If you’re someone who wants quiet then it’s a good place for you. It’s beautiful, peaceful with a lot of space and their prices are fair. Although I ordered cow tail pepper soup but was given Pomo pepper soup with a lot of ungrounded pepper of which I’m still trying to understand. They don’t have much food and drink choices. But overall you’ll love it and it’s environment

I really enjoyed my few hours stay at Golden Tulip, it was very quiet and serene, more like where relaxation meets nature. From the poolside, you could easily see the Agulu lake. I didn't lodge so I can tell about the rooms. The service was above average.

Golden Tulip Agulu is 100%. For the fact that they have an elevator and don’t stress their customers with climbing staircases make they 💯💯 World class structure and mapping!! State of the art facility. 1 out of 2 in Anambra state. But the location is a problem because it’s off the capital and more of the rural sub. The rooms are fantastic. I don’t miss the 8:00 🕗 morning breakfast for anything in the world😃😃 am not a foodie😩😩 Golden Tulip just makes me a foodie. Golden Tulip Agulu Lake so far beats all other franchise in Nigeria!!!

Golden Tulip Hotels is located in Agulu, Anaocha LGA of Anambra State. It's is located on the banks of Agulu Lake, has a width of about 7km and is endowed with different species of crocodiles and fish. The lake is the source of Idemili River, which empties into the River Niger. Its beautiful scenery makes it a great place for picnics with family and friends. Fishing is not allowed on the lake and the crocodiles, being sacred animals to the people, cannot be killed. Legend says that these crocodiles were instrumental in delivering the town from enemy soldiers during the Nigerian civil war. Visit here today with your family and friends to receive the best treats.

Fantastic location with underutilised opportunities od the nearby lake and surroundings. Well built and good layout, however very poor, dirty and warn state carpets on all three floors! They should be completely removed and tiled like the ground floor. Pleasant staff however lacked professional training. As part of a large group booking, it was a busy checking-in. We were given room 205. On getting to room, and opening the door, we were shocked to see the state of the room that had not been cleaned at all . Dirty beddings, plates, empty bottles and the smell of "after" alcohol filled the room. How the room was brought back into service for a new guest was beyond me. Equaly not impressive was their intial approach to resolving this. The hotel has potential and i wish it success, a lot can and needs to be done. P.s lift broke down on 2nd day.. thankfully there are only three floors!

My first time in this facility, was memorable. Serenity of environment, by the mystical Agulu Lake and located 15 minutes from Awka, Anambra State (Nigeria) capital. Also, less than 40 minutes drive from Anambra Airport. The room I stayed in was the standard room and in excellent condition. Service was top notch with Chidera at the front desk and her team. Breakfast is buffet and complimentary. A nine hole golf course will make the place more sort after as a weekend get away. Will certainly visit again for a longer time.

It was a beautiful outing and my first visit to the place. It is located near Agulu Lake. It is underused because of its location. Beautiful structures on a very expansive area. Nice dishes served with cold drinks. It has so much space for outdoor activities and some good sittingarrangements outside the building. There is also a wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible parking. They have good and neat attendants who serve cordially well. There are accommodations of different costs and tastes. It has two lawn tennis courts, a swimming pool and a place for Shawamar preparation beside the swimming pool. It has very good security. It is a good place to go and chill out avoiding the noise of the city. It is a quiet and serene place. It is such a place one can go and rest without distractions. My most memorable time in this office, was paramount. Tranquility of climate, by the mysterious Agulu Lake and found a short ways from Awka, Anambra State (Nigeria) capital. Likewise, under 40 minutes drive from Anambra Air terminal. The room I remained in was the standard room and in brilliant condition. Administration was first class with Chidera at the front work area and her group. Breakfast is buffet and free. A nine opening green will make the spot more sort after as an end of the week move away. Will surely visit again for a more drawn out time frame.

The last time I visited I called to place my like an hour before my arrival and when I got there I was told I had to wait for another 45mins simply because the kitchen lady just got back from the market. So i decided to order the bbq fish. Came real fast and delicious but after eating they had no soap to wash my hands with. It took they another 1hour to get soap. This isn't nice for a place like Golden Tulip. They need to work on there service and availability. Thanks

Golden Tulip is a brand I am very proud of. But the Agulu lake Tulip can't be compared to either the Port Harcourt Tulip or Lagos Tulip. The pool area has so much house flies flying around and they don't serve with "drinking glass cover". Secondly, the space at the Bush Bar is wasting and the hut almost falling apart; the management should sit up, imbibe maintenance culture and maximize the space available Golden Tulip is a big brand and should not be let down
