Mmmm, the hotel is beautiful and but their service is zero. The day we checked in, we were told there is buffe, the next morning the only food available was just rice and fish stew. The tomato wasn't well blended and the fish was pieced inside the stew, and it was tasteless. My room toilet was bad and it has a bad smell, I requested for a change of room, I was told I can't change room. I can't count how many times I was embarrassed, by their staff. The only person who was kind is Mr Charles the manager, he is a nice man and kind, he made me enjoy my last day.

Second Time visiting, even made sure to inform the Front Desk about the fact we visited last month we were discounted.. Informed her i was staying for 5days, she insisted i pay the premium amount of 35,000...

This is a very nice hotel, although new . It has good customer service. The place is so relaxing and cool to lodge in . Their swimming pool is always neat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to chill and relax.

In love with the interior it’s givinnnnnn, I didn’t like their fried turkey tho it was quite dry but their fried chicken was okay, it’s dipped in this sort of tomato pepper sauce (mildly spicy) they make a decent bbq fish. Their management is so friendly and patient I know this because I called the restaurant like five times last night asking for pancakes (which they didn’t have😒) Very busy at night from 7:00pm to 10:00pm so food orders is quite slow. They have a gym and a pool (I have no picture of that)

This hotel has a beautiful scenery and service. The kitchen service needs a little improvement though, it takes time to get one's order.

Chief Executive Officer, Chief Tochukwu Metuh (Mkpuruobi Abatete) @mkpuruobi__ CEO, Waldorf Blu Hotels, Awka may be the Chief and CEO of the Hotel but He and his GM Charles and Ms. Blessings fail to compensate me for the clothing that was damaged by their laundry department and staff of the Hotel. I did not like the towels and bed sheets that were given to the guest for use. The bath towels and sheets were old and torn with holes. Many times we would ask the staff to change out the torn sheets and towels that they have given. They do not take ownership of damaging your clothing. The staff took my clothing that I asked to IRON and they decided to wash and destroy my TOMMY HILFIGER clothing. The General manager Charles refuses to compensate me for the damaged clothing. The clothing was damaged on the 22 of September and the supervisor Ms. Blessing knew of the damaged clothing and did not do anything to compensate me for $400 us dollars. The GM Charles and Supervisor Ms. Blessing are liars and do not care that your clothing was destroyed by a staff of the hotel.

A home away from home. I enjoyed my stay. The hospitality was topnotch. The rooms so beautiful and tasteful. The road leading to the hotel is a mess.

Even when reading the hotel’s responses to the rating; they keep apologizing and nothing is done about it! This is usually the beginning of downfall. This attitude usual extends to maintenance! Keep up with this attitude and you won’t believe it! The key to success and sustainability- Good customer service, good food , neatness and maintenance.

Located in a neighbourhood full of bustling activities yet the access roads are untarred as at December 2022. It's a beautiful hotel and it's made me enjoy my stay in Awka as a first timer. Nice pool, nice rooms - beds are average sized. There are two working elevators to climb up and down the floors of the hotel.

Tbh! I am not certified with the services of this hotel. It started when I got to the hotel, trying to check it, my personal belonging was stolen from me.. as if that was not enough, I ordered a meal, Egusi soup and oatmeal precisely.. they food was served 1hour plus without cutleries nor flux has required since there’s protein included in the meal.. Not to talk about the awful smell of Weed all over the place and the noisy hallway.. I don’t get why I would pay for the best room and not get a serine environment.

A very wonderful hotel, very neat with nice ambience, food is great and tasty. The hotel indeed gives value for your money. Well structured and the staffs are ok. Room cleaning is very great. It's indeed a home away from home. I will sure visit again.

They basically messed my birthday up after collecting full payment from me, the food was wack, they didn’t deliver what was asked of them… I asked to play music then they said order from above said they shouldn’t, they made me cry unnecessarily, Mr chidi is very incompetent as a hotel staff, even the food wasn’t was I paid for..they just have nice ambiance no else again! Don’t worry there won’t be a next time.

This is a very bad hotel, they accused us of stealing their cups. They are also very rude too. The food is trash also. This should be a 1 star hotel.

Very beautiful neat hotel, the rooms were superb and very comfortable. They have everything: spacious gym , swimming pool and the food is savoury. Will definitely be visiting again anytime am in the east

"Wow!" was the first word I managed to say after I stepped into the hotel lounge. The whole place screamed of luxury and class. After being to a couple of hotels in Awka I didn't know there was a hotel this grand there – especially because the road just in front of the hotel is quite bad and usually water-logged whenever it rains. I had thought the hotel lounge was exquisite until I stepped into my room. Wow! It was sheer art and beauty! Every item in the room so carefully selected with no expense spared. Need I say more?🤷‍♀️ Everything about the hotel was top-notch EXCEPT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My husband and I were thoroughly embarrassed by one of the hotel staff in the restaurant chiefly because I had joined him in eating his complimentary breakfast from his plate (which is our standard practice at every hotel we've been at). The hotel staff embarrassed us before other guests by repeatedly telling him (3 times in a row) not to go back for a second helping of stew. On checking out, we were asked to wait a while while they briefly inspected the room. We busied ourselves with sitting and taking pictures as we waited for the valet to return, dropping our bags by the reception desk.The valet returned and asked us to come and carry our bags away from where we had kept it. While it might have been improper to have left the bags by the reception, the least he could have done was to carry the bags and give us a polite signal especially as he knew we had been waiting for him to return. The front desk staff did not put up a smile or try to improve the overall experience of the guests. Overall, I didn't enjoy my experience at the hotel and would rather not pay it another visit. Why? Class & luxury - 85%, ambience and customer satisfaction – 49%. Please do better. We pay good money for this stuff.
