I was recently injured when my vehicle exploded and knocked me off my feet. I got a concussion, whiplash & it weren’t for Ohio Pain & rehab I cannot imagine how I would be able to function Dr Mark Pellegrino is a leading pain specialist in the Country and we are blessed to have him right here in Stark County. His partner Dr Shakir has given me ultrasound Guided Injections in L5 & S1. Before the the first I was having Spasms everyday since the accident then the first set of injections stopped that but the nerves were still overactive so I just received a second set. The pain is so much better. I pray it doesn’t return. However if it does I thank God for these Dr’s of Excellence & Integrity.

If I could give negative stars I would!! TRUST ME DONT GO TO THEM, They are really horrible! They just keep giving u different medicine, hoping that will help you! BUT It doesn’t! They never want to answer the phone & when they do they’ll send you to the nurse line which is pointless cause they don’t answer either! Carla Rose is a nasty practitioner, she had no compassion and doesn’t want to hear any of your problems. Emily doesn’t know what she’s doing. My Father was having problems in his left leg and if he told her his head has been hurting him she will suggests that’s why his leg hurts ?! Like what are you talking about lady? My family doesn’t trust them anymore, the receptionist are lazy, they just sit around and do nothing, talk & eat snacks why the phones just ring! Don't really care if you need help or Not! -5

I received 4 injections, 2 in my shoulder blades for arthritis and a curvature in my neck. I had a fractured spine in 2013. I was dealing with the pain in a so so manor. I received 2 more shots in my lower back muscles of dexamethasone. I was okay Thursday the day of the injections. By Friday evening, I could not cross my legs because of pain in my gluteus. Slowly the pain worked its way down my thighs and then a day later it moved into my calves. It was as if the pain was working its way out through either the muscle, blood or nerve system. I called the office to get a list of possible side effects. I was told that there were none. I Googled it and found a extensive list of side effects. One of which was effects on nerves and muscles. I called the office to complain of the problems I was having. They said we will see you in 5 weeks. It has been quite an ordeal. I would not suggest receiving any injections of dexamethasone.

Dr. Shakir has been wonderful. He takes his time and never makes you feel rushed. I was facing neck surgery, he completed injections as well as RFA which has given me the most relief I have had in 10+ years. I am no longer considering surgery at this point. Highly recommend him along with his team.

I see Dr. Ahmad for my fibromyalgia. I also get I.V. Lidocaine infusions to help with the pain. They are amazing!!!! After seeing many specialists and having so many tests run it is refreshing to find a Dr. who listens to you and understands what you are going through. Everyone in the office has been so kind and helpful. I even forgot an appointment time and was running late so the girls in the office were able to change it to telehealth so I wouldn't miss my appointment. I highly recommend this place. It's worth the 45 minute drive for me.

I have been going here for a couple years and they have helped me many times with my pain flare ups. They helped when no one else knew what to do with me. I have a neck injury, lower back and sciatic issues and fibromyalgia. Carrie is always willing to help ease my pain in anyway possible.Dr Shakir is very professional. He tells you everything he's going to do as he's doing the procedures. I've had SI injections, facet injections, epidural and RFA. Thank God for them helping ease my pain. - Tina Z.

I have been going here for several years and seeing Dr.Ahmad. He is one of the only doctors I trust and feel comfortable with. They have a variety of treatment options and treat you with care and respect. The office staff is always so helpful and polite. I am grateful to be established at this office and would recommend them to anyone.

I suffer from psoriatic arthritis, Ehlers danlos syndrome, and secondary fibromyalgia. I thought before the appointment that I had everything faxed over, but he walked in, didn’t let me go fully through my history, and said he couldn’t do anything until he got the rest of my information. He seemed very off, the entire appointment was odd in a way I can’t really put into words. I called my rheum who referred me, and they said they sent my whole file minus my last 2 office visits. So they sent that, then he called and said we could try lidocaine infusions. I however have a port because I have pots and I receive iv saline 4 times a week as a treatment for it. Because of being poked so many times before I had my port placed, I have no peripheral access. I asked if they could use my port for infusions, and ultimately said they wouldn’t. I then asked if he had any further recommendations and he said no but I’m free to seek a second opinion. He was not outright rude, but I do feel that I am being punished for being a complex patient. I felt very excited to see him, and based off the reviews I thought he could really get some good ideas to help me find relief, but he didn’t seem to be interested in me whatsoever as a patient which was very disappointing. I am currently seeking a second opinion, but I fail to see how there could only be one thing that could help my pain, and he’s either unable or unwilling to help me in any other way. Not a horrific experience, but an extremely disappointing and disheartening one.

My husband went here till he accidentally took too much medication, then they dropped him immediately he is now suffering in a lot of pain , we are trying to find another pain management so far no appointments till October. They never took into consideration that he would be in a lot of pain could have let him find someone else before they dropped him, I think this is cruel

I drove over an hour away to see a doctor here and was just told the same things as other doctors have told me...you can manage your pain levels but you have to find a that way on your own. I was hopeful before I went that I would finally get help with managing my pain levels that I have been living with 14 years. But nope was told I have to find a way on my own. Oh and don't forget the office doesn't ever answer the phone.

I had severe stenosis and Dr. Shakir was able to give me relief until I got surgery. My surgeon was surprised I was able to get any relief from shots because of the very small passages into the spine. I'm returning now for relief in a different area.

I took my sister to her scheduled appt, she signed in and after i watched 5 patients go in that came in after us, i asked the time and it was 35 mins we sat there and i asked her to check with receptionist, and she informed her they made a mistake and had to reschedule again, the dr had already left. We are an hour away and gave up gas, time and work on the hottest day of the year. Your lucky i gave one 🌟 cause it should have been none. Better scedule allowing you to call that day to make sure you are going to be seen before leaving your home. Just so not professional

Going on only my 1st appointment and discussions on the phone, the staff is so kind. If they dont care, they are great actors! I believe they do care. I'm very happy with my choice to go here for help with my pain
