I love landing at Bakersfield Meadows Airport! What I love the most: You can literally show up at this airport 30 minutes before your flight leaves and easily make your flight on time. Smaller airport means you don't have massive lines. You walk in, go straight to the kiosk, print out your ticket, go straight to the TSA screening, and be in your terminal within 15 minutes. What I'd like to see more of: Food and restaurants. I know it's small and they probably don't have enough traffic but it would be cool if they had more places to eat at. They only have 1 place. Rental Cars: They have 4 different rental car companies to choose from which is more than enough options. Easy to quickly get off the plane and into your car.

Easiest airport I’ve ever flown out of! Super empty, very easy to navigate, and TSA was actually very pleasant and nice! Would fly out of Meadows over any other airport any day!

Great airport with plenty of parking and easy access. Clean, easy access from i99 take Olive or Airport off ramps. Airport is newer and modern. All the major car rental firms have counters here. No international flights but easy access from this airport to the major hubs like LAX and SFO

For some reason Uber doesn't work well in this airport. So plan ahead or take a taxi. For departures, they are extremely picky. TSA Pre makes no difference here They retained a nail clipper because it had a 1 in h blade in it. Been to at least 30 different airports with it but here is not allowed. Next time I'll fly to BUR and drive to avoid this place.

Terrible service. Steven, who works in the front desk of American Airlines had the worst attitude as well as the worst customer service. We came back for our luggage the next day (because it was left behind in the state that we came from for whatever reason) and no one was at the front desk for over 30 minutes. Worst experience I’ve had at an airport.

Small airport, it look like a train station no pre TSA, car rental closed at 10pm and open around 7 or 8 am, it’s ok when you drop off the car, there is a box where to leave the key, but if you have a delayed flight or overnight flight no rental car

Smallest airport I've been to. 1 terminal with 3 gates. It was nice and clean with absolutely no traffic or hustle and bustle like your typical airport. My friend waited right out front for an hr and didn't have anyone bother him telling him to move along.

The people that work there are the rudest I've ever seen! The men and women working the security were taking their duties to extreme. My husband had just broken his foot and was on 1 crutch and they still tried to hurry us along while he was struggling and quite rude about it. In February while my brother and family that has a disabled son, they did the same thing and my brother couldn't get his shoes on fast enough before my nephew got scared and was crying. Outrageous behavior and I will never fly out that airport EVER AGAIN. SHAME ON BAKERSFIELD!

The line can get very long so be at least 2hr early for flights. And there is no PreCheck lines. TSA is very nice and helpful.

Super clean, easy parking, no crowds. Only complaint was lack of TSA pre, but the security line was like 3 people, so doesn't really matter.

Small airport with speedy service and short distance to terminals. Easy curb side drop off. One of my favorites out of all the airports I have ever been to and I been to many.

It's a small airport. Pricey to fly through, but convenient. Parking is easy.

Smooth traveling to and from here. Small enough that the wait times are almost non existent. Small gift shop, and all the essentials without the crowds. Parking lot is very close, and extremely walkable. Would highly recommend if your considering flying into or out of the Bakersfield area.

Great small airport to fly select flights. No need to rush to a gate here.

This is the best stress-free airport I’ve ever had the pleasure of flying our son out of. Parking is convenient and easy. There are only 2 major airlines (American & United) TSA is a breeze and everyone is friendly. If you have a chance to fly from Bakersfield….Do it!!!!😁👍🥰✈️

The people who work TSA are completely incompetent. They act like they have such a tough and stressful or important job when there’s barely 5-10 flights out of here per day. Take some lessons from any major airport TSA and try to be kind or helpful.

Great small airport. TSA is quick, polite and efficient. Small term and long term parking is conveniently located next to airport, highly recommend. Worth paying the extra dollars to fly in/out of if you want less stress (I’ve flown out of 20 plus airports)

After discovering that our suitcase wheel broke off while transitioning through the airport the American Airlines counter staff Elmer and Crashell were amazing. They were excellent in their customer service approach making sure our concerns were resolved to the best of their abilities. American Airlines or TSA needs to reward staff like that- they really made sure to take care of us. Thanks to both of them we went on our merry way with absolutely no complaints. This is the kind of professionalism us travelers love to see. Top Tier so keep up the great work Elmer and Crashell! Can’t wait to see yall again.

Worst customer service from Avis themselves! Returned a vehicle counter agent got a hold of us immediately to let us know they had our item! She was amazing! However since that call we can get a hold of NO ONE!!! I get these emails I call the number they gave me the automated person then says our number not found good bye! Beyond frustrating! We will NEVER rent from Avis nor recommend them to anyone! Hire more employees maybe pay them more idk if you can’t provide customer service maybe you should get out of business!! And the only reason I “gave 1star” was that was only way I could leave a review go figure! I would give minus stars if I could have.

There is very poor signage to the airport, you have no idea where you are going. I found it very difficult as a new resident of Bakersfield, cannot imagine a visitors very bad impression of Bakersfield. So much needs to be improved.

Easiest airport parking, drop off and pick up I've ever experianced.

It's a tiny airport, and there was no sign of ground transport or Taxi. Besides, the staff there told me there was no Taxi, but I saw it when I went to the airport.
