I had a wonderful time here. From the entrance I knew I was in for a thrilling experience. The canopy walk was perfect blend of excitement and anxiety for me. Then climbing the tree house was another intriguing adventure. The highlight for me was seeing the life tortoise.

I didn't really know what to expect when I decided to visit Lekki Conservation centre.. I was amazed at how big the space is. I really admire the fact that they are taking care of the swamp. The swamp is big and I love the conservation of it. There's also high canopy walks. I was literally hiking canopy walks. It was scary and thrilling as well. Do dress appropriately fit the canopy walk/hike. To start with, the tour guide will take you through the history and guidelines of the place. They would then walk with you through the swamp with multiple opportunities to take pictures. They'll then take you through the canopy walk. If you're a big team, you'll be split into groups of six. Only six people can walk on the canopy at a time. After the canopy walks, there's a sitting area to relax as you're given a brief of the next places. You'll then make your way to the fish ponds. You'll pass by places where you can buy food and drinks. The field is also filled with games you can play as a couple or in a group and plenty of sitting areas. After the fish ponds, you can visit the tree house. You get an opportunity to climb the tree house, take pictures at the top and just relax. Going up is a bit easy but coming down is the actual challenge. I think the management can do a better job in maintaining the field and the games. A lot of the games were not in good condition which was unfortunate. However, I liked the fact that they had plastic collection spots at different locations in the conservancy. Kudos to Rotary for their donations!

Definitely still an exhilarating adventure to embark upon. Moreover the thrill is captivating enough to car your mind away from the deterioration of some parts that need to be worked on. Also the park seems to be encroached by the forest gradually. However I hope something can be done to the twine railings on the canopy walk the dirt sweat and circus of germs might be unhealthy for some.

Wow!!! Mind blowing experience 🤗 Lekki Conservation Center Lagos is the longest canopy walkway in Africa, oh!! Yes you heard me right. It good for tourism 👌🏿, to gain access to the reserve is a token of N1,000 and to access the canopy walk you have to pay additional N1,000. We didn’t make a reservation before going, we were told to wait for 30-45min before our tour guard came and you aren’t allow to bring food inside the reserve. We only paid for the canopy walk because we came late, the experience was mind blowing and scary at the same time because I haven’t experience it before. There is a family park where you can cool off after the tour and they sell foods(not solid food) and drinks. There are also floor games ranging from Ludo, draft and chess ♟. There are monkeys 🐒 everywhere, there are super smart and will grab anything from your hand, so beware. The pond is filled with beautiful fishes. We were told there are some animals like crocodiles 🐊, snakes 🐍 and lot more, but we only saw some monkeys 🐒 and fishes. The experience was wonderful and mind blowing, we didn’t planned to visit but am happy we did, my sisters loved 🥰 the whole experience, will definitely recommend to anyone because it is a great spot for hangout with families and friends.

This is a wild life conservation centre where you can feel and experience nature at it's purest form. You take a walk through the forest to get to the family park where there is a big field with restaurants and games for children and adults. The family park is a great place to go for picnics, birthdays and other outings. There are 3 ways to get to the family park; through (1) Nature walk (2) Canopy walk (3) Motor way. About 2km distance and about 30 minutes canopy walk and 15 minutes nature walk. The entrance to begin nature and canopy walk is same except that the nature walk branched to the left while canopy walk is straight ahead and a you require separate tickets for both. The Nature walk is more convenient for those scared of heights cos you'll be walking on a plank walkway through the forest to the family park and you'll feel jungle and see as many monkeys as possible 😉... The monkeys look harmless; don't try to feed or scare them. The Canopy walk is adventurous and fun especially for those that aren't scared of heights. There are 6 stopping/resting points along the path and the first 4 sections are in ascending order with the last 3 are in descending order before getting to the end of the canopy. At the end, you'll have to proceed to the family park on the plank walkway ahead (don't branch), the branch on the right leads back to the main gate (Exit). The Motor way is a motorable road to get the the family park. It's convenient for those who came with food items and also those who don't want to exit through the forest. It's adventurous & fun and the games available are quite interesting too.

The scenery is just lovely. A must visit place for tourists and fun lovers. Ticket sale closes 4.30pm so you'd have to come earlier. Pay the extra 1k to climb the canopy bridge, you won't regret it 😉.

Wonderful place. The canopy walk is not for the feint of heart, tho. But there are giant chessboards, playful (thievin') monkeys and monkey bars to explore and observe

Nice place to visit as a team. Has the best canopy walkway but not advisable if afraid of heights. Access to the canopy walkway is closed when it's rainy. The family park has sufficient space for people to do various outdoor activities. If planning to be there for many hours, you need to be creative on the type of activities to engage in as viewing and taking the canopy walkway will cost you around 2 hours of your time.

Small and short hike. The view at the canopy is great (the canopy walk is the highlight, don't skip this). Too many people making noise that you can't really enjoy the nature setting, therefor could not see any wildlife other than q specie of monkey.

It's a thrilling experience really. The hanging walkway is an truly an experience, I don't necessarily want to experience it again anytime soon but it's something that I'd recommend to anytime who's looking to have a good thrill and a rush of dopamine

LCC Is great for people that enjoy the feel of nature. It’s very sandy so wearing appropriate shoes would help, you’re unlikely to see animals apart from monkeys, because animals are not caged here and kept in their natural environment. There’s a tree house to climb for kids and also the second longest canopy walk in Africa, this isn’t for the faint hearted and children younger than twelve are not allowed. In all it’s a fun nature outing with a sitting area for those that want to have picnics. They also have large game boards and a tennis table. It’s great to go in groups.

It's a great place for adventure. You can climb up to the tree house and canopy walkway. It's really fun. I loved every bit of it, I climbed the tree house, and I walked on the Canopy walkway. There's a basketball and volleyball play area in the family park. The monkeys are triggered by food in your hand, so if you want to be chased by them, hold a nylon of food, please don't try this because I saw a lady being chased by monkeys because of the food in her nylon and it wasn't funny at all, she was terrified. Awesome place in general.

I went here on a rainy day, didn’t expect it to rain but it did. The canopy wall was so scary, I don’t think I’ll ever try that again.. my friend and I couldn’t even bring out our phone for pictures, that was the least of our worries. Was so happy when it ended. I love that you can get street snacks around.. and you get to see animals during the walk. Generally it was a fun day.

I have been here thrice and it was nice. The environment is serene with a lot of monkeys. There is a peacock and tortoise that is always wandering around. The canopy walk is always fun because you will always meet different types of people on it; the ones that thought they are brave until they discovered they have fear of height, the cheerleaders, the indifferent. I recommend going there on a weekend around 11-12pm, when you will have just the right amount of people around, everywhere starts to get a bit over crowded from around 2pm.

Beautiful nature reserve. I didn't go on the walk across the canopy because I am afraid of heights. I also had food from an area where there were several food vendors. Food was delicious. Beware of the monkeys. They may snatch food from your hand or plate

Took my son on a field trip to Lufasi and it was great. Affordable and everywhere looked really maintained, staff were friendly and Nike our tour guide was patient, warm and had a great knowledge of the place, we went on a weekday so it was practically empty which was perfect for social distancing. I recommend the place if you need some time in nature or want to bring your kids to explore.

This is for the adventurous minds. It's a place of beauty where nature is at its best. Monkeys, peacocks, tortoise and lot more animals welcome you with a smile. The canopy walk was awesome but not for those with fear. The sky walk Bridge was an incredible experience. In a nut shell. You will not regret coming here even if it's for the pictures. The entry fee is 1000 naira and another 1000 for canopy walk. Also don't come alone. Come with your friends and u can also have picnic here. Great for sight seeing and vacations.

This is a big tourist centre in Lagos. The longest canopy walk in Africa. Really fun and adventurous. You need to beware of the monkeys though. The canopy walk was fun and really scary but then, that's the fun of it 😄. You'll surely love to be here. The beauty nature along with its peaceful and relaxing aura is something you don't want to miss. You should also try climbing the tree house. It's quite an experience.

Beautiful places and more importantly keeping and preserving nature in its original form. The canopy walkway is the longest in Africa , and there are interesting games in the garden, like chess , Ludo etc (Big ones) You can see the beautiful big tortoise playing around the entrance, and monkeys jumping here and there, it’s a really nice place to be if you love nature. Also ask about the tree house.

It was an awesomely scary experience. The height was crazy but adrenaline pumping made it all fun. Met beautiful people and took a lot of pictures. The guides were okay. The place does need a little more maintenance but overall I like how nature was preserved. The monkeys were on rampage stealing our shawarmas and roast plantains and it was funny as hell.

Nice place within the city of Lagos but you get a feel that you are far from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Good for a day picnic though they are still recovering some facilities after the pandemic. The canopy walk is still thrilling after having it done few times in the past.

I really enjoyed the canopy walk, although it is not for the faint of heart. Asides the staff at some points of the canopy, I barely saw any other ones throughout the tour. The lady that took us on the tour before the walk, was very nonchalant and was probably tired and also didn't say much. It's best to go here in a group in order to fully enjoy yourself.

I came here back in 2018 and it was such a fun outdoor experience. We were grouped for a guided tour on the canopy walk, which is Africa's longest, and was the highlight of the day for me. Let me tell you from start to finish there wasn't a dull moment, honestly the whole group was hilarious. Definitely hoping to come back soon. 10/10 recommend

You will have the opportunity to get in touch with nature. A long walk to the canopy walk entrance and then the family park. The canopy walk is the longest in Africa. If you have a fear for heights, please don't try this. Stay calm and you will be fine. At the family park, you can sit and have a picnic. You can also have barbecue, drinks and coconut water Kids are also not left out with a few rides, trampoline and bouncy castle. There is also a tree house and fish pond. PS: There are a lot of monkeys freely moving that can grab your stuff and run with it especially food items so be careful. Other than that, its a fun place when you go in a group.

This is nature at it's best!!!! Monkeys swinging in the trees. A really fun place to be for everyone, family and friends. The canopy walkway is the longest in Africa. It's quite scary but definitely worth it. There's a family park where you can just chill and even play a game of chess. The sun filler you'll get here is divine. I loved it here, it was definitely an adventure.

It's a good touch with nature, the canopy walk is scary as it gets higher. It's best to go with friends so u can all scream together. There are guide all along the way, snacks are not allowed on the canopy, monkeys are around to steal snacks from you if you're holding any. The gate fee is about 2000naira for adult to have a full experience and you have to book online to have access (if going as a group, one person books and state how many people are accompanying), payment can be made in the booking office after your booking is confirmed (POS or cash). There is a big Tilapia pond at the family park, and there's alot of larger than life size games you can play. For this covid period bring music and all your fun.

For a nature seeking/loving individual, definitely a fun place to be at. I enjoyed the long walk on the bridge, while siting monkeys swinging over the trees and seeing a tortoise casually moving around. There is also a family park, which has the perfect ambience for a family or romantic picnic (for this, I would recommend early morning or a work day, when there are less people there). The icing on the cake for me was the canopy walk, which a steel built raised bridge of over 400metres and goes high above the trees. It was both a walk out and refreshing experience from the typical Lagos hustle and bustle. Please note, the Canopy walk is not for the faint hearted and should be avoided by persons with health issues (my opinion). I would definitely visit again.

It is a wonderful place for relaxation. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed the Canopy walk even though I was scared of heights. There are attendants who check and maintain the railings daily. The place looks a bit old but is well maintained. The animals were shy to come out except for the monkeys who freely roamed the forest. You have to be careful when carrying food items and phones, the mischievous monkeys could snatch it from you. The gate fee is quite affordable (1,500 during the festive period for adults and additional 1,500 for the canopy walk). Hope to visit here when next I come to Lagos.

The centre is a nice place to visit. You simply cannot miss it. Entry into the waiting area was free but payment for special tags is required to go on the canopy walk or the nature walk. It was #1500 for nature walk and #3000. COVID protocols are not fully enforced. The family park is a great place to have get-togethers with giant board games to have fun with. Basketball and tennis courts are also there. Fish ponds are also there as well. The place needs more maintenance but still a fun place to be.

If you need your adrenaline to pump faster than ever, you want your life to flash right in your eyes in a safe yet dangerous way? Lekki conservation centre is for you. It's an amazing place to visit, the walkway is scary but the fulfillment that comes when you complete it is beautiful and better experienced than read. Don't go with kids, go on weekdays preferably, keep your phones in your pockets, avoid going with too much eatables( the monkeys are mischievous thieves). I have visited twice and the experience has been amazing (their maintenance culture is nice). Go and enjoyyyy...

This is a very good initiative to conserve this ecosystem. I really appreciate that. It has well designed parking lots. Though they say they open by 8:30am, they actually won't start until 10am. The canopy Skywalk is the best... But a lot of people are disappointed by not seeing more of the animals apart from few monkeys and fish pond... Instead of the ones in their natural habitat... Snakes and crocodiles. The hut at the family area needs repairs and same with the floor games. But it worth the trouble.

Lekki conservation centre is definitely a good place to visit. If the custodians of this beautiful centre read reviews, I want use this opportunity to inform there's great opportunities to improve on the way the tour carry out their duties. Installation of a zip line as something fun for visitors to do will yield great revenue source. Signs should be put on pathways as the tour guides leave you wandering by yourself most of the time.

This is a really good tourist attraction. The view is amazing. So u get to walk the longest canopy walk in Africa and possibly make new friends, and there is a spacious family park where u could hang out with friends. I loved seeing the monkeys moving about freely. The atmosphere is just clean and makes u happy. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I advise u to bring your own drink so u don't pay double the price. And yes lots of pictures.

The canopy walk was quite fun and energetic. It felt like a lot of exercise. You’ll need water.Lol. I would do it again. It’s a nice activity. It is the longest canopy walk in Africa. And it felt like it ??????? But........ there weren’t many animals. Basically, just monkeys and fish. Quite poor for a conservation experience. The game pieces are poorly maintained. The chess and draft pieces are in tatters literally. There aren’t a lot of recreational activities and limited amount of refreshments available. They need to do a lot more to improve their quality. It deserves better services. I’m hoping they improve soon because I would love a better experience

It's really nice...is what I'd like to say, but that's literally because I think it's some of the best Nigeria has to offer. There's a lotta green, and a lotta monkeys, but it feels more like disorganized chaos than nature, with dead leaves and the occasional piece of garbage on the floor. It's a cool place to go for picnics or some innocent fun, don't get your hopes up tho.

Entry is 1,000 naira and you will pay extra 1,000 naira to have access to the canopy walk but you will have to book online before your visit. The longest canopy walk in Africa. There are game areas suitable for a picnic with family and friends.

If you're a lover of outdoors, environment and biodiversity, then this is for you. There are lots of fun things to do here. First, you could sit in the open park just at the entrance of the park. If you must here, you must be careful because of the monkeys. The centre has a very rich library. You can access it with an annual membership fee of 7,500 Naira. The canopy walk is scary and amazing at the same time. It's better experienced than told. There is also the tree house and it is my favorite place. LCC is ideal for group picnics, dates excursions.

Lufasi Nature Park is really a park as the name implies. Very clean and cared for. A good place to relax and enjoy nature. The areas I love most are the forest bath the Lake. It is usually very busy on weekends than on week days. The summer time is also the best time to visit. During the rainy season it can be muddy in some area.

It is a very serene space. The sound of the wind beating the trees is so relaxing and can be enjoyed on an abundance of benches. The clean air makes you realize that you might have just been taking in poison all this time int he city. Despite it being a peck period on Sunday, when we went, the number of people did not in anyway detract from the serenity, and the staff were more than willing to take us around. Even though you would need to do quite a considerable amount of walking to see the entire space. It is well worth it for the 1,000 naira gate fee.

The canopy walk was an interesting adventure, the park was beautiful and there was provision for sitting under huts, there were games one could play. Most importantly the serenity and being surrounded by so much nature and it was therapeutic. The monkeys made it more fun.

Beautiful serene environment, where one needs to visit to get in touch with nature. It was such beauty I had to leave some fun for next time 😜 A great nature's delight human-animal interaction is so beautiful interwoven. The canopy walk was such fun, but I kept telling myself; I wasn't doing it again 🤭 The registration at the entrance to enable records for future reference was above and beyond. The staffs were such warm and had us calm throughout my stay. Thanks to the management for keeping this spirit and place alive.....

Woow! I love the nature here. Live monkeys snatching people's food and snacks. The canopy walk was extreme for me; the height is frightening but great adventure. Another scary height here is the Three house which is like 60ft off the ground when you climb the ladder. The family park is a cool place to relax and have a taste of different snacks, grills, food and drinks. Generally, It was a great time out to have fun with nature.

Lekki Conversation Center remains one of the finest sites to enjoy nature. Is located at Km 19 on the Lekki-Epe Expressway. The conservation center is open from 8:30 am to 5 p.m daily. Another formation about Lekki Convention Center is the canopy walkway features six towers that rise over 22 feet each. They are connected by a series of suspended (and swinging) walkways that offer a unique (if somewhat harrowing) 360-degree view of this part of the world from high above the treetops. The treetop walk stretches about 1,315 feet long (more than three and a half football fields), setting the record for the longest on the African continent. The Center was established in 1990 by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation. The center also preserves a large part of the region’s biodiverse coastal ecosystem and educates visitors on the importance of coexisting with nature. The reserve is home to a plethora of wildlife, including monkeys, tortoises, and rare birds. .

Nature serving you the best. On a previous visit, I did climb the canopy and it was an amazing view from the top. The tree house was a cool way to master hand to eye to leg coordination as it required a level of concentration. I would have expected more from the conservationists around the picnic area. Instructions had it that nylons, plastics should not be dropped. I was surprised to see vendors sell consumables in plastic. N.B: Recycling containers can be made available. Guards should man strategic areas to ensure compliance to rules of the park and prevent accidents.

The calmness of the environment. I could literally perceive fresher air away from the bustling Lagos city. The monkeys and other few animals were worth admiring. The canopy walk was long, scary but exciting. I also claimed the tree house which was really high. I could see the canopy walk and guests from the tree house view. It was really an amazing experience.

If you love to connect with natural habitat, then this is a place to consider. You may end up not seeing most of the animals in this habitat, but you sure will feel the ambience of nature around you. Best time to visit ia during weekdays as the place can be really crowded on weekends. Parking is likely going to be a big issue on weekends when patrons of the park can be on the high side

Don't Do "I too know" LCC Lekki is more enjoyable during Sunny Weather/Season The monkey are friendly The trees are well planted and labeled The restrooms are clean The environment are clean The walk way needs a lot of work to be done on it... as many of the logs are not too strong again. There should be a provision of showing Documentary about LCC Lekki in the waiting hall before tourist embark on the tour. Thanks

It was a fun experience taking the canopy walk and being several heights above the ground. Although, it's not as high in meters as was stated. The conservation center needs some maintenance and upgrading. It's a wonderful place to have picnic with the family but keep your 2-year-old and under at home, please, especially if you intend to go on the canopy walk. Also, I wouldn't advise going with food, the monkeys won't let you eat in peace.

It was a wholesome experience. The canopy walk was the highlight of the conservation center and it was an adventurous experience that I enjoyed but I don’t want to try again. The entry fee is two thousand five hundred naira (N2,500) and the fee for the canopy work is two thousand five hundred naira (N2,500) which totals as five thousand naira (N5,000) per person.

An amazing place. I enjoyed the canopy walk experience. Lekki conservation centre is a place I have always loved to visit in Nigeria. Its worth it. It was amazing seeing monkeys moving freely. I would recommend lekki conservation centre to anyone who visits Lagos. I was also able to play the tennis and the ludo at the family park. Families and group of people come here for picnics and hangouts. They also have a good lavatory system.

Great idea to conserve the environment. They have the longest canopy walkway in Africa. Nice place to visit as a group. Ideal for adults, teenagers can cope. Not a fun place for kids. Because you have to walk long distances. You have to go with your games and fun stuff. You can only get chicken and chips, not much food variety. Beware of the monkeys, they steal perfectly. Only monkeys are the visible animals.

Well, the above was an advice which I and my friends touring didn't heed until we got to the gathers and couldn't pass coz the monkeys were attracted to the snacks and drinks we were carrying... I gave a 4 star review because the guides weren't communicating with us. Unlucky that the tree house was locked because it was due for maintenance. However, this is a place I would love to go, time and time again. I went alone, and I could say it's a good place to think about your life and have a deep reflection whilst under the canopy of nature. The canopy walk also was exciting and in all, it's a fun place to be.

Location of the famed longest canopy walkway in Africa. It’s always nice coming to LCC. There is a new curiosity to engage every time. If you are thinking about coming here regularly in Lagos, a useful hack to saving money is to get a membership card that gives you full access to use the grounds for small family parties, free access to the walkway to you and your family and a couple other benefits. It’s generally a great deal as the membership is not expensive.

This is a place to visit, a good tourist attraction with the longest canopy walk in Africa and second longest in the world. Some of the facilities/woodworks are getting old and decaying by the day and this can be taken care of as there's room for improvement. Walking through the canopy walk is a great experience, one everyone should experience except you're afraid of heights or you have high blood pressure. If you do not want to go through the canopy walk, there's a family park where there are relaxation spots named according to known streets in Lagos, small chops as well as drinks are sold there. Monkeys can be seen all over the centre as well as fish ponds in the family park.

The quality of personnel service leaves more to be desired and the Canteen had a funky smell but the Canopy walk and the barbecue after was worth it and the Treehouse experience was lovely. Dont bring a snack you won't eat in your car. The Monkeys will get ya

The environment is serene, and eco friendly. The canopy walk is scary and breathtaking but worth the experience. A major fall back is poor maintenance culture as there were some filt and we heard some creaky sounds in one of the stages of the canopy walk. Also, no tour guard followed us through the walk and there was no provision for emergency response should there be need for one. Also, expected to see some wildlife but only saw monkeys and a peacock

Beautiful isolation from the hustle and noise of Lagos. Management is losing control of the place and more focused on their revenue than in making the place a source of revenue. You'll easily see monkeys and a few other beautiful creatures. Nice work that needs to be kept nice

  • 5/5 Yvonn A. 3 years ago on Google
If you like a quiet walk with nature, then this is the place. If you're more of an adrenaline junkie like me, this is also the place. Their canopy walk is wonderful! We went as high as 60ft. There's food and drinks before and after the tour. They've got very courteous staff too You're not allowed to carry plastic into the main forest/wetland though. Pro tip: please wear boots or something that won't cut. I wore sandals and they got wrecked on the uneven logs. They've got giant chess boards, tennis, koi etc. I liked it here.

  • 5/5 Hephzibah ABAYOMI Kayode O. 3 years ago on Google
I was here and I felt like not leaving again. I can see the world through a canopy walk. I feel relaxed so much in the tree house and I feel so refreshed with the coconut drink. 😂 So delicious, so tasty.

  • 4/5 Gift O. 3 years ago on Google
A good place to go to with your friends and family to hang out and have a great time. There's the canopy walk through that allows you see the park at 401meters high above the ground and also the family park where different largely created board games are given for fun. There a fish pond too. And lots of things to eat. For a group of 4 people, estimated 45k on spending... Enjoy your time.

ekki Conservation Center THE LEKKI CONSERVATION CENTER IN Lekki, Nigeria, is an oasis of nature within the urban chaos of Lagos, and the suspended canopy walkway that rises over the reserve is the longest in all of Africa. The canopy walkway features six towers that rise over 22 feet each.

Nice way to view nature with the animals popping up time and again. And yes, that long canopy walk is a must do.

  • 4/5 Dennis E. 3 years ago on Google
This is one of the few places in Lagos deliberately dedicated to the preservation of mangrove and swamp habitats as well as the wildlife available around here. Monkeys are particularly plentiful and can be seen all around the human occupied spaces such as the waiting areas, board walks and so on. There are also snakes, crocodiles, civets and other animals you are not likely to see during on-seasons or when the center is open to the public. The canopy walk is obviously a big attraction as it is currently the longest in Africa. Anyone trying to conquer a fear of heights might want to consider the walk. There’s also the treehouse and the family park where many recreational activities can take place. I think that our guide was helpful and reassuring but I’d recommend some storytelling courses if possible.

It is a lovely place for tourism, although maintenance isn't perfectly in place and I expect to see snakes and crocks but none. A very massive land to tour. Beautiful peacock, monkeys , gigantic tortoise and lots more. Just my one visit won't make me want to go there second time. Except new creativity strings up.like erecting a fitness centre, a swimming pool and lots of recreational activities.

This is a great place to hang out as a family. Your kids can experience nature by staring (and maybe even playing with) the monkeys in the centre as they roam freely. The center offers a nature walk, which is a 12-minute trek leading up to the family park. At the family park, you can pick out of several gazebos to share a hearty meal with your family. You can also play some of the life-sized board games like chess, ludo, and checkers. There are also a couple volleyball courts and tennis tables. If you're looking for adventure, you can take the long canopy walk on the chain bridge that rises above the forests of the center. You can also take the long climb into the treehouse along the nature walk. All fun leads to the family park at the end, where you can relax and buy meals and drinks from the vendors around. The meals you can get include suya, barbecue chicken, small chops, asun, peppered ponmo, and many more. You have to book ahead before coming, so that they can limit the number of people in the park per day due to COVID regulations. You also have to wear a mask. There are many soap, water, and hand sanitiser dispensers located strategically around the park.

Your number one stop for nature. Experince the serenity of a full immersed and undisturbed vegetation. It has the longest canopy walk in africa. Most importantly it is pocket friendly. Advice: If you experience Acrophobia(Fear of Heights), please do not try out the canopy walk. It isn't for the faint hearted.

  • 4/5 Ebere E. 3 years ago on Google
Very fun place to be, the canopy walk can be scary but it's exciting. Covid rules are also being observed, No entry without Face mask.

  • 3/5 amaka n. 3 years ago on Google
If you don't like height, don't dare it. 😀 Aside the canopy walk which is cool, the family park isn't all that interesting. Best bet after the canopy walk, go to the family park for a drink and take pictures. Viola - just go home😊

  • 3/5 Charles R. 3 years ago on Google
Very cool for a chill out but I will suggest more animals like tortoise and peacocks should be in the conservation. Canopy walk shouldn't be same price as entrance fee, rather it should be ⅓ of it. Most of our loved ones ended up not using the already paid service. Also it will be fine if a good swimming pool is added as well.

It's quite fun and it's mostly because of the canopy walk. There's a tree house as well as the family park which is also a good place for family/group picnic so if you're looking for a nice and a serene place to carry out a family picnic then LCC is a nice spot for that. In all LCC is a nice place especially when you're in groups though the ticket fee was quite ridiculous but I guess it's because of the season.

So today was my first time visiting the Lekki Conservation Center and I was really surprised excited about it. Wanted to see what everyone says about it being awesome and the rest. Well I did get there but it was really not up to my expectations. There wasn't much things to see or do. It would be quite fun for kids but not for adults. I was kinda bored though. I'll say it's fair. It just didn't meet my expectations.

I only experienced the canopy walk, it was a worthy experience, if you have phobia for height, ensure you look forward and never down, be careful while snapping as your phone could fall into the ditch, if that happens you'd never be able to retrieve it.

Nice place in the Lekki area that provides a natural habitat. Easy to spot monkeys but not reptiles. The Skywalk provides an interesting view. For those used to sedentary lifestyles, get some comfy clothing and walking shoes and be ready to do a few kilometres walk.

An incredible place to visit. The canopy walk being the longest in Africa coupled with the fact that you get to see nature at its peak is what makes it interesting. The canopy walk is not advisable for folks with fear of height. However, the overall experience is one you can't forget in hurry.

At a place called the family park, u will snap different photos alongside play different games, buy alot of tinx. Be careful so that the Monkeys won't snatch r fone, keep them safely. Would love to go dr next time.

A good adventure to let of some tension. I love the adrenaline rush. After so much tension all week, go here to let loose 😬 It has the longest canopy walk in Africa. Try to climb the tree house too. They should however advertise the do's and don'ts properly, you get to find out after paying that there are age restrictions on certain things for example. Be careful with your belongings especially edibles as there are lots of monkeys there and they can harass tourists

That is the best attraction center i have gone to in Nigeria I had so much fun tho it was really stressful. It was thrilling and i was able to thick some daring things off my bucket list. If you are in lagos, you should definitely find time to go there tho i will advise other wise if you are terribly afraid of heights. Its really cheap too.

Igor to the Centre with so much excitement to show nature to my elderly mum and young children. First we had to wait for over 2hours as the personnel there said the tour can’t open until the rain stops. Quite understandable so we entertained ourselves with the monkeys around feeding them. Finally the tour started and at some point during the walkway through the swamp, I observed that some of the woods for the walkway were kind off shaky and rotten. I told myself that they were okay. Just before the canopy walk, the wooden walkway caved in and I fell into the swamp, sustaining bruises in the process. I got pull out by a tourist and my husband and immediately we sought the attention of one of the attendants at the canopy walkway. After several attempts before he was able to reach one of their office staff who said they would send help immediately. After waiting for over 20mins we decided to walk back to the reception area. 30mins later on our way out of the walkway with my injured leg we met the staff with a small first aid kit saying he was just informed. After sitting in their office for about 20mins, the staff comes back saying he wants to clean the surface of the wound with hydrogen peroxide as their General manger is available and their doctor isn’t on sit and there nothing else for them to do. In my opinion, I would never go back there and would strongly advise that tourist should not as well especially with kids and the elderly. They obviously don’t have any form of emergency strategy in the event of an emergency. Imagine if it was a kid that fell into the swamp? The woods on the walkway are weak and dilapidated and could cave in at any time.. If they can’t maintain a walkway which is one feet above the swamp level, I am suspicious of the canopy walkway which about 40feet above water level. We left with great disappointments on a Nigerian facility that should have great potentials but left to ruins like this

I didn't know what to expect when I decided to visit Lekki Conservation Centre. The thrill, fear, excitement and adrenaline rush I felt on that day is something that I have never felt in my life. I started with the canopy climb which I later got to know is the longest in Africa. That climb is the single most nerve wracking thing I have ever done in my life. I'm scared of heights, snakes and large bodies of water and honestly all three of them were present. Well you can call it a swampy area but the fear of falling from that height and landing in a reptiles infested swamp was something not to be ever thought about. I heard there were crocodiles but I didn't see any. I also enjoyed the tree house climbing. I'm scared of heights but I could manage that and there were lots of supports to hold on to while climbing. The fun I had in LCC was second to none. I enjoyed the coconut juice after the climb, there was grilled chicken, and other delicacies. There are also lots of games for the game lovers. Giant Ludo, Chess etc. I saw some fishes and some very beautiful 10 year old fish called Koi if I remember. I have never seen and fish so beautiful in my life. I also got to see two big tortoises, peacocks and oh! The monkeys. The monkeys stalked everyone that had food and threatened to steal if from your hands. Lol The experience was wonderful and I will definitely recommend to anyone. Also a great spot for hangouts with friends and families.

A really interesting place. Could be more interesting if only the managers could be more creative and make good use of the large expanse of empty land.

The main attraction was the Canopy walk. It wasn't so scary. I had good company. It was also nice to meet different people and make fun of one another. The only issue I had was THE MONKEY thing. There were monkeys EVERYWHERE! Also, except from the Chess, the other games did not look maintained at all. Entry fee was 1000 Canopy walk cost 1000. In total, we just spent 2k per person. A very fair deal, if you ask me.

Totally loved the nature's essence. The canopy walk is definitely only for the brave hearted. Domesticated animals and the breath of fresh air is 💯

It was great in that the environment was conserved in its original state. Fun people around and the staff were great! Many good spots to take pictures. The food was okay but there aren't many options for food and drinks. Reasonable level of adherence to COVID-19 protocols. Didn't see many animals probably because we scared them away😂😂. Not many social activities but it's a great place to spend a few hours during a weekend.

I really enjoyed my visit. I loved seeing all the monkeys and the peacock, the monitor lizard, the tortoises and fish. It was fun. I even had a couple of monkeys ambush my party on the boardwalk 😂. I've put some photos below for your enjoyment. P.S. I especially enjoyed capturing the monkeys.

Kudos to the management. One thing I must commend on is the management/maintenance of the conversation center. It's really a fun center. Thou it takes the brave to enjoy and experience such. It wasn't easy walking on the longest canopy I must say but it's fun and cool.

This is an Amazing place, serene and brings you closer to Nature. The canopy trail was scary but after I came down, I was proud of myself. I could not climb the tree house because I was so scared😂😂 but people that climbed it had fun. The game section /family park was nice. Met the monkeys 🙈. The museum was on point too, saw tortoise shell , Jaw of elephant etc.

Great way to spend a day outdoors, take the canopy walk if you are not afraid of heights and see the monkeys, peacocks and turtle. Stay close to the tour guide to take all the info in or enjoy your solo or group walk.

Nice place. Been there over and over. The entrance fee is 1k and has been on that price for years. It has a scary jungle like walk through which is part of the major fun apart from the canopy walk... Not forgetting the almost human monkeys that every where adding to the fun

If you're ever in need of a quiet, natural space -- to either be by yourself or chill with colleagues, friends and family then this is the place to go. I've been here a couple of times, and my most recent visit was last week. As always, I loved the long and leisurely walk through the forest and catching occasional glimpse of the ever-present Mona monkeys. Be careful not to hold edibles while on the boardwalk -- the monkeys can come for it, and snatch it off your hands. While here, you can climb the treehouse, experience the canopy walkway (401km) and rest afterwards in any of a couple of gazebos in the Family Park, perfect for picnics.

Fun experience. Nothing really prepares you for the canopy walk (except you don't have a fear of heights) Not a huge variety of animals to see The side attractions are poorly maintained. Good space for a picnic or gathering though. Would recommend to visit at least once.

It is a good example of nature reserve, the serene is cool and calm, fresh and unpolluted air, animals like monkeys, fishes and tall trees, there's a canopy walkway, a tree house and family park with tent and garden games. I had fun at the jungle!!! 🤣

Had an absolutely memorable trip with friends and family! Definitely recommend to visit with some company. A great spot for photographs as well! The treehouse on the way is quite scary but it's thrilling to climb up. The canopy way is quite the adrenaline-causing ride for the boldest. The marshlands in the conservative have a very relaxing green that could be stared at for hours on end. Easily worth the money you spend! However, the noisiness and the markets when you reach the grassland is annoying :( If it were reduced it's the best trip you'd have!

Ticket fee to go om the canopy walk and the park area cost #3000 per person. I'd advice you only go on the canopy walk, the park & garden area is totally not worth it except if you are going on a group picnic or something....there is nothing to see there (except if u want to take a picture of that chess board), plus it not properly taken care of. Don't get me started on the vendors food quality and also monkeys trying to steal your food, lol. You have to be on guard if you're at the garden, there's a 99% probability a monkey will try to steal to water, food, glasses etc. Also, the tree house is not worth climbing, the canopy walk is the highlight of the conservation centre.

It's a beautiful and adventurous place to visit. If you're afraid of height, it's advisable not to go. It's interesting to go with friends, you might need a hand to hold and a buddy to scream with because going about 77ft high is no child's play.

The park is literally a breath of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. The canopy walk is quite exciting and scary especially at the peak. Highly recommended!
