It’s a very cool place to stay. It’s pretty neat. Oooh their food is tasty but it takes time. I guess it’s because they are overwhelmed during my stay. It’s located in a cool environment. But the only thing I don’t like about the hotel is that the premises is crowded from evening. You can’t even get a place to park as a guest. Which is not cool. The pool side bar is usually busy every night. I noticed that is common with must of the big hotels in Asaba. And also their AC takes sometime to pick up when you come into the room. Takes about 5mins... They really need to cut down on that relay time. Apart from this things i really enjoyed my stay. i will recommend it. And to my surprise it’s affordable. And their customer service is good.

Very hands on trainers. They are also very friendly. They have also been able to build a community that supports each other in and out of the gym. Amazing place!

The poolside was where I had chilled for the evening The Live Band was on point for sure, clean sound and precise delivery. The outdoor sitting is a cool place to hangout with a group of up to 15 people as it has the tables setting Also has cushion chairs for those that just want a house feel by the pool. The indoor sitting by the Bar, has various sitting areas as well. It is a good place to even sit and chill with the family

The room is well maintained, and reasonably sized but clustered with unneeded furniture. Great parking space. Neat with functional facilities and highly secured hotel. Though I visited with high expectations of the brand name, unfortunately it wasn't to be. The sound coming from the bar was unbearable. Almost asked for a refund made for a long stay but the customers service reps & Mgr were excellent and professional, which encouraged my stay. I will repeat visit, since I who what to expect without surprises. I'll recommend it.

If you're looking for a home away from your home, Golden Tulip Asana matches the search. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But their dinning policy is Abit unfriendly. If you're two in a room, you only have tea cup for one person and only one person is entitled to their breakfast. Just saying this so that you'll know how well to prepare. Overall, the hotel is neat, quiet and peaceful.

I'm not sure the Golden Tulip franchise is really working here! Great facade but the interior is not it at all! From leaking window unit AC to smelly passages to colored bath water etc etc. The light went off at least 5 times overnight and the AC has a delay of 5 mins to come back after light came back, no remote for AC in the room. Ramp to the entrance is so high and security men are lousy. Not really a good experience

Their life band is unbeatable, food here is very delicious. Breakfast buffet is well arranged and neat too, the staffs and domestic worker's are down to earth. Let me show you a picture of their white soup. Their kitchen chef salary should be increased because whosoever it is the person is more than a Cook

Great Gym, though it's more of a fitness center with excellent trainers and coaches, their drills will get your muscles working again. The Mantra is to Go hard or go home. The energy level within the Gym is 100% all the time. the sounds in the gym from high decibel speakers to the grinning from the yoga classes generate extra energy for you.

Nice and cozy place to hole up if even you are in asaba. The rooms are great for the price and the food is really nice.

A nice place to stay within budget. Workers displayed professional and commendable attitude to guests. However, their shower has low water pressure. I saw this comment before lodging at the hotel and thought it was a one-off experience by the reviewer but I was surprised to also experience the issue too. The hotel can address the problem by installing power showers.

Asaba has become the hub for those escaping the Monday sit at home in the Eastern states. Business meetings that will otherwise hold across the Niger is now held in Asaba.

  • 4/5 Collins N. 2 years ago on Google
Clean. It was clean. Really nice bed I must say so good sleep quality expected. My challenge wa that the music from the pool area kept me up and distracted until about 1am. Two nights at that property with same experince and it was not even a Friday. I guess they need to sound proof the rooms or something. Room service was prompt and breakfast was not bad....regular meal. Overall a nice place to stay. Staff were alert and helpful I must add.

Comfortable and secure hotel located at the heart of Asaba, Delta State. Close proximity to the airport, Shoprite, and other facilities. Courteous, respectful, and professional staff. Daily homekeeping. The only issue for me is the daily loud sounds from the pool bar, as I love tranquility.

This a great place for shows, events or bridal showers on a budget. The cheapest room here is 15k as a discounted rate. There are board rooms and conference/reception halls according to sizes and different budgets. There is also a restaurant and bar at the ground floor for dinning in or room service.

The nightlife there is a memory to be relived, I had an enjoyable and wonderful stay at the bar with the Live band and snooker tables. One of the best so far, I highly recommend.

  • 3/5 Ibeh L. 1 year ago on Google
If you're booking here because you've been in other Golden Tulip hotels, this is not the same. This one in Benin looks like an old hotel slapped with a golden tulip sign post. It's uncoordinated, not so clean, has bad network and an old look. The peppersoup I got was terrible....I didn't know the animal in it but it wasn't goat. The main reception staff were pleasant though

There was a live band playing at the hotel on Sunday night that deprived me of sleep (I asked and noted there's some level of entertainment on weekends). Also a group of young boys on my floor contributed to the noise

A high class hotel. A pool side bar and an indoor bar. The pool side bar is the best I've seen in a while. The landscape is mind-blowing. Nice DJ with quality sound. Tryout their BBQ fish.

Golden Tulip is about 10mins from the Asaba airport which is excellent for people like me who don't like sitting in the airport for long.

  • 2/5 Audifax O. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel is in a perfect location for travellers but has the most unprofessional staff that I have seen in the hospitality industry. I booked a room for family stay well ahead of time and reconfirmed the booking with firm assurance of availability. On my way from Lagos to Asaba along Benin Bypass, I got a call from the hotel that my reservation had been cancelled and the rooms no longer available. I was shocked 😳 πŸ™„ πŸ˜’ and confused at the same time but had to manage my reaction 😬 😬 because of my family.

Had an uncomfortable stay at this property. It takes more than an hour to get the food ordered. The simplest of the menu which was an Indomie(noodles) took 2 hours to be served. The hotel site has a party area where loud music is played disturbs sleep at night. Better to avoid if you are allergic to noisy nights.

  • 2/5 Nwechi V. 1 year ago on Google
The service Is very poor, the rooms are small and if you have issues sleeping with loud noise ... don't bother lodging In this hotel... the music from the bar is so loud plus there are no sound proof doors.

Golden Tulip quiet, cuzzy and also nice. A place for business and pleasure too. The annex section is not a great as the main building.

I feel a bit sad writing this review because the staff are amazing! The customer service is second to none, one of the best friendly staff I have come across in my times of travel, but truth be told, the hotel rooms are hygiene disaster, used sheets were reused, there were stains all over, the bed covering is black, the whites sheets are stained, a huge refused dump was behind my window and I was moved to a supposed better room but it was the same, the bathroom was so bad I refused to have a shower, thank God I only booked a night just to see what the hotel is like before extending my stay, this is a secret I have worked with for long and it's worked so well, attached photos are pictures I took on the 26th of December 2023, the owners need to shut this place down and get to rebuild, anyone saying this hotel is nice, is either related to the owner or doesn't know any better. The only decent thing in the hotel is the lobby and corridor.

It's a place of comfort and splendor. It's suitable for relaxation, a home away from home. It is equipped with all the necessities of life with mouth-watering meals, both African and Continental. The accommodation fee is reasonably good in comparison to other such five-star hotels within the city.
