CV
is
currently
in
the
process
of
renovating
their
apartments
a
few
at
a
time,
which
is
finally
addressing
most
of
the
quality
concerns
that
have
been
raised
in
previous
reviews.
If
you
can
get
a
renovated
apartment,
then
it's
hands-down
nicer
than
the
dorms;
if
not,
then
you
might
consider
looking
elsewhere.
The
office
staff,
I
will
agree,
are
terrible
slackers;
their
office
hours
are
dreadfully
short,
and
they
don't
follow
those
hours
very
consistently.
When
you
do
manage
to
get
a
hold
of
them,
however,
they
are
surprisingly
helpful
and
understanding;
so,
not
*too*
many
points
lost
there.
Additionally,
the
maintenance
guy
responds
to
requests
as
promptly
as
could
be
expected
(consistently
within
24
hours,
in
my
experience).
The
security
is
more
for
deterrence
than
anything
else,
although
I
hesitate
to
point
out
any
specific
flaws
online.
On
the
plus
side,
though,
their
track
record
is
excellent,
and
the
police
outpost
next
door
probably
helps;
to
the
best
of
my
knowledge,
CV
has
never
had
any
break-ins
or
stolen
cars
(unlike
a
lot
of
the
rental
houses
in
the
area).
All
in
all,
for
a
price
directly
comparable
to
that
of
living
in
the
dorms,
it's
a
solid
choice.
If
you
don't
want
to
join
a
fraternity
or
sorority,
risk
living
in
a
rental
house,
or
have
to
drive
to/from
Riverfront
or
some
other
distant
place,
then
CV
is
definitely
worth
considering.
