It's a good bakery but not a good restaurant. The location is lovely but I wouldn't come back here for lunch or dinner as the quality is not great. The meat was very dry and the quality of the salad poor, even the cheese was very poor.

A beautiful little place to stop and have a light lunch. A very chill & shaded terrace where we had some great salads and coffee. We had Caesar salads that came in a tub that you shook before pouring it onto your plate - little gimmicky but tasted excellent! Super friendly and attentive staff as well - would definitely recommend!

The food is good, the desserts are delicious too, and well priced, but the service is sooooooo slow!! I would still recommend this place but I would say you should just find the waiter yourself when you need him or her. Don’t wait around to be served.

Great location, but worst breakfast in years and they forget the orange juice, which arrives 30 mins later. The place is left by the owner to be run by students. Shame. Wasted location.

It was a bit slow as prior posters noted, but the food was worth the wait! It was a busy day after Christmas - the staff was scrambling to keep up with the steady flow of customers. We ordered the fish soup ( much better than the one we had in Nice) and I got the plat du jour - which came with the house special tiramisu. A great ambiance, friendly staff. Highly recommend

Nice place for lunch. Good food for the value. 13.90€ lunch formula offered (plat+dessert). Come early as the dessert pastry comes from the shop and options may run out.

Excellent place and Genevive with 77 years old was the best hostess

Cappuccino is disgusting. Somehow if you not able to do it, you should not provide this option. The girl also wasn’t really friendly, told to pay in advance. The old lady was nice.

My favourite cafe in Avignon. People here are so nice. Though there was language barrier but they were very open to communicate with us. We stayed there for a while enjoyed the weather and the street view. They also let us taste their delicious puffs💜💜 visited on 2023/12/30 (leaving comment in every beautiful places I love during my trip in France)

Found this place, no waiters about so sat down at an empty table and waited. Large bearded guy in shorts, t-shirt and red baseball cap eventually came over (he was the waiter) and when he found out we had simply sat down without waiting he wasn't happy at all and left us in no doubt of that fact. We never got any water or bread, and he cleared several empty tables before cleaning our table of the previous occupants stuff; then he laid our table and when my wife turned over her freshly laid water glass, he picked it up and turned back down. He was the perfect example of a surly waiter. There was another issue due to my poor french and he made very, very sure that i knew it. Basically he is in the wrong job and takes simple mistakes made by tourists as personal affronts. Very uncomfortable meal which we didn't enjoy and were glad to leave. That said, the salads we had were OK. The setting was really good, an the other staff seemed good. Would only go back if i could be sure that guy wasn't working that day. Without him the review would have been 4 stars.

Yesterday we had the best lunch chez Lisette. A 3 course meal for 25 €, what a wonderful experience. The waiter was beyond friendly and we would be back in a heartbeat

Delicious! My wife surprised me with a cake from here. She gave the baker a couple of flavors I like and let her design it. My wife picked it up the next day and it came out perfect. Tons of flavour, crust was great, and looked 👌.

What a lovely young lady working hard carrying a baby in a sling, just amazing to watch. The pastry in the flan was just right and great coffees. Watching people is a great hobby and this is a busy spot with smashing food to boot. Prices very reasonable.

Fantastic! Fabulous pastries, beautiful coffee and wonderfully kind staff (mostly bilingual if you don't speak French) and a beautiful location to escape the heat and let the world go by.

Perfect spot for a coffee and a glass of wine, especially during the hours where other restaurants won't let you sit down if you just want a drink or a small snack from the bakery. Very friendly service at the counter, and the house rosé is a little darker and more complex than your absolute standard Provencal rosé that you get by the glass everywhere else. Beautiful shady courtyard as well.

I bought my breakfast items here every day to enjoy on my balcony, everything is the best quality. I also like the choices of sandwiches for lunch. The staff are friendly and welcoming - merci à tous !

Excellent! The food was superb and the service too. Loved their salade poulet and poisson for lunch. A bottle of rosé and profiteroles made it memorable. Highly recommend. Cinq etoiles!!

A lovely terrace, but the service was disorganized and slow and the food was not homemade. My husband’s fish with aioli came without the aioli and my Caesar salad felt store bought.

We ordered 3 drinks, wine, water and 3 deserts. They just told us they wouldn’t do that for us except if we also paid for an entire meal. This place is located in the center of Palais des Pâpes, don’t expect to get a drink here, not even a desert. Unless if you’re planning to also buy their ridiculously priced meals.
