The hotel lobby is nice. The front desk staff is not overly friendly. We paid for a penthouse suite. There was no closet or drawers in the master bedroom. The closest was in the common area and had no door or curtain at all, with 3 hangers. There were 2 drawers for clothes and one bathroom for us and visitors. This is not presidential! No wet bar either.

I mean, location is fine if you need to be steps from I-85. Rooms are clean and acceptable, but the low floors are really noisy from lobby and restaurant/bar patrons. People were really nice at the desk. Also, the hot water didn't get really hot.

Whatever you do please do not have James as your shuttle driver. He's rude, impatient, and even used profanity while driving. He seemed frustrated and had an nasty attitude. The hotel itself was clean and the other staff members were awesome. James should definitely not be driving for an upscale place like this. My staff and board members were speechless and not in a good way. Just glad we made it to the hotel safely!!

My experience was very bland. Nothing memorable or exciting. There were three people who are worth mentioning however. Fatima in the cafe is lovely. There was a tall, gentleman, brown complexion who helped me out with storing luggage who's energy I enjoyed and he radiated enough to overpower the unwelcoming energy for everyone else around him at the desk including the manager he stood beside, & the young lady who checked me in (darker skin, long braids) who was accommodating as can be, thank you. The managers on duty can use some re training. I’ve been an AGM in hospitality for quite a while and was NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL with the leadership at all over the course of my 3 night stay. The lack of knowledge, enthusiasm, and service to guests I witnessed was disappointing. A family member had TWO ROACHES fall from your 11th floor ice machine, into her bucket of ice and when she approached a girl at the desk, the girl scrunched up her face and declined to look into the bucket but offered that she knew it was a roach. Nothing more, nothing less was done or said. Nobody ever contacted her, nothing. The manager, Artis, not helpful, not memorable in a positive light, and could benefit from taking a course in conflict resolution. Very new to learn this location also does not offer day use room rates or anything that could assist with late flights for travelers. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend. I travel often, with Hilton, which I work for, and would have opted to stay with my own but family members were convincing me enough to try a Marriott, so I signed up for a membership and will not be using it.

Hotel is like a Hall. When people are talking or laughing at the Lobby you can hear it till the room. Rooms are nice but pretty small. As Marriott bonvoy member I have access to the M Club Lounge. The lounge was the worst experience ever. The interior is nice and renovated. BUT the food and beverages is the worst what I have seen. For breakfast just eggs, sausages and Bacon. No vegetables at all. Disgusting.

Hotel was clean and the staff was pretty friendly. WARNING! This hotel has “hidden” fees attach to it. They tell you it’s a $50 deposit per night but at check out. Your only going to receive HALF of it back. There going to add the other $25 in the hidden fee. So beware of that. Hotel was cool but I won’t be staying again because of that.

Best Hotel in Atlanta (I've stayed in four others) clean, great front desk staff, bell man (young man was so nice. I should have let him carry my bags to my room) clean rooms, quiet, nice, spacious, pool, private area for members, nice TV channel choices, and the bed was clean and wonderful! Only problem I saw was the parking. You are charged per day not by time. And the exit is used as a entrance constantly. Google maps need to update their information regarding this. Thank You Atlanta Marriott! Best hotel in Atlanta.

Our stay was WONDERFUL. The room was very clean. Nice size room and bed was so comfortable. We had dinner there and it was amazing especially the tomato soup. We also did breakfast there and it was so good. Service was amazing. Everyone was very nice. I'd stay there again:)

Staff is mainly helpful however some are very rude and sadly it's not entirely their fault. Management has taken an under staff stance and over work their employees. Too many issues with my stay after the first week. Will ensure this does not happen again for future work groups

Very nice Marriott, private easy parking. My room was awesome, I was able to get it super cold! Overall in general is a very nice hotel and I would stay here again. The dining area was just okay kind of a limited menu.

I visited the restaurant in the hotel on 03/18/22. It was really busy. I asked for the supervisor, and spoke to Kierston, who was actually waiting tables with one other server. She was very polite, and reached out to everyone at every table. It was a long wait, but the food and customer service was outstanding. Will be back again.

Lovely stay. Check in was a breeze. Really enjoyed the non- carpeted rooms. Very modern feel. Comfy bed. Quiet room. Great little features like the built in reading lights. Restaurants on site. Parking is secure. Loved the gym. They even had peloton bikes. you have to log into your account to use it. Would recommend.

The A/C is really loud. When it is running, feel like a machine roaring on top of the head. Apple Watch shows a noise level of 50+db. And the freezing air is blowing to the bed directly. Couldn’t get much sleep during the night because of this. The room is clean enough. There is a dripping coffee maker in the room but only plastic cup provided. The staff is friendly and helped to get some coffee mugs. The location is good. But not worth the money paid considering the room condition, especially the A/C.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS !! We stayed at this hotel during a volleyball tournament. The front desk staff, manager and general manager were very rude ! It's disgusting and a real shame that an entire hotel is being run so poorly from top to bottom. It's clear that the problems at this hotel are systemic and caused by the General Manager. It's a trickle down system in which the top brass has no morals and has been placed in a position which he is not capable of handling. This hotel needs a new GM and complete overhaul of staff. Until then I recommend that NO ONE STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

I always enjoy my stay at the Emory area Marriott. Convenient to downtown and nearby dining options. Rooms are always clean, excellent staff. Conference rooms have a tendency to be cold, but are well maintained. There is an on-site restaurant and coffee shop.

For the price it was definitely NOT worth the stay and we had discounts. The room was pretty small with no microwave strangely enough. The bathroom was very, very small. No breakfast was included. The biggest problem was the PAINFULLY slow WiFi and internet TV. Employee service was good and the room was clean. The stay was very quiet and peaceful at least.

This is the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The atrium construction is pretty, but the lounge noise echos throughout the 14 floor building until at least 11pm. It sounded like the bar was outside my room on the 6th floor. Not restful at all.

Room was nice, a little difficult to function if you’re staying any more than a night or two. Watch your personal belongings though, housekeeping has sticky fingers.. Stole a jacket from my hanging clothes (why?).. Housekeeping manager gaslit me when I complained, told me I must have not brought it (I assure you I did). Amenities are decent, hotel “restaurant” is overpriced and food quality seems to depend on who is working. Don’t be down for breakfast at 630, the precooked food is still warming up. Also, why is there one tiny microwave for the ENTIRE HOTEL?

We had a fire in our apartment building and the staff here was wonderfully helpful especially Betsy Gavin who helped us find extended accommodations at an affiliated location. The staff helped with issues with our cat and many other items we needed since we had no access to our person things. The view was amazing and the whole experience here made an awful situation seem more like a surprise vacation. I would recommend for the view alone, beautiful sunsets and wildlife from a distance. Amazing!

Staff is so friendly! Restaurant service was great, food was decent. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was kind and prompt. Location is an isolated island, nothing within walking distance so either be prepared to drive for everything, or pay highly inflated hotel prices for snacks and sodas.

They do not provide luggage stands, and there is inadequate drawer space for unpacking your luggage. I'm sleeping with my luggage on the foot of my single queen size bed. This is utter nonsense. I'm here for 9 days and have one drawer and maybe 8 hangers. The space under the "closet" rail is supposed to be for luggage, but it's only big enough for a carry on. I asked the front desk for a luggage stand and was told the hotel doesn't have any. What utter nonsense. I work in pest control. Luggage stands exist for a reason. Other people in my group said they've put their luggage on the floor. GROSS. The $20 breakfast is definitely not worth $20. It's what other hotels provide for free. No microwaves in the rooms. Not having somewhere to put my clothing and luggage for 9 days is a huge inconvenience. I'm sure this review will change absolutely nothing, but if you're bringing more than a duffle bag, just know that if you don't have an extra bed in your room, you'll either be sleeping with your luggage or putting it in the floor. I'd expect better from a Marriott. Oh, and be sure to request a high floor on the "quiet side" of the hotel. I'm on the second floor with a window facing the interstate. It constantly sounds like a freight train passing thru, and can hear every single drunk at the hotel bar cackling for hours.

THE MARRIOTT SHOULD BE ASHAMED FOR CANCELING OUR RESERVATIONS!!!!! We came into town for Taylor Swift and had our hotel booked here for two months. We had email confirmations and spoke with them earlier this week. When we called day of, they cancelled our reservation and refused to honor it!!! We have never had trouble with the Marriott before but we’ll definitely think before with book with them again!!! Because two concerts are in town, there is nothing left except the super jacked up prices!!!! We’re stuck in Atlanta in with no place to stay on the busiest weekend with no place to book! They didn’t care at all, how do you not honor a reservation?! How do you cancel a legitimate reservation!!! I’m fuming, and I rarer leave a bad review but this was ridiculous!!

Bar service was not great. Why are you charging me for ice in my drink? Got order wrong several times due to just not listening. Catering at a major event was not great due to trying to serve 200 people with four servers. Guests ate their desserts because they waited 40 min or more to get a main course or bread. Food arrived overcooked and cold. Staff seemed as frustrated as the guests. Bread never arrived even after asking for it.

Hotel is clean, bathrooms are very small. Like you can shower and use the sink to brush your teeth at the same time. Barn doors on bathroom with no locks so no real privacy at all. Bed was super comfy so that’s a huge plus! Hotel is very noisy! Highway noise starts very early. Group in the lobby yelling and screaming until 3:00 am. Manager said that security finally asked them to leave at 3:00 am…gee thanks! No real apologies or consideration for the other 100’s of guests. The lobby is wide open to the ceiling with rooms all around so it was like an echo chamber. We were with a large group and the next morning we were all exhausted and couldn’t believe that they would let that go on for so long into the early morning hours. Parking was a disaster. No rhyme or reason to the the gate system. Scan the card, don’t scan the card. Take a ticket, don’t take a ticket. Looked like someone actually just plowed through. Big plus is the Starbucks coffee they offer and the woman that was working there both days during my stay. Bottom line..if you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is definitely NOT it.

Nice room and staff. Had to put a $100 hold for hotel 'incidentals' which is understandable but takes 3-5 days to return? How does it take 30 seconds to hold my money but 3-5 days to return it in the year 2022?

Our power had been out all day and it hadn't been fixed by 8pm and we needed a place to stay for the night because it was going to be 25° so we came here because it was right down the street. It was fine except even though it was just renovated the bathroom door would not close so I had to take a freezing cold shower but I guess it was better than being in a freezing cold house.

Hotel would be awesome if housekeeping didn't steal. When you report it to Management (Artis) will argue with you like you lying and housekeeping doesn't steal. Topper once I complained the Manager started over charging us for our stays. He had over charged me over $200 my son caught it immediately. I went back inside he tried to double talk about what happened. Ain't no telling how long he's been stealing from customers and Marriott. He rude and his customer service sucks. How much money and how many customers gone complain before dude is fired. Then they put him on both shifts I bet he racking up Marriott money like crazy. I won't be going back I suggest anyone going here stay checking your items in room and check your bills coming in and out.

This was an excellent experience. The bartender on Fri and Sat evening 7/15- 7/16 was kind and efficient and made great drinks. Restaurant experience made me feel valued and the food was tasty. The room was absolutely beautiful and nicely decorated with elegance and efficiency. The Christine Horn Booking Magnet LIVE Conference made an excellent hotel selection. Best hotel stay in a long while and I am so glad I treated myself.

The front desk staff here is terrific, Miss Charisma, her real name, was efficient, extremely capable and pleasant and we had the fastest check in I've ever experienced. She also, without even being prompted, updated the email on my old Marriott account. Now THAT'S service. She single- handedly restored my faith in Marriott's reputation for consistently outstanding people - which standard they have NOT been meeting at the Atlanta Marquis property in recent years. This location (Century Center) though has proven to have really excellent staff. Improvements: The coffee in the restaurant was bitter and a little bit sour, although the selection & food on the breakfast buffet was very good. There is a very limited service Starbucks in the lobby too. Bathrooms: there's only 1 tiny hook, and it's inconveniently placed right above the toilet. No other towel racks. We don't need fresh towels every day (save water everyone!) but there's not enough hanging space there. A little more counter space would help too. The rooms could use more counter space as well. A folding luggage rack is a necessity in a hotel room, and there should be 2 of them! The small counter directly under the hanging clothes rack was not well placed. The small refrigerator was a nice touch though.

Everything was clean. The room was nice. The staff was nice and helpful. They greeted us every time we entered the hotel. I've stayed here twice for business, and it was a nice experience both times.

Rooms are updated but shower is way too small so you can barely turn around in it without running into the shower door or the shampoo holder. The shower door also would not stay closed until I wedged a towel in it. Therefore cold air kept blowing into the shower and water got all over the floor. The ladies at the front desk were nice and professional but the lobby can get noisy at night (like after midnight) and due to the design of the hotel the noise carries over into the rooms. There was also hair in my bed and food stains. The experience was not worth $235 for one night. This is the second time I’ve experienced a dirty room with the Marriott brand. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel.

The most comfortable, elegant, and customer service oriented hotel I've been to in the area. Their focus on guest accommodations and needs is second to none. I highly recommend experiencing their rooms, amenities, and customer service and support.

We arrived at the hotel and was told a women called in and cancelled our reservation. I don't know why we receive confirmation numbers if they are not going to check it to make sure they are making changes/cancelations correctly. I can't imagine how many people go through this, cause of the same name?? So I got charged for 2 rooms, since the first one I booked was nonrefundable. Unless I'm mistaken about what confirmation numbers are used for? Favorite part of the hotel was the Starbucks inside, the lady was very sweet.

Unless you view highway traffic as background noise, be strategic about which side of the building you’re placed on. The employees were all pleasant and the restaurant staff was very accommodating. I wanted to catch Starbuck’s on my way out but their barista was late for work. Overall, it was a nice reprieve from my daily existence. Lol!

George at the bar was great. Mareya was great too. Lots of hard working folks. Hotel had rather minimalist accommodations but it was clean. Not walking distance to any restaurants.

Arrived for a company paid trip on 1/9/23. Upon arrival was asked to put a security deposit down on my own card. I did this and had no problem with it as I understand why it had to be done. Today 1/10/23 the hotel charged my card for the entirety of the room and when I went to speak to the manager at the desk he was absolutely no help and basically brushed it off and could not give me an answer as to why my card was charged instead of the companies.

A lovely place to stay. The room was clean & comfy. The bathroom was clean. There's Coffee in the room and a safe for your valuables. Easy access to the highway. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a bad experience with the receptionist here. I called and said I was looking to make a reservation but I have a pet with me. As I was in the middle of asking about the pet policy he forwarded my call to an automated reservation system. I hung up to call back and told him I wasn't done asking my questions yet. I went on to ask about the pet policy. $100 for the pet fee btw. I said thank you for the information and began to say that he could send me to the reservation system now. Well again he didn't finish listening to me and instead of forwarding my call, he hung up on me as if the exchange was over. Well dang, I guess he decided for me that I wasn't going to make a reservation then. I called at 12:04am on 2023-27-04
