It is indeed a luxury hostel with nice management and clean environs (the compound and passages are cleaned daily). There's also always light and a standby lister. The only issue is that when water isn't pumped well, those in the last floor don't get water and the water is dirty, I feel like it's typical for most places in Awka but they treat the water sometimes.

One of the best hostel I have seen so far, with such great infrastructures. Nice security to top with it and a neat environments. Keep up the good work Elmada and we hope to see more of this kind of hostels in unizik

It's a very nice and comfortable hostel in UNIZIK

Elmada hostel is a private hostel located in UNIZIK. Has ample provision of light, water and convenience shops to shop on the go. However, its geographical location makes finding transportation a bit yard to come by since it's mostly in isolation and surrounded by Zero buildings and vast forests. There are signs that this will change soon though.

Safe and perfect for freshers. You should consider moving out as you approach your 3rd year so you can experience what it is to live in a Nigerian society.

Quite conducive Environment, well organized hostel for use. Good security network.

Shared hostel inside Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Male and Female residence halls, line next to each other. Max and Min of two occupants per room. Kitchen isn't located inside the rooms and is shared by all occupants on each floor.

Can't say much though, but they do have a Steady light supply, good roads, cool environment with modernized hostels.

The environment is serene and quiet. Well organized.

Elmada doesn't deserve a 5 star, but deserves a 3 star, water isn't 100% clean and we all know water is everything. There is also steady light and it has a dirty back yard. Tank water is full of worms which is terrible

Their services are wack. Forget the outer look and all, that place is not properly managed at all. You fetch your water from a tank outside the hostel and on some days, you don't get light. Whatever promises were made to you on the site, just think of the opposite that's the reality. Of course the only benefit is that the hostel is in a serene location. Beyond that, living there is just plain terrible.

The management is extremely poor. Before anything gets fixed in your room, it will take days. The water is pooor

Emelda it's a good hostel. There's light, security but when it comes to water, rarely rushes and if it does, dirty. Emelda, something has to be done with the water, it's not hygienic at all but apart from this, every other thing is OK and it's very comfortable.

Structurally ok, secured; since it's inside school, very poor management... Be ready to stay home for about two more weeks after resumption since they don't Keep up with school calendar; they really need to step up with their management games

Unorganised receptionists No furnished common room Receptionist office is not furnished Reception Room is very dark and gloomy New inmates were asked to come in on Saturday 2nd July 2021 but turned back on reaching there on the ground that plumbing is not completed. This included those from far-away. Hostel not fenced. No recreation activity like table tennis, badminton, squash, chess, minj gym facilities etc.
