Stayed in the Presidential Suite. It was okay. The suya and barbecue fish is good. The curry sauce is good as well. Be prepared to go up a lot of steps if you are in the fourth floor. They have power 24 - 7. Be prepared to wait 1 hour for your food, because they make them after you order (maybe this is a Nigerian thing), but it is worth the wait. Pack your swim wear....they have a good pool. The beds are very hard. If you are here in December....you will not need the AC open the window and enjoy the the cool harmattan wind.

It's a bit old but still very functional. Clean sheets and towel. Good Airconditioners. Nice outdoor. What more can u want from a hotel. And the service was prompt too

Great pool side bar, affordable and tasty meals, I say affordable cause for a hotel that large you'd think the meals would be too expensive. Great service.

I love the environment and the location, just behind the Governor's Lodge. I was at the pool side earlier today. The building is very good. The waiters were nice and lovable. The turn off was that the drinks weren't very chilled and the bar restroom toilets didn't have water, but it's still a beautiful hotel.

Great ambience, neat rooms, beautiful environment. The food though.. The fried rice is good but the jollof rice was stale. And poor network connection in the rooms

If you're looking for a picture spot, that's the place for you. It has a wonderful scenery and very serene. Oh! And the workers are very courteous. You should check out the pool as well. It's really clean. I would have given it a 5-star but the shawarma I had there was really trashy. 1,700 but it was flat, small and didn't taste good. But you can manage it if you're so hungry (that's what i did) 😂

The hotel is nice enough, but I had to change rooms at some point because of black mold in the bathroom. The food is good and affordable though. The environment is also very serene and secure.

Good meals.... Isolated and out of town. Great for a seminar. If you are looking for a view, then there is nothing to see.

Great. The services are encouraging and satisfactory. The lodging is good. The staff are respectful and good to mingle with. The hotel is well situated at a secured location. The rooms are okay with safe, cupboard and others you need to enjoy your lodging. It is well secured with an alternative power supply, making them fit to be described as 24 hours functional.

It was a wonderful experience. Though the facilities are a little rundown because of age but still enjoyed the ambience. I will love to come again some other time.

Trig Point Hotel is one with an awesome experience. Though I spent few moments there but they were worth the while. Service was great, environment very okay, security was also topnotch -maybe because it's very close to the Governor's Lodge 😉 The only challenge for me was the road which was smooth but traffic prone. When I visit Awka again, I'll love to visit Trig Point for at least a night.

Rooms were manageable. The bathroom floor was broken and felt like it would sink into the ground. The pool has a barrier around it, and that's a good and safe one. However, when we checked out, we were stopped as we drove out of the premises because they found a pink stain on their towel! 😨 The security at the gate was told not to let us out. I don't know if they wanted us to go back and wash the towel or buy them some bleach or order a washing machine, because I couldn't even understand what they wanted us to do about a silly freaking stain their towel. I've never heard or encountered this in any hotel worldwide. I was disappointed to say the least.

My Fitbit was stolen by the guy who brought room service to me at night. I reported to the front desk the next morning and they promised to call me back with the result of their investigations, but I never heard again from them. Customer service is non existent, and guard your valuables wella!

  • 2/5 Udochukwu O. 4 years ago on Google
Their customer service is terrible. The hotel isn't encouraging, has a foul smell oozing around the reception area and a few other places in the hotel. Their food is not all that great, except for their indomie (that's fair) vegetable soup (that's good), toasted bread (okay).

👍 Good place. Neat, presentable and chic. I'll recommend this place. Apparently, they have a couples room that has a see through bathroom. First that I've seen. However, they have an issue with hot water. No hot water during my entire stay. So make sure you ask if the problem has been fixed before pa...

😠 The hotel has very bad management. It's takes an average of 1:30hr to get food. It takes a minimum of 45mins to get a towel and the entire hotel has a maximum of 4 staff on duty. It's the worse hotel I have ever stayed my entire life.
