurant, super multi-task, he takes your order, he will serve your drinks, he will chat with you About the dishes and obviously, he will prepare the dishes. I will come back for lunch next time I am in Avignon.

If you find yourself in Avignon and would like an unforgettable experience, take a cooking class with Chef Jonathon! First we walked through the market to taste the amazing fresh foods from the region where he will introduce you like a friend to the locals. You then go back to his family's market Restaurant and he teaches you to cook several truly amazing dishes which you then get to eat for lunch right there. The olive tapenade on fresh cherry tomatoes was an emotional experience for me! This was my favourite day of the two weeks I spent in France.

Delicious meal, friendly staff. I am used to michelin starred restaurants and in a few I've eaten less tasty food than here. Bravo 👏

My wife, 15 year old daughter, and I attended a cooking class with Chef Jonathon and it was an unforgettable experience. Our shared American roots made an instant connection but it is clear from his banter with the other vendors in the Market that, after nearly 20 years here, he is a local icon in his own right as well. His instruction, knowledge of flavors and ingredients, and teaching methods for preparing stunning dishes was all expertly carried out. We were fortunate to join a class with a group of wine journalists from New York City. You know something is going right when the New York Times sends their writers to you. Wanting the full experience, we returned the next day to eat lunch as well. Make a reservation, you don't want to leave Avignon without a meal from him!

Four of us took the Cuisine Centr'Halles cooking class today...it was a complete delight. Shopping at the market was great fun, the class was educational and thoroughly enjoyable and the food was delicious. The chef, John, does a wonderful job making the entire experience memorable.

Amazing food. We took a class at the restaurant and hired chef Jonathan to come to our house for a cooking class and dinner. The duck was so good, I'm still thinking about. Thanks to the chef for putting up with all of us.

Food is unreal, and very reasonably priced. Some of the best Escargots I've ever had. Also very friendly team who run this place, and a very fun setup if you end up chatting to neighbours at lunch!

I took the class Oct 18th. Learned many things and enjoyed the meal. But, still waiting for the promised recipes.
