Excellent service at the front desk getting my new membership activated & getting me started in my new gym. Love the tv's at each piece of equipment. First time there, equipment was fine & the place was clean.

I really don't understand my issues with these gyms but it seems to follow me wherever I go. I have been here a few times, but every time i try it has been nothing but bad. I can see why people praise this place because of the two floors = more equipment... duh. That's it. I get it. The quality in which they keep their equipment is a whole other story. I see them out cleaning yet nothing is clean. The second floor is almost useless to the staff as the treadmills are covered in a THICK layer of dust and sweat splotches 24/7 like the hours they couldn't even keep. I saw maybe 2-3 people spit in the water fountains which is horrendous, first of all embarrassing to them having people watch them do it cause honestly...WHY? Gyms more towards Cleveland is where I will stay. Ohio City and North Olmsted and the East Side has a more functional staff and better equipment, save your time!

Working 3rd shift means I go late late and it's great because this location is clean, quiet and not crowded. Staff was helpful and location is a nice size with 2 floors and more to offer than the several other locations in the past i have visited.

I love working out here. It has a comfortable atmosphere. You don't get those judgemental stares. It's clean. Depending on your workout hours, it's roomy enough for it to not feel too full. The floor managers are always kind and helpful

It’s a good gym, any real issue I’ve ever had is with the other people working out, some of the dumbest people I’ve met, but if you ignore them and just smile it’s not too bad. I’m deducting two stars because they’re no longer open 24/7, that was a big part of why I signed up.

I like this location and it's a nice gym environment. The only downside is they close way to early on weekends, it's my off days and I am a nightshift person. I would at least like to have it open until 10pm. Another thing is they need to upgrade and update onto their new Smyth machine, as most planet fitness are getting it now days. Other than these 2 problems everything is great and would make it a 5 star instead of 4 if they changed one of these.

I have a membership in another state, I know they are a new building here however the treadmills could use the updated version. I was greeted up on entering & exiting but not very friendly or smiling faces. However it did look clean.

I've only been here a month but it seems there's no urgency for maintenance. Same broken drinking fountain and TVs since my first day here. There's still plenty of those working it's just a bad look. Overall though a good gym so far. Especially for $10/month.

Great place to visit and get in a quick workout with the 30 min circuit training. Then on to treadmill for a couple of miles. In and out in less than 1 hour ... including travel (I only live 5 mins away).

Love my local PF. I've been a member for 1.5+ years at the Avon location and seldom have anything negative to think, let alone remark. The staff are friendly, the equipment is premium, gym users are generally friendly, attractive and well groomed. I look forward to going every time!

Very rude management. Called about a problem with my billing got told that they just keep adding on to your bill if you miss a payment and that i would have to pay for 2 months that i didnt even use the account because I was under the influence it was deactivated

Nice facility until you get to the showers. I've felt less gross showering at camp grounds. That's based on the mold that I could see in the shower with my glasses off. The gross mold was the reason for the two-star deduction.

Nice and big. Very busy Sat. Morning. But still plenty to do. Nice to have Black membership because I was in town for the weekend.

I had a nice workout today but wasn’t feeling too well after. There was an employee named Lee who was super super kind helped me out, and didn’t make me feel embarrassed. His kindness was very appreciated and made me feel a lot better! Shoutout to Lee he is amazing!

RE: Avon, OH. Great gym, great equipment. Management on the other hand, smh. Having a group membership under a company, nobody knows how to handle it let alone knows anything about it. Therefore It takes 10 days to get a membership. Clearly poor training and communication from upper management and a bad way to run a business. The poor employees having to deal with the angry and upset customers when it's NOT even their fault. Good job management! Here's your sign.

I like that everyone minds their business no one stares at you and people will explain the equipment if your not sure how to use. Just wish they were open later on Friday. They are closing by time I get off work

It is the best I have been so far. And I travel North America including Canada. This is number one so far. Clean, big and quality ppl.

Avon location. Incredible gym. Clean, unreal number of machines and cardio. All in working order. Very nice staff. Large facility. So many cardio machines. Never too crowded as it can hold many members at a time. Parking is great. Amenities wonderful

Great gym with lots of equipment. Clean and well managed. Front desk staff typically ignores you as you walk in, but not a big deal. One star deduction for closing early Saturday and Sunday. I'd love to see it open until 9:00 both evenings.

Place is not being cleaned. Workers congregate at front desk and are on their phones. I go to a lot of locations and this is the dirtiest by far. Hairs and dust all around the bases of machines. Try wiping out the lockers while your at it. Not as filthy as esporta but getting there. #In response to your response this is the problem. I’m not their boss, you are. Maybe I should bring a vacuum with me too??

This location is adequate for anyone on their fitness journey, I've been to better and been to worse. This is a new-ish building, but mostly older equipment and a few pieces were waiting on repairs. There was a lot of trash outside when I visited and the glass was very dirty (the reasons for the 3 star review). Friendly staff, and as a truck driver they were accommodating to my needs. Room for MAYBE 3 semi trucks at a time. I would visit again.

This location is fantastic! Always clean, the members are polite, usually no issues on equipment wait times. Love it here. 80 percent of the staff is friendly and engaging. The other 20 percent are not rude however could be more engaging at the front desk. Example smile, say hello or good-bye, look up from the cell phone ect. That’s my only suggestion. Keep up the good work!!!!!

This gym has the most helpful staff. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The building is so clean. All their equipment is always sanitized, the floor is always vacuumed. This is a very safe place to work out while having fun learning... My personal favorite is trainer Don, always greeting people with a big smile, and a positive encouraging remark "looking good bud"... I always look forward to my time at Planet Fitness Avon

Worst place ever never a manager available when needed and they hate to cancel your membership

Supposed to be a judgment free place yet the employees don’t know how to be decent to members who may not know something especially if you just started coming to the gym. Otherwise great place crowded at times

The owner Mr Patel should be ashamed of himself !!! Filthy bug infested hotel !!! Moldy bathroom , Filthy carpet . The city of North olmsted building Department needs to be notified !!!

The facility is always nice and clean. The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions I may have. This is one of the nicest PF I have been in.

The Avon location is much nicer than other local clubs, but those ones are still great too. The staff here is friendly, helpful, and caring. They do a pretty good job of keeping the place tidy and refilling the wipe down stations.

This Planet Fitness is one of the nicest in the area. It is worth the extra drive from Cleveland. Always clean, friendly staff, two stories so you hardly ever have to wait for a machine or somewhere to stretch. Only issue you will ever have with it is motivating yourself to show up.

Love planet fitness, only complaint about my local club is it's one of the large PFs but still short on equipment. I tend to often have to wait to use smiths, bench's and dumbbells. It's always packed in afternoon. It's time to expand or build another close to handle the overflow of members. Once COVID is not in the forefront it'll be harder to use this gym. Recommended equipment 2 x Smith with weights 1 x set of dumbbells 1 addition fly setup

I was passing through the Avon area for work and stopped in for a quick cardio-session. Avon has some equipment I haven’t used before. The gym was busy, yet the assistant manager took the time to explain some of the features on their cardio-equipment that I wasn’t familiar with. I appreciated Don taking time to do this with me.

Very friendly staff. The trainer/assistant manager Don took the time to take us around all of the equipment and explain how each works (newbies here). Let us know what classes were available and the extras that this gym had to offer. Best experience.
