I’ve been told my grandparents meet here, when it was still a amusement. My family and I frequently visit this site and unfortunately get some Taco Bell while there. This is a great, beautiful and historical site. A must visit!

All that is left from the original amusement park that used to be here. There are plenty of historical plaques around it to help explain what used to be here. No designated public parking next to it. But we visited on a very hot day. So we parked at Rite Aid and picked up some cold sodas! Across the street is a popular doughnut and ice cream shop. The bridge is steep, but worth the effort. The view is very nice from the top. Can get a good view of the surroundings.

Their is a handicap accessible boat dock. Plus you can walk to the Doughnut Shop, the Landing Tavern, Taco Bell, Rite Aid, Dollar General, some unique shops and Mimi's restaurant.

Interesting bridge spanning the lake. If you are lucky, you would run across one of the locals and she has quite a story to share. It does sound like this bridge closes in the colder months. Good bridge to walk for a good calves workout. Also very nearby is Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, which you can see the statue from the top of this bridge.
