Am having a terrible experience presently with wakanow. For two months now, they're yet to refund my money for bookings cancelled by the airline due to Covid pandemic. And airline made it clear that refund is in full since it's not passengers fault not to travel. Wakanow I implore you not to withhold people's money especially at this critical period. I feel it's not really too good to use agents because I would've resolved this with the airline directly but they referred me back to the agent I used. A refund that that doesn't take up to two weeks to process is now taking months! Wakanow is becoming a failure!

Absolute nightmare! Took 3 days to receive a ticket I purchased online. Customer support is verryyyy poor, the connection is either bad or they're ending the calls after waiting for 10 mins+. Refund is a nightmare, a week into my refund request and I'm still waiting to know when I'll get my money. Such horror. Can I give zero star? Update: took 2 months and a few days to get my refund. This was after several WhatsApp chats, about 5 phone calls and 2 visits to the office at Elegushi. D.I.S.A.S.T.R.O.U.S

This review is long overdue. After my experiences with Wakanow, I wouldn’t rate them as a travel agency because for me they fail woefully to carry out what that entails. If you want to book your flights and accommodation, sure, you can use them. I think they do that well because those are tied to other websites and it’s not exactly rocket science to do so. Based on my visa experience, I don’t think I’ll be using them for this either though, cos I’m so pained. For Visas, please steer clear of them, because as they say here, “Wakanow will embarrass you”. I think they are only interested in the consultation fee they get paid and not on your success. They will know fully well that time may not be on your side as per what the processes take, but will allow you to go on. You give them the consultation fee, they waste your time, do not advice you accordingly and you end up spending and losing a lot of money on consultation and the entire visa process. Imagine them going ahead with an application when they know the visa processing timeline is longer than ones’s scheduled travel date. When you state your disappointment, someone will call you and claim they are investigating the matter. Lol, that’s where it all ends. You won’t hear from them again, after all, they’ve sha collected their money. Every other thing is not their business. OYO Zero customer satisfaction. **Edit** If you read the reviews, you’ll find the good ratings are based on flight and accommodation booking and not visa services. That area is a sham with them.

It's a very organized space with adequate parking right in front of the building. They have been in the business of booking tours and flights for close to over ten years. The location is accessible and bound by accessible roads

If you are looking for a travel company that will stress you and not bother to follow up with plenty headaches, then you can do wakanow. Customer service is zero, just to plan a very small vacation since for days, no reply, no response. With numerous follow up via email, phone calls and messages. There staffs don’t care, very lackadaisical. They are the worst, I wish I could give them zero ratings

Located on the serene Oba Elegushi road, the Wakanow Office is hard to miss sitting close to the prestigious Nike Art Gallery. Had an amazing experience there. Excellent service too.

If there was -5 stars, that's what I will rate them. If you want to travel with peace of mind and enjoy your holiday or trip don't use Wakanow. Because they will give you high bp. I booked visa, flight, hotel, and airport transfers (the whole works) to Dubai with them and I almost got stranded as they couldn't work out hotel transfers to pick me from hotel to airport between themselves. I had to pay for taxi to get to airport after paying them N38,000 for hotel transfers (pickup and drop off) before leaving Nigeria. To help get another hotel because I had to extend my stay, I gave notice ahead of time and called and called, they waited till last minute and then gave me the option of paying N938,400 for one hotel or N1,001,700 for another 😂, for 1 week extension o! Don't just waste your time and money with these guys find a competent, excellence oriented travel agency that will deliver. These ones don chop over belleful.

Their staff is extremely nonchalant and non-helpful with issues that may arise. Very lax and slow to respond to emails no matter how tight your deadline is. The customer care representatives on the telephone are way worse. I would not advise anyone to make use of this agency.

If you intend to buy a non refundable KLM ticket, just purchase insurance! Otherwise, the cost of changing the ticket will be much higher than the original ticket. The wakanow agents won't tell you this, and when you ask for options, they won't give you any. So if you didn't buy insurance and you need to change your travel dates on your non refundable ticket, you are better off buying a brand new ONE WAY ticket.

This has to be the worst ever. No customer service whatsoever. They don’t care how urgent you need to get something done they just spend forever towards doing something that can be done easily. You people should just close up cos what’s the essence of offering unsatisfactory services to customers.

I just spoke to a Representative of Wakanow who goes by the name Lucy on helping with booking a ticket, on july/6/2022 at 5:55pm Nigerian time, this lady was so rude I mean she was so disrespectful she just told me “ ma’am you should go book your ticket yourself “ and she hung up she won’t even let me finish sentences during the conversation she just keep cutting me off, wakanow need to work on their customer service representatives they were so loud chanting each other you can hear their conversations and unprofessional at first I thought I called a market square call center.

Very fraudulent airline ! Never ever use them if possible , rater book directly with airlines ! I paid for a ticket ! Paid more money for a reschedule, eventually Emirstes stop flying from Nigeria for a while , then when they come back I asked to use my ticket and they are insisting I can’t use it or get a refund ! Meanwhile I have spoken to emirates and they told me I’m valid for a refund! So I have literally been scammed by them ! Never ever again would anyone I know use wakanow ! Scammers

Wakanow are wolves in sheep's clothing, they love cheating their customers by waiting until the last minute so that they can gain more for you. Imagine calling five times before my issue was resolved and I lost a lot of money due to their negligence. Shame on you.

I called asking for a flight to Lomé. They had none available but did promise to call back either way since I was on a waiting list. I had no call back and managed to secure a seat on the same flight using another flight booking service.

They rescheduled my son's flight to Canada on the day he was meant to travel. How can a company be so heartless? A ticket paid for 5 months prior to the traveling date. Use them at your own risk. They collect your money and then sell off tickets for higher profits and then offer you reschedule. Bunch of unserious folks.
