The national museum of Unity, Enugu is a very well maintained space I must admit (albeit by our typical standards). Entrance is about 500 for adults and less for kids. The twice I’ve visited , We got the same tour guide both times (I wish I remembered his name). A very knowledgeable and strict tour guide (don’t let him catch you trying to take pictures behind his back😅( I witnessed one…very embarrassing). He is very detailed and we enjoyed the 2021 tour much more as the duo were older so they engaged better. The pieces are maintained , inside the museum rooms are clean, though a tad musty. I wish the place was better lighted and aerated. An added bonus- there have a room for art exhibitions and it changes often enough. Very enjoyable All in all, a wholesome historical experience about Enugu as well as Igbo’s cultural similarities with other tribes , I learnt a lot. We will definitely visit again.

It was splendid. My guide taught me a lot about every stocked materials and the different parts of the museum. Taking pictures was not allowed in the main museum but there's a side gallery I was allowed to do so. It was themed 'Naijagems Enugu' : a travelling exhibition organised by the US Consulate and Lagosphoto

The museum closes at 5pm not 6 as stated. The front desk lady was very rude to me and my friend. She non challantly told us we couldn't see the museum because weather wasn't good (I didn't get the correlation too) and also that she was about to close so we won't be able to see many things before the closing time. All efforts to convince her to let us see as much as time would permit fell onto deaf ears despite we explained to her that we were tourists from another state and won't be able to come the next day. Later we'll say Nigerians aren't appreciating local tourism.

It's a great place for relaxation and entertainment. There's always a live performance on stage every Sunday evening. The bars are filled with assorted drinks of different types, small and big chops including roasted and chickens, fish peppered soup, meat peppered soup etc. The environment is well spacious and conducive.

It was rich in historical relics and the tour guide gave very detailed information about each section we encountered but cameras were not allowed inside which stopped me from making a documentary about my visit there.

Was at the Chairman's office, Mr. Brown Ene, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu State Chapter at the Actors Arena, as one of his revered consultants to have some discussions with him as regards moving the guild forward and how to execute the outlined projects at hand.

Awesome, the governor needs to renovate it, and it's a beautiful tourist attraction. Although no pictures allowed but couldn't help but snap some of my favorite

Located after Ogui Junction on Abakaliki Expressway Enugu. The National Museum of Unity has sit out joints like New Berries, Hilochi Parks and Garden. It is a tourist area site to visit and has a lot of space of occasions and other outdoor activities. All kinds of beverages and drinks, meals (Pepper soup, etc) can be gotten here.

It's a nice place, I didn't go in though but the environment is calm and cool. There is also a hangout spot right at the entrance gate called New Berries park which is great too for relaxation and having a nice time

Nice place for local delicacies. Make sure to try the abacha at the museum side not new berry's. Tell the plumpy girl that I say hello

This museum did a good job in preserving artefacts some dating as far back the 1960s, the staff there were really friendly and made sure that I understood the meaning everything (I'm not an Igbo person lol) The essence of the name "national museum of unity" was portrayed as I saw artefacts from other parts of Nigeria, including the yoruba and akwaibom people, to mention but a few. I'd definitely recommend the museum if you're artsy or just love history

The big compound has well structured partitions. Harbouring some artifacts and good arts records and some good open spaces for organized cultural shows and African artistic displays. Owned by to get Fed Govt of Nigeria but gave spaces to some SME'S to be having daily provisions for African local dishes and other such concerns. Currently undergoing restructuring to curtail unacceptable emerging factors hence the demolition of my some temporal occupied sides outside the main eddifice for better arrangements and total safety and stable positive tourism attractive image.

It's a national asset that is losing its value. Old items are still there to learn few things from just that no regular power supply. So we toured without light but our phone lights

Really enjoy New Berries. All the food prepared there are awesome apart from their goat pepper soup which consists of a few pieces of meat for a high price

It's no longer a museum, the State Government has converted it into a beer parlor known as New berries park. This place is a nice place you can see live performances both cultural n Hip hop musicians, especially on Sunday nights

The concept and the idea behind this museum is good but its not being managed well. A lot of it has to do with the fact that there isn't a enough traffic going to the museum. It has different sections that look at topics like musical instruments across the country, Masquerades and masks. There was unfortunately no light both times i visited making it almost impossible to concentrate on the information being provided by the guide. You are expected to leave your bag at the entrance but they don't have appropriate facilities to keep items

I visited the museum today and honestly I had a nice time. The interior isn't so beautiful but the artifacts met my expectations. However I wasn't allowed to take pictures or videos in the main museum ,but the tour guide took us to a gallery where we were allowed to take pictures. The tour guide was very good! He explained everything very well, was friendly yet professional.

Learnt so much about our history/culture. As history is no longer in the academic curriculum, its a wonderful place to visit. Outside the museum building is a carnival atmosphere with many tented pubs and music

It's a good place for a group hangout. Drinks are relatively cheap. It's has a section for children especially during festive season. Most importantly, it's at the heart of Enugu and easily accessible.
