Nice attractions, but many negative points : very long queues, lack of professionalism to greet groups, very little shade, burning-hot synthetic grass on the ground. Would recommend for small groups of teens, but not for children too young.

Big and nice park for all ages! Do not forget sun protecting cream on a sunny day as easy to burn your skin while waiting in long queues. I would recommend take splash-pass for children so they can enjoy all slides they like. Own food is not allowed on the park territory but own bottles of water were permitted. Sun lounges are for free but mostly occupied in the beginning of a day, we found free places only on the sand beach far away from the entrance. Friendly staff, good security. At the end of the day take care of paying for parking! There ate two machines, not accepting maestro cards and cash less than eur 50. You can also pay with a bank card (no cash) on the exit from the parking (I did not know otherwise it would safe me some time). Attention: unfortunately all announcements are in French so could not understand them and follow :(

terrible service. you dont have to buy a fast pass, it wont give you any priority. we had to wait like everyone in many rides. even though we had a seperate line, on the capsule ( rocket) ride the boy told us to wait and let others go. it was just a waste of money. some of the staffs were nice like the boy on the virtual reality(VR) session. also you can not bring food or beverages inside the game area

Nice infrastructure to send à great day but dishonest with money, you are charged for anything logistical you wanna do. Only one water fontaine available, nobody cares for you unless you pay, no transat or chairs to sit on, not allowed to take your picnic inside unless you pay for deposit. Lockers need looks so you need to pay again.

Expensive for what it is. VERY busy so long queues for the majority of the rides. We managed 3 rides in 1.5 hourS. Seems quite dirty too - lazy river very murky (hate to think what’s in there!) and a big navy inflatable slide covered in dirt. Wouldn’t recommend or go again.

The rides themselves are fine, and the tropical river is fun. However, there were really long queues for most of the rides, and in some cases, rides were closed without warning, causing longer queues on those that were open. Signage and explanation is poor - I was refused access to a slide for having a ‘double’ ring rather than a single, but there had been nothing to explain this, and after queuing almost an hour I was pretty frustrated. It’s very expensive for what it is - supplementary charges all over the place. In total we spent about €180 for five people - and we had a picnic lunch and did around 4-6 rides each. Finally, be warned, some of the rides that you think your teenagers will be able to enjoy by being over 1.2m tall, they actually won’t be able to go on because they’re under 50kg. If you can make it to an Aqualand instead I would drive a bit further to do so!

We always had a good time and we will be back end of august. We always go VIP with the paillotes. (Despite we found every year they’re removing benefits like towels, ice cream, bottles of water…) for the same price! Unfortunately we came the day the spheres attraction closed due to an incident minutes before we were due to take the ride!

This is the 2nd time I've visited the water park. And it has gone downhill. The water was not very clean in the main swimming area and the lazy river. Be warned that you will be charged extra for everything, including the use of a locker or sunbed.

Had a great day here - kids loved it, though the choice for small children in terms of rides is a bit limited. Perfect for older kids and adults. Certainly it was busy - all such places are - but you get used to that. Rides are really fun, 'Le Geant' is a great big slide - that one and the other two slides next to it were generally quiet, hardly any queues. There is the usual faff with lockers etc but that is common to all such parks. There didn't seem to be much food available to buy... but plenty ice creams and cold drinks. Overall a sound way to spend a day with the family in the sunshine. Merci.

Totally Desaster! You have to pay for everything extra. The Locker 8€ and the lounge chairs 4€ per person. The staff just speaks French.. no sentence English. Waiting at the waterslides for about 30 mins.

Dear visitors, I was looking forward to a fun day at Wave Island with my family. however, things turned out completely differently than we thought. Once at the door we already noticed the looks. we were taken out of line and then made to wait. eventually a responsible person came to tell us that we were not allowed to enter with long clothes. even if we wouldn't enter the pool. And just to give an impression of the park, we did not get our money back. All believers beware, avoid this park

Great fun. Big slide weight rules a little harsh on so. You can spend the whole day there. I would recommend booking a bed and bring your own food

The park possess a sensational sledging with a lap of 33mts and the tube ejector that is a must because the 33mts one's i don't think there are another place in france. For some atraction there is a queue more than 45min because of their rapid pass, else its a good experience

Decent water park. Lines were not too long, we visited in mid July. Not much shade if you do not want to spend extra money on a shady spot. Consider the fast pass if there are many people.

Good rides. But dirty bathrooms, inefficient rides (unnecessarily long queues due to few ride attendants), burning artificial grass

We loved our stay at Wave Island. I honestly have no idea how this place has such a low rating - we were in high season (end of July) and it was amazing. The rides were good, the atmosphere great, and most of all the staff was truly super nice, despite what's written here in the reviews. I especially want to thank Leslie who helped us quite a lot! We were with a large group that had special needs and Leslie made sure (in perfect English btw!) that we understood everything that's needed in the park. It made our stay extra special.

Disappointing, the park is badly designed meaning lots of time wasted walking from lockers/food/drinks to rides. Of you don’t buy a deck chair the only shaded area to sit is the smoking area! Wait times are an hour per ride (there are only really 4 ride styles and you have to wait in the blazing sun for all) Take a padlock for the lockers - we didn’t have to queue for them but that’s the only highlight! The rapids got so busy it was a sea of rings and not relaxing as you were constantly bumping into strangers! Seems to be another greedy theme park where all they care about is getting as many people as possible in the gates - the result is extreme overcrowding and sadly a pretty mediocre day out.

The best waterpark I've ever been to! There are a huge number of rides, which vary in heights and queue length. The food is obviously very expensive and low quality but the friendly staff and amazing rides make up for that.

Good water park with a good range of attractions for all ages. As it was a very hot day we used the half-day tickets and accessed the park at 4pm until 7pm; the queuing times were very reasonable and we managed to visit all the attractions we wanted to in that time. The only downside is that footwear isn't allowed on the rides and there isn't a designated space for it at the bottom of the slides like in some other water parks so you have to either go everywhere barefoot (including toilets!) or leave your flip-flops somewhere near the ride and hope they are still there when you finish.

Expensive but worth every penny for a whole day of activity. So many things to do, well staffed and overseen without being OTT. Fast food or restaurant. All ages catered for.

The place is a bit disappointing. Locker system is ancient- bring a lock or buy one there for 6 Euros. Slides are not many, and there's no "traffic light system" , where staff stands around to give you the "green light" to go. 3 hours is more than enough.

Great park with alot of water activities, a bit spread out but nice walking paths bring you from one side to the other. For kids of all ages. 3 adult slides in the back if you do not want to go on them cause they are high, I would mention it at the gate when you up tickets, because they cost extra and could save you money by getting entrance without them. The parking for all day is around 8€ so do not get confused on the arm bands, buy an ice and get parking paid for otherwise you pay more than parking is worth. Food and water only allowed in front of park and not in water park area. Throughout whole park food, drinks and snacks are available.

Very good water park, with plenty to do for kids all ages. The park is clean and the staff was very helpful

Had an awesome day at the water park! We were really lucky and caught a day with less guests then normal (friday). Didnt have to wait at the slides at all, enough hoops for everyone and many lifeguards on duty. Free life vests available for adults and kids. Really long river with hoops is great to relax. All the slides and hoops were in good condition. A photographer walks through the park and takes pictures if you want. The ones on the big hoop slides turned out really great! You can access them for free on their website or buy them printed at the shop. At the main restaurant you can get free water - its not written out anywhere but you can simply ask and they will give you as much as you need with ice. If you buy drinks or foods it will be super expencive. But we did survive 7 hours without food ;) . And you have to pay for a lot of things - entrance, a locker, parking and the deck chairs or beds if you want. They change some costs during the different seasons. I was disappointed by the parkingticket machine. It was the end of the season and parking was 4 euro a day. My ticket was 6 euro so i asked a security for help and he simply said they didnt change the settings in the machine until now. I refused to pay more so he let me out free but everyone else just paid the extra money without complaining. You really have to pay attention what you pay. Besides that i would definitely go again! They are expanding the waterpark for the 2017 season.
